Saturday Wine Tasting

Saturday Wine Tasting
Where: all four locations
Date: Saturday - April 2nd
Time: 1pm-3pm

Stop by any of our 4 locations (soon to be 5 locations!) to taste through a set of new and exciting wines. We will be pouring the following wines at all 4 locations this weekend from 1-3pm or until the bottles are empty:

2020 Medimer Viognier...$13.99
It is hard to find a great inexpensive Viognier, so we are very excited to find this one, gorgeous nose of peaches and apricots. I has flavors of tangerine, almonds and a hint of ginger with depth and weight. Perfect for an aperitif wine and and also with seafood or spicy foods. . Early morning picking and cold temperature fermentation to preserve freshness. The lees are stirred post-fermentation to add volume to the wine and balance the fruit.

2020 Medimer Syrah...$13.99
Big rich syrah value! Crimson color with very distinguishable purple hues. Aromas of violet then small black fruit, cocoa and spices. Fills the mouth wiht fine and silky tannins, volume and roundness in the mouth. Pleasant length and persistence
Soil: The Mediterranean waterfront is principally composed of two types of sediments: tertiary (sand, clay) and quaternary (gravel). Climate: Mediterranean, along with special humidity and freshness from the Étang de Thau, guaranteeing the perfect balance of required acid alcohol for red wines.

2020 Chartron and Trebuchet Macon Villages....$19.99
White gold in color with silver highlights. The notes of chalk and limestone make it a very tense and mineral wine. The palate is complex with aromas of lemon and orange blossom. The freshness is ensured by a good acidity that pleasantly wakes up the taste buds. Made from 20 year old vines aged in Stainless steal tanks.
Ideal as an aperitif, but also with poultry and veal in creamy sauce, creamy risotto with meat or fish, grilled fish, cold antipasti and ratatouille, mixed salads, sushi. Perfect with Goat cheese.

Year's Best of Southwest France 2021 -- Wine and Spirits Magazine
2020 Domaine Coutinel Malbec...$15.99 on sale
Regular price $19.99
One of a series of limited-quantity, single-variety wines, this Malbec (or Côt to use the local name) is structured, with tannins as well as rich black fruits. At the same time it has a light touch, with acidity and fruitiness already balanced. Drink from 2022.
