New St. George Agricole Rum

St. George Caligornia Agricole Rum...$42.99
Made from 100% California sugarcane, St. George California Agricole Rum (formerly Agua Libre Rum) is a pure, primal, unapologetic expression of fresh California cane.
Intensely grassy, sultry, and robust, this rum is not for the faint of heart—but for those who love it there is no substitute.
ABV: 43%

We make our rum from fresh sugarcane—not molasses—in the style of a rhum agricole or cachaça. The cane is grown outside of Brawley in the Imperial Valley of Southern California. Immediately after harvest, stalks of sugarcane are shipped here to the distillery, where we extract fresh cane juice by running the stalks by hand through a sugarcane mill.  The freshly pressed, uncooked cane juice is then fermented and distilled in small batches in our 500-liter copper pot still.

Sierra Nevada Beer Camp Invitation Double IPA...$5.99 / 24oz

A Liquid Invitation to Beer Camp Across America

SIERRA NEVADA SENDS BEER CAMP ACROSS AMERICA MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE
Limited release double IPA doubles as a beer festival invitation

Chico, CA—June 23, 2014—Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. is sending a flavorful request instead of a formal one, today shipping to distributors a West Coast Double IPA in 24-ounce bottles that invites beer drinkers to attend Beer Camp Across America. An unprecedented seven-city traveling beer festival, Beer Camp Across America will feature more than 700 total breweries; each brewery will pour their beers at the festival closest to them. The West Coast Double IPA includes a message that calls drinkers to the bounty of beer that will be at each tour stop.

“There will be a huge selection of great beers in every city we visit this summer, and we thought beer lovers would appreciate a glimpse of the fun to come with our own hopped-up invitation,” said Ken Grossman, founder of Sierra Nevada. “This is an IPA that’s West Coast in style, which is fitting since the whole pilgrimage kicks off here in California in just a few weeks.”

Heading to most states in limited quantities, the Beer Camp Across America West Coast Double IPA clocks in at 8.5% ABV and features five hop varieties, two of which went into Sierra Nevada’s “Hop Torpedo” dry-hopping device and impart hints of grapefruit and a floral note that recalls orange blossom. A light malt body and dry finish complement the bold hop profile.

1996 Dom Perignon Oenotheque

In stock now at Forsyth - only 9 more bottles available

Dom Perignon vintages are only released after 7 years of aging. A small portion of each Dom Perignon Vintage is kept on the lees long to be released when the cellar master deemed they were ready. The "second release" is the Eonotheque.

Disgorged in 2008 - so 12 years on the lees
1996 Dom Perignon OEnotheque....$339.99 / 750ml
"The 1996 Dom Perignon OEnotheque offers up layers of pastry, lemon, smoke and toastiness. At first deceptively understated, the wine turns positively explosive and layered on the palate, showing remarkable tension, elegance and power, all wrapped around a seriously intense frame. The balance between fruit and acidity is awesome. This is a marvelous DP OEno. The OEno is the same juice as the regular Dom Perignon, except the OEno is aged on the cork while the regular DP is aged in crown-sealed bottles. Once disgorged, the OEenos gets a slightly lower dosage than is typical for the original release DP. This bottle was disgorged in 2008. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2026."

NEW Patron Roca Tequila

The new line of Patron is crafted exclusively from the 500 Year Old Tahona Process

Tahona Process:

In the tahona process, a large volcanic stone wheel slowly crushes the shredded cooked agave, which is then placed (agave juice and agave fiber both) into pine wood casks for fermentation. Hand-made copper pot stills then take over the next step, distillation. In this process, the fermented “mosto” is distilled once with the agave fiber, then distilled again without, before it is fine filtered and balanced to produce the final tequila.

NINKASI BREWING COMPANY
Double Latte Coffee Imperial Stout

Inspired by the perennial café favorite, Double Latte combines two of the greatest things in life: good coffee and great beer. Oregon’s Ninkasi Brewing knows their way around a good cup of joe. Featuring cold-press coffee from the legendary Stumptown Coffee Roasters and a dose of milk sugar, this coffee milk stout is a rich and roasty treat.
This young-gun brewery has a locomotive charge. A rich conversation at a local bottle shop in 2005 has morphed into a Pacific Northwest staple. Named after the Sumerian goddess of fermentation, Ninkasi’s first batch of beer was Total Domination IPA and it remains a must for those with a lupulin itch.

NEW GLARUS BREWING COMPANY
There and Back English Style Bitter

For beer folks, Chico, CA, and New Glarus, WI, are must-see capitals on the U.S. brewing map, but getting between the two is no simple feat. There and Back is named for the planes, trains, and zeal needed to connect them. This classic English-style Bitter is a complex yet easy-drinking mix of toasty malt and a fruity, herbal hop flavor.
New Glarus is fiercely loyal to its home state, growing to one of the largest breweries in the U.S. without selling a single drop outside of the borders of Wisconsin. With those local tastes in mind, New Glarus has perfected traditional German styles and invented masterful versions of complex and intense fruit beers featuring Wisconsin-grown ingredients.

BELL’S BREWERY, INC.
Maillard's Odyssey Imperial Dark Ale

Rich, dark, and roasty. That was the concept Bell’s beer guru John Mallett aimed for and, true to John’s vision, Maillard’s Odyssey is exactly that. Its name honors the Maillard reaction—the “browning” of sugars and amino acids—that creates the wonderful caramelized toffee-like and roasted flavors so abundant in this beer.
Bell’s has done a lot to raise the Midwest’s craft beer bona fides. They are masters of many beer styles from their portfolio of top-notch American stouts all the way through to the alpha acid assault of their Hopslam Ale. Bell’s constantly reinvents beer styles and refines recipes with artful mastery and an oddball slant.

RUSSIAN RIVER BREWING COMPANY
Yvan the Great Belgian Style Blond

As longtime friends, Russian River brewmaster Vinnie Cilurzo and our own Brian Grossman are no strangers to brewing experiments. While looking for inspiration for this collaboration, Vinnie and Brian decided to honor the creations of legendary Belgian brewer Yvan De Baets with their own hop-forward American-Belgian mash-up.
From complex Belgian-inspired styles to American wild ales and hoppy Double IPA’s, Russian River always pushes boundaries while respecting technique and quality. Co-owners Vinnie and Natalie Cilurzo are longtime friends of Sierra Nevada and they always have a six-pack of Pale Ale in their fridge at home.

FIRESTONE WALKER BREWING CO.
Torpedo Hoppy Pilsner

Torpedo Pilsner is a hop-forward take on the crisp classic lager. We and the folks at Firestone Walker share a passion for New Zealand hop varietals, so we loaded our legendary Hop Torpedo with southern hemisphere hops for a fruity, floral twist on the pilsner style.
Just down the road from us in California’s Central Coast wine country, this rock star brewery has earned “Mid-size Brewery of the Year” at the World Beer Cup four times. Like us, Firestone is passionate about hops. Their skill with the ingredient shines in their Pale Series and elsewhere in a long beer lineup driven by a premier brewing team.

CIGAR CITY BREWING, LLC
Yonder Bock Tropical Maibock

Tampa is a long way from our home base in Chico, but the guys down yonder in Florida sure can brew a great beer. Our friends at Cigar City find inspiration in the Cuban roots of their hometown, and that Latin-inspired flair is evident in Yonder Bock. This tropical take on the Maibock adds a Latin island flair to this traditional German style beer.
Enamored with the Latin roots of their Tampa home, Cigar City always tries to channel a bit of local history into their beers, e.g. the Humidor Series whose beers age on Spanish cedar as an homage to Tampa’s cigar making roots. Only five years old, this brewery deserves the fast praise that’s come its way.

VICTORY BREWING COMPANY
Alt Route Altbier

Brewers are notorious for refusing to take the easy path. Instead, we lead with our hearts and pursue our passions no matter how difficult the road ahead. Alt Route is a tribute to this stubborn spirit that drove us to dodge the status quo and found breweries. Together we chased the siren song of beer with this revamped take on an antique beer style.
Like us, Victory is one of the few brewers with an allegiance to whole-cone hops. They do extensive work with hop flavor, especially focusing on clever and delicious single-hop beers highlighting the same hop grown in different regions. They too share our roots in home brewing and never lost their passion for working with new beers and styles solely for the joy of making something new.

OSKAR BLUES BREWERY
CANfusion Rye Bock

Our friends at Oskar Blues pioneered great beer in a can and, as mutual members of the canned craft club, this partnership was a perfect fit. CANfusion is a coming together—a fusion, if you will—of flavors from across the spectrum of brewing: spicy rye, tangy wheat and a bright citrusy hop aroma.
Oskar Blues is the granddaddy of canned craft beer. Like us, they have a fun-loving passion for the outdoors and bikes. It was a natural fit for them to adopt cans as a portable, durable way to tote their favorite beer on the trail, and in the process they paved the way for all other craft brewers to follow.

ALLAGASH BREWING COMPANY
Myron's Walk Belgian Style Pale

We named this beer in honor of Myron Avery, a founder of the Appalachian Trail, or the A.T., which starts near Sierra Nevada’s North Carolina brewery and ends near Allagash’s home in Maine. Both breweries have a tremendous love of the outdoors, and Avery and the A.T. are great reminders of the wild spirit of exploration that connects us both.
In 1995, Rob Tod started Allagash Brewing Company and since then, Portland, ME, has been a place of reverence in the Belgian brewing pantheon. Allagash adds their Belgian flair to variety of beer styles and are one of the few American breweries to use a traditional coolship for true spontaneous fermentations leading to seriously complex beers native to their coastal home.

ASHEVILLE BREWERS ALLIANCE
Tater Ridge Scottish Ale

The Asheville area is a brewing hotspot nestled in the mountains of North Carolina. Tater Ridge was brewed by something of a craft beer super group made up of members of the Asheville Brewers Alliance. We’re fortunate to call these passionate and talented brewers our neighbors, and we hope this unique ale will be the first of many collaborations to come.
We’ve made plenty of new friends in the nearly 30-strong Asheville Brewers Alliance (ABA) since we started brewing in North Carolina. Two of whom—John Stuart of Green Man Brewery and Luke Dickinson of Wicked Weed Brewing—led this collaboration recipe and work tirelessly to bring creativity and a deep-seated love of locally made craft beer to the Appalachian Mountains.

3 FLOYDS BREWING CO.
Chico King Pale Ale

3 Floyds has a reputation as the Midwestern kings of alpha (hops), and it seems that one of our beers helped to lure them down the lupulin-paved path. Chico King is a mash-up of our mutual passion for hoppy pale ales and combines a uniquely robust malt body with intense citrusy and fruity new school hop varietals.
3 Floyds marches to the beat of their own (double kick) drum when it comes to collaboration, often partnering with comic book artists, tattoo parlors or heavy metal bands when inspiration strikes. These eclectic beers are coveted throughout the Midwest and some beers, like the legendary Dark Lord Imperial Stout, have spawned something akin to a beer-themed holiday in the brewery’s hometown of Muenster, IN.

BALLAST POINT BREWING COMPANY
Electric Ray India Pale Lager

As ever, San Diego’s Ballast Point looked to the sea for the inspiration behind Electric Ray. A play on the fish’s scientific name—Torpedo californica—this beer pays homage to our mutual home state, as well as to our Hop Torpedo, the source of much of the big flavor in this high voltage, hop-forward Imperial Pale Lager.
Ballast Point brought their homebrewing dreams to the big leagues and started brewing professionally, but they never forgot their roots. They still run a successful homebrewing supply shop in San Diego. A love for hops and the ocean inspire incredible brewed and distilled offerings, and their one-of-a-kind labels boast some beautiful, and sometimes gnarly-lookin’, fish.

4 Hands Prussia - Berliner Weiss

4 Hands Brewing -- St. Louis, Missouri
4 Hands Brewing Prussia Berliner Style Weiss...$7.99 / 22oz

"Prussia Berliner Style Weiss is our summer seasonal. The name originates from Frederick the Great who ultimately became the King of Prussia. Frederick was trained in brewing this very delicate style of beer. Our version is traditional in style. Prussia pours a hazy straw color with a nice tart finish." - label

Tanzer just scored the 2012 Fevre Chablis
we have less than a case left of each.

2012 William Fevre Chablis:

2012 William Fevre Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru...$104.99
Lightly hazy pale yellow-green. Soil-driven scents of citrus peel, anise, spices and white pepper, with a hint of toast; this smells profound. Boasts a silky texture and outstanding volume and power, with powerful concentration to the flavors of lemon, minerals, spices and oregano. Offers a magical combination of richness and precision and a slowly building, extremely long finish

Rated 93-96/100 Burghound
Rated 94-95/100 The Wine Advocate
Pale yellow. Powerful aromas of lime, quinine, crushed rock and iodine. Silky on entry, then dense and penetrating in the middle, displaying terrific limey lift and saline thrust to the flavors of citrus peel, crushed rock, elderflower and white pepper. Most promising today on the echoing, building, palate-staining finish, with strong acidity (more than 4.5 grams per liter, according to Seguier) drawing out the wine's fruit. A knockout--and still an infant.
Rated 95+/100 Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar

2012 William Fevre Chablis Bougros Cotes Bouguerots Grand Cru...$88.99
A strikingly pungent alliance of peppermint, pennyroyal, lemon rind and chalk dust surges from the glass of Fevre’s 2012 Chablis Bougros Cote de Bouguerots – tasted some six months before bottling – and allies itself on a firm, bright palate with crab apple and toasted shrimp shells. Hints of noble fungus and bittersweet floral perfume emerge as the glass stands open, but the emphasis here remains on tart fruits, green herbs, and stuff that requires a mineral vocabulary to imperfectly capture. This energetic but austere cru grips with formidable, pungent, brash tenacity. Its aptitude for refreshing, invigorating and tapping the salivary glands already, thankfully, triumphs over its austerity. Look for excitement through at least 2022.
Rated 93-95/100 Burghound
Rated 93-94/100 The Wine Advocate
Pale yellow. Superb lift to the aromas of musky minerals, lime, ginger, quinine and elderflower, complicated by pepper and toasty nuances. Suave, seamless and sappy, boasting outstanding energy, cut and inner-mouth perfume to its explosive ripe citrus, mineral and pepper flavors. This very dry, broad grand cru finishes with terrific peppery lift, building length and a magically light touch. A beauty.
Rated 95/100 Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar

2012 William Fevre Chablis Bougros Grand Cru
This is notably more elegant than it usually is with its grudging aromas of white flower, citrus zest, iodine and algae. The muscular and intensely citrus-infused broad-shouldered flavors possess outstanding concentration and focused power before concluding in a bone dry and mineral-driven finish. This is a very big wine even by the outsized standards of the typical Bougros yet save for a slight touch of warmth it maintains near perfect balance.

Rated 93-95/100 Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media
Rated 91-94/100 Burghound
Rated 92-93/100 The Wine Advocate
Pale, green-tinged yellow. Delicate aromas of lime, fresh herbs and white pepper. At once large-scaled and gripping, displaying superb depth and vinosity to its flavors of lemon, lime and medicinal herbs, plus a hint of eucalyptus. This wonderfully suave, seamless wine spreads out on the back end to saturate the palate. From vines averaging 45 years of age, including a percentage planted by William Fevre's father in 1948 and 1949.
Rated 93/100 Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar

2012 William Fevre Chablis Vaillons 1er Cru...$75.99
This is clearly riper than the Montmains with hints of dried yellow orchard fruit on the otherwise classic Chablis aromas of green fruit and wet stone. There is a beguiling succulence to the intense, precise and mineral-driven middle weight flavors that culminate in a clean, bone dry, balanced and strikingly persistent finish. This is one the best examples of the Fèvre Vaillons that I have seen.
Rated 92-94/100 Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media
Rated 90-93/100 Burghound
Rated 91-92/100 The Wine Advocate
Ripe but extremely closed nose hints at white pepper. Broad and energetic but tight in the mouth, with terrific limey thrust and a brisk flavor of green apple. Finishes fresh, tactile and long. This sharply delineated wine will show a stronger mineral character with a few years of cellaring.
Rated 91/100 Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar

2012 William Fevre Chablis Montee de Toneere 1er Cru...$51.99
This offers up buckets of Chablis character with its pure aromas of mineral reduction, citrus rind, green fruit and pretty floral scents. There is excellent intensity and real punch to the splendidly detailed medium weight plus flavors that deliver seriously impressive depth on the explosive and bone dry finish. This is almost painfully intense yet there is virtually no austerity and overall, this is quite simply terrific.
Rated 92-94/100 Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media
Rated 91-94/100 Burghound
Rated 91-92/100 The Wine Advocate
Pale, green-tinged yellow. Pungent aromas of lime zest, wet stone and saline oyster shell. Densely packed, creamy and deep, with a combination of strong minerality and lively acidity (4.5 grams per liter) giving cut to the lime, pineapple and oyster shell flavors. Richer than the Lys but a bit less taut, even if it's still a bit reduced and in need of patience. This extremely long wine should enjoy a slow and graceful evolution in bottle.
Rated 93+/100 Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar

2012 William Fevre Chablis Fourchame 1er Cru...$41.99
There is a lovely range of aromas present here with both white and yellow orchard fruit, sea shore scents and smoke, all topped by a note of mineral reduction. There is outstanding richness to the powerful and impressively concentrated middle weight flavors that retain a racy mouth feel thanks to the bracing acidity that imparts a real sense of lift to the driving finish. This is also quite good and worthy of your attention
Rated 91-93/100 Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media
Rated 90-91/100 Burghound
Rated 90-91/100 The Wine Advocate
Very pale, green-tinged yellow. Slightly high-toned aromas of honey and wet stone. Less minerally and more chardonnay-like than the Lys but rich and fine-grained, showing an intriguing note of grilled hazelnut. Quite dry, even austere, on the back end, leaving the salivary glands quivering. Needs time in bottle to show its best.
Rated 90+/100 Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar

BV Georges de Latour - 2010 at an amazing price!

On sale now.
$125 suggested retail
2010 BV Georges de Latour Private Reserve...$79.99

The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Georges de Latour Private Reserve is a drop-dead gorgeous beauty. Freshly cut flowers, mint, spices, licorice and graphite all burst from the glass as the 2010 shows off its personality. While some of Beaulieu's 2010s are ripe and flashy, the Georges de Latour is wonderfully fresh and alive in the glass, not to mention absolutely classic in feel. Graphite, violets and pencil shavings linger on the close. The 2010 has captured every bit of the potential I sensed last year.
Rated 94/100 Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media

The strongest vintage since the 2007 is the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Private Reserve Georges de Latour. This beautifully ripe wine boasts a dense ruby/purple color along with abundant notes of cassis, kirsch, cedarwood, foresty and background vanilla notes, a full-bodied mouthfeel, and moderately high tannins. Given the richer fruit concentration, the tannins are easily balanced and do not interfere with currant drinkability or the potential for the wine to be cellared for two decades or more.
Rated 93/100 Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate

Delightfully pure and flavorful, with generous plum, blueberry and blackberry notes, framed by solid yet friendly tannins. Most impressive on the finish, where the flavors sail on. Best from 2014 through 2025. 7,400 cases made. –JL
Rated 93/100 The Wine Spectator

2013 Pine Ridge Chenin Blanc + Viognier...$11.99
This wine has scored 90 points from Robert Parker of The Wine Advocate for the last 4 years straight. The 2013 has not been scored, but the quality is there.

Here is what Parker said on the 2012 vintage
"A consistent winner in the value sweepstakes, this offering from winemaker Michael Beaulac is a blend of 80% Chenin Blanc and 20% Viognier. This dry white offers a stunning aromatic display of honeydew melons, spring flowers, pears and cantaloupe. The sumptuous perfume is followed by a wine with crisp, zesty acids, medium body and abundant purity as well as freshness. The Viognier component no doubt pushes this delightful white toward an exotic, tropical fruit-flavored style. Luckily, there are 87,000 cases produced. This beauty is meant to be consumed over the next year." - Rated 90/100 Robert Parker
