Amazing Rose from Provence

2013 Bargemone Coteaux d'Aux en Provence Rosé...$16.99
30% Grenache, 25% Syrah, 20% Cinsault, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Carignan, 6% white varietals (including Vermentino, Sauvignon Blanc, and Ugni Blanc).
A perennial favorite, the light pink/melon-colored 2013 Coteaux d'Aix en Provence rose gives up pretty notes of mineral water, melon rind and orange blossom to go with a medium-bodied, refreshing and lip-smacking good palate. Enjoy this hot summer day quaffer over the coming summer months.

2010 Castello di Ama Chianti Classico San Lorenzo Gran Selezione...$49.99

Lowest on Wine Searcher is $56.99

"Offers a combination of power and elegance, with a racy feel. Wild cherry, strawberry, rose and leafy, woodsy flavors permeate this driving red. The finish is long, but this needs time to shed the tannins. Well-defined from start to finish. Sangiovese, Malvasia Nera and Merlot. Best from 2017 through 2030."

Great new Burgundy in stock now!

We have some great Burgundy in stock now!

2011 Paul Pernot Batard Montrachet...$213.99
Good full medium yellow. Musky aromas of yellow peach, apricot and minerals lifted by a floral topnote. Boasts impressive volume and palate-saturating breadth but comes across as more closed than the Bienvenue in spite of its richness of texture. Finishes very long, though, with lingering notes of spices and smoke. Pernot recommends waiting three years before opening this.

2011 Guy Amiot Chassagne Montrachet Caillerets 1er Cru...$69.99
As is usually the case this is wonderfully elegant with its expressive nose of citrus, wet stone, dried flowers, spice and herbal tea nuances. The silky, cool and sophisticated medium weight flavors ooze a fine minerality that adds a sense of refinement and tension to the intense, very dry and beautifully well-balanced finish that delivers excellent depth and persistence. One to consider.

2011 Guy Amiot Puligny Montrachet Les Demoiselles 1er Cru...$119.99
An overtly floral nose of pungent citrus, honeysuckle, pear, spice and wet stone introduces refined, pure and gorgeously intense flavors that possess fine precision and a lovely sense of vibrancy. There is a restrained mouth feel to the impeccably well-balanced and highly complex finish and this should amply reward medium-term cellaring.

2012 Rapet Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru...$114.99
The broad-shouldered flavors are tightly coiled and highly energetic as this really vibrates in the mouth. There is excellent mid-palate density with an almost pungent minerality that adds a sense of lift to the moderately dry, highly complex and seriously long finish. This will definitely require at least 5 years of bottle age to unwind and flesh out but it should be more than worth the wait as the potential here is striking. Recommended

2012 Francois Lamarche Echezeaux...$186.99
The 2012 Echezeaux Grand Cru comes from the Lamarche family’s 1.32-hectare holding in the lieu-dit “Les Champs Traversins” towards the higher reaches. It has a very refined, complex bouquet with a superb mineral component that is more expressive than the premier crus at the moment. The palate is harmonious and refined with succulent, fleshy ripe red cherry fruit, strawberry and redcurrant that dovetail into a composed, what you might describe as “classic” finish. This self-effacing grand cru is quietly impressive.

2012 Meo Camuzet Camuzet Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru...$293.99

(Very limited)
The 2012 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru, which sees almost 100% new oak, has quite a sensual bouquet underneath that carapace of new oak that is embroidered nicely with the fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent ripe but firm tannins that lend this Clos de Vougeot bewitching symmetry. Silky smooth in texture, it feels long and assertive on the finish, but never over-powering. Excellent
Rated 93-95/100 The Wine Advocate

2012 Meo Camuzet Corton Perrieres Grand Cru...$253.99
The 2012 Corton Perrieres pulses with pure energy and brilliance. Dark red stone fruits, crushed rocks, spices and wild flowers are some of the many notes that meld together in the glass. Though medium in body, the 2012 finishes with substantial understated power and intensity. I wouldn't expect the 2012 to drink at its finest anytime soon. --
