Drunken Sailor is a handcrafted recipe of blended and aged Caribbean rums made from local sugar cane and distilled from molasses. We then mix in our special brew of all natural ingredients like Tahitian Vanilla, cinnamon and secret spices. 92 proof.

New Exclusive Malts

The Exclusive Malts Blended Scotch Whisky 1980...$165.99

35 Year Old Scotch
Distilled in 1980 Aged for a minimum of 35 years in oak casks.
A blend of the finest Speyside and Highland Single malts and single grain whiskies all distilled in 1980 and matured in the finest ex-sherry casks. Non-chill filtered and no coloring added

The Exclusive Malts 1997 Linkwood 18 Year Single Malt Scotch...$129.99

ABV: 46.3%
Linkwood Distillery, based in the town of Elgin in the North East of Scotland, is quite a hard whisky to find. Nearly all of its output is destined for the big blending houses. Whilst this is understandable, as Linkwood Distillery makes a great spirit, it is a shame that more of its aged malt does not find its way into a bottle on its own. This cask demonstrates how great this whisky can be.
Cask type: First Fill Ex-Sherry Hogshead

The Exclusive Malts 1991 Port Dundas 25 Year Old Single Malt...$143.99
ABV: 53.6%
Based just North of the City of Glasgow, Port Dundas Distillery had a long and chequered history (it burned down twice and was bombed once). At its prime the distillery was capable of making 39 million litres of spirit a year but was closed in 2009 due to a surplus in production of grain whisky. The whisky is now highly sought after as when aged properly is quite delicious.
Cask type: Refill Hogshead

The Exclusive Malts 2006 Croftengea 10 Year Old Single Malt...$85.99
Distilled at Loch Lomond
ABV: 55.5%
The whisky is made at the Loch Lomond distillery situated in Alexandria, adjacent to Loch Lomond.
Called Croftengea after one of the islands on Loch Lomond and to remove association of whisky of the same name, this whisky is distilled using heavily peated barley imparting an earthy, smoky style to the spirit.
Cask type: Refill Hogshead

Stone Coffee Milk Stout is back!

Stone Coffee Milk Stout...$9.99 / 6pk
There’s no shortage of talented people at Stone, and each makes their presence known in their own unique way. Brian Gallagher, a brewer who learned the art of fermentation in the UK, used the beer you now hold, a take on a traditional English milk stout, as his vehicle for personal expression. Originally brewed as a limited edition offering at Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens – Liberty Station, this coffee-laced milk stout quickly became a favorite among Gallagher’s peers. Made bittersweet and creamy while remaining smooth and easy-drinking thanks to the addition of milk sugar, it’s clear in one sip why this is a brew we needed to share with fans everywhere.

Stone 5th Anniversary IPA (99/100 RateBeer)
Originally released September 2001. Brewed to celebrate the 5th Anniversary of the Stone Brewing Co. An "amped up" version of Stone IPA with many times the hops and cranked up malt profile.

Stone 10th Anniversary IPA (99/100 RateBeer)
Stone 10th Anniversary IPA harkens back to our earlier Anniversary Ales, with abundant hopping at many stages of the brewing process. Appropriately, the aroma is over-the-top, with pronounced piney and resiny hop flavors combined with tropical fruit esters and more subtle notes of toasted malts and alcohol. Our Stone 10th Anniversary Ale weighs in at 10% alcohol by volume (perfect for a 10th anniversary beer), and has a little more color and malt character than our other IPAs. In addition to using the new Summit hop variety in the brewhouse to provide the powerful bitterness, we went back through our records and found some of our favorite hops over the years, and used them to flavor this brew, including Chinook, Crystal, and large doses of Simcoe in the dry-hop to provide a huge, complex, piney, fruity and floral hop character. This is a colossal beer, big in every sense: hoppy, malty, rich, and strong! Right up our alley.

Stone 15th Anniversary Black IPA (99/100 RateBeer)
In the 15 years since we entered the craft brewing world, change has come not in a straight line, but as an exponential curve. The craft brewing movement has long been called a "revolution." But today the air is so thick with revolution, it’s palpable. No longer is it only an awareness among the faithful; the unconverted are beginning to feel it as well. Denial and ignorance are disappearing in favor of opened eyes, curiosity and the sense that there’s something larger out there. For far too long we have been lied to. For far too long we have been oppressed by the notion that dumbed-down-lowest-common-denominator-mediocrity was all that we could, and should, expect. You might think we’re talking only about the world of brewing, but we’re not. There is a myriad of products out there masquerading as cheeses, coffee, chocolates, breads...hell, there is stuff pretending to be ’food’ that our great grandmothers would not recognize as such. Yet the craft brewing movement, together with the artisanal food movement, is making much progress. Where the industrial companies can’t dismiss or bury us, they are attempting to copy us with cheap facsimiles. Yes, chances are if you are holding this bottle, you understand these things to be true about the world of brewing. You also likely understand the importance of our fight at Stone against accepted ’norms’ over the last 15 years. We believed that America was ready to embrace things made with artistry and passion. You have spoken. Your response has been clear. We are not merely consumers to be spoon-fed whatever commodities need to be unloaded for a profit. We have only just begun to move the needle of this revolution, & mediocrity still reigns. Consider that when you reject dumbed down, industrialized food and drink, you also support craft brewing. The line is nearly seamless; we are fighting the same battle. We will not win in our lifetime, as the powers are too entrenched, and the masses too…fooled. And shackled. However, this is a revolution of ideas and of taste, and we will win. How do you want to be viewed by your children, and your children’s children? As a hero, or as the oppressed? (Those that don’t think they have been oppressed are already lost.) Ultimately, it’s up to you to decide. We hope you’ll stand with us. Strong and unyielding. You are needed. This bottle and its glorious contents are a celebration of you, brothers and sisters, and your importance in this fight. Cheers to all we’ve accomplished together in the past fifteen years, and cheers to the adventure ahead!

Stone 20th Anniversary Citracado IPA

For 20 years our passion for brewing and our obsession with hops have challenged traditional styles and expectations for beer. So it’s only fitting we commemorate this momentous occasion by crafting a liquid ode to bold brewing that satisfies your hop thirst and pays homage to our flagship San Diego brewery, located on Citracado Parkway (which itself pays homage to the citrus and avocado agricultural history of the region).

“Citracado” also teases the two key ingredients of this beer. “Citra” refers both to the juicy gem of a hop and its citrusy (and tropical) aromas and flavors. “Cado” inspired us to utilize wonderful, native avocado flower honey. Combine the two and the result pours like silk and abounds with enough hops to match our excitement for reaching this 20-year milestone. We thank you sincerely for the years of support and pledge that we will, as always, strive to live up to the reasons for your loyalty!

95 and 96 Point Chardonnay, one with bubbles one without!

It's back! The 2014 Hartford Court 4 Hearts Chardonnay is one of the best Russian River Chardonnay's we have tasted in years and the best part is the price. Not often these days you can find a world class Chardonnay for under $50 let alone below $40 if you are buying by the case.

'
2014 Hartford Court Four Hearts Chardonnay $41.99
The 2014 Chardonnay Four Hearts Vineyard is a larger cuvée of 1,285 cases that comes from relatively old vines for Northern California (planted in 1975). The wine is super-opulent, offering terrific honeysuckle, orange marmalade and pineapple notes in a full-bodied, sexy, super-fresh, pure style. This stunning Chardonnay was aged in 43% new French oak and should drink well for 5-6 years.

NV Billecart Salmon Blanc de Blanc....$149.99 / 1.5 liter
When Clement Calleja of Billecart Salmon was in town this past June he could hardly contain his excitement over the Billecart Salmon NV Blanc de Blanc. Clement informed me that while the wine is Non-Vintage the base wine is from the amazing 2008 vintage and it will rival the best Vintage Champagne they have made.  He said he was sorry to inform me that they only had Magnums of this beautiful wine to ship. I told him not to be sorry that Champagne in Magnum is a wonderful idea and to send what he could on the next order. Well the Magnums are here, come and get them!
"Really attractive ripe and pure chardonnay sourced from the Côte de Blancs villages of Avize, Cramant, Chouilly and Mesnil-sur-Oger. This has bright ripe peaches and nectarines in addition to mangoes, lemons and – not to mention some background chalky aromas. The palate's a riot of fleshy and flavorsome chardonnay fruit with a helping of stone fruits and another of green mango flavors and deeper-set citrus zest. Seamless balance flows to the finish. Drink now. Superb!"

Lindemans Cuvee Rene Oude Kriek

Back in stock now, this one sells very well.

Lindemans Cuvee Rene Oude Kriek...$10.99 / 750ml
The History of Oude Kriek Cuvée René
In order to produce Oude Kriek Cuvée René, whole cherries (including pits) ferment in a lambic that is at least six months old in huge 10,000-liter oak barrels called foudres. After six months, this traditional kriek is bottled in corked 750 mL bottles. Oude Kriek Cuvée René is bottle-conditioned: a second fermentation process which, after a few months, will produce the carbon dioxide to which this authentic beer owes its carbonation and distinctive foam head.

Oude Kriek has been brewed by the Lindemans brewery since 1961, renamed Oude Kriek Cuvée René in 2007, and imported into the US in 2016.

The brewers blend aged lambic and younger lambic, to taste, and refermentation occurs in the bottle after capping. It is highly coveted by gourmands in Belgium and in the US who lay it in their cellars, sometimes for years. Lindemans Oude Kriek Cuvée René is authentic "Oude Kriek," every batch blended by hand.
