Mancino very rare aged Vermouth!

800 bottles made of this amazing vermouth!
Mancino Vermouth Vecchio...$179.99 / 750ml
The first aged Italian Vermouth, dark tawny brown, year aged oak aroma, cherry, honey, raisons, quinne, orange zest and liquorice.
Starting its life as the Mancino Rosso Amaranto, this extraordinary vermouth, has been resting in a single Italian Oak barrel for one year, making it the first aged, sweet vermouth.
Its character has gained strengths of old wood, time and additional spice, thus, demanding a little more respect. It has developed a richer, nutty and fruitier nose, with essences of Cherry, Honey, Raisons, dark chocolate and Vanilla. Not losing its original palate, but expanding in flavour and substance, the Mancino Vecchio will deliver a burst of a deeper bitter sweet, aged experience. Treat it as you would an old gentleman.

Hidden Barn Small Batch Series 2

From Jackie Zykan - former master blender at Old Forester!!

Hidden Barn Small Batch Series 2...$67.99
Small Batch Series: 2
  • Batch #1
  • 112 Proof
  • 10 Barrel batch
  • Age: 5-6 years
  • 60% Corn, 35% Rye, 5% Malted Barley
M B Roland, Christian County Kentucky
We opted for a high rye mashbill to showcase the multifaceted contribution this flavorful grain brings to a bourbon recipe. Series Two brings together pot still production and generously high rye mashbill, resulting in a flavorful and complex spirit. Barrels were distilled at M.B. Roland. The mash is fermented for three-four days using Christian County, Kentucky water and industry standard yeast. It is then double pot distilled and collected at 110 proof. The undiluted distillate is then matured in wood-fired Kelvin Cooperage American White Oak barrels. Barrels rest on property, and once matured, are filtered only for sediment before bottling. Located in Pembroke, Kentucky, M.B. Roland was the founding distillery of the Kentucky Bourbon Craft Trail.

Bollinger PN AYC18 Champagne

Bollinger PN AYC18 Champagne....$149.99
PN AYC18 is an assembly of 100% Pinot Noir, predominantly from the Aÿ cru
Based on the 2018 vintage, complemented by reserve wines aged in magnum dating back to 2009, Bollinger's newly released NV Brut Blanc de Noirs PN AYC18 was disgorged this year with six grams per liter dosage. Foregrounding the village of Aÿ, a commune crucial to Bollinger's distinctive style, the wine wafts from the glass with aromas of golden orchard fruit, honeycomb, buttered toast, freshly baked bread and dried white flowers. Medium to full-bodied, pillowy and vinous, with an ample core of fruit that's girdled by lively acids and animated by an elegant pinpoint mousse, this suave, charming Champagne concludes with a chalky finish. This has turned out beautifully.
Rated 94/100 The Wine Advocate

2007 Bollinger R.D. Champagne

The 2007 vintage marks a return to the roots of the R.D. cuvée and its historic label. The original material and legendary font of the 1952 vintage have been restored to the label. It once again shows the date of disgorging. Authenticity, rediscovered.
R.D. -- Recently disgorged
The assembly of this 2007 vintage is composed of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay. It features 91% Grands Crus and 9% Premiers Crus. A total of 14 crus can be find in the blending. The fermentation is entirely in oak barrels. With a very low dosage known as “extra brut”, at just 3 grams per litre.

2007 Bollinger R.D. Champagne...$299.99
What an amazing nose this has, like the smell of a rock pool on a rocky coast, but with so many candied-fruit, spicy and mushroom notes behind that. That fruit is way more expressive on the powerful and structured palate with lime freshness and chalky minerality at the super-long, bone-dry finish. Disgorged 28th May, 2021.
Rated 98/100 James Suckling
Disgorged on July 10, 2020, with three grams per liter dosage, Bollinger's eagerly awaited 2007 Extra-Brut R. D. is beautiful, unwinding in the glass with aromas of crisp orchard fruit, citrus pith and white flowers mingled with hints of honey, orange oil, buttery pastry, English walnuts and delicately spicy bass notes. Full-bodied, vibrant and incisive, it's unusually elegant and structurally fine-boned for what is routinely one of Champagne's more muscular tête de cuvées, with a bright spine of acidity that's cloaked in vibrant, concentrated fruit, complemented by a pearly pinpoint mousse and concluding with an intensely sapid finish. Long and penetrating, this is a tightly coiled R. D. that will reward bottle age.

2012 Gosset Celebris Champagne

Very rare, only made in the greatest of vintages.
Only made 9 times in the past 35 years!

2012 Gosset Celebris Champagne....$216.99
“The 2012 Celebris makes its case as the finest release of the house in recent times, marrying taut and precise Chardonnay (that includes the freshness of cooler crus Cuis and Grauves) with a supporting frame of fragranced Pinot Noir to delicate yet persistently complex effect. Toasted almond, citrus peel and ripe pear are brought forward by sweet, fragrant cherry, strawberry tart and orange blossom notes, the structure narrow but filled out with subtle nougat richness and a powdery, chalky length. A quiet, elegant mousse. Integrated, focused and ageworthy.”
Rated 96/100 Decanter Magazine
"A fresh Champagne, with a fine, lively mousse, this shows a seamlessly knit range of blackberry, grilled macadamia nut and preserved lemon flavors, while a tangy hint of sea salt crackles on the lingering finish."
Rated 93/100 The Wine Spectator

Andremily "White Cuvee" California White Blend

2020 Andremily "White Cuvee" California White Blend...$102.99
Looking first at his white, which is based on 41% Roussanne, 36% Chardonnay, 15% Viognier, and the rest Marsanne, the 2020 White Cuvee has a rocking nose of ripe orange, marmalade, flower oil, honey, and even hints of licorice. A mix of a great Hermitage and a blockbuster Chardonnay from the Russian River, it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a lush, opulent mouthfeel, beautiful balance, and a heck of a finish. This singular, powerful, unctuous white is going to keep for a solid decade.
Rated 97/100 Jeb Dunnuck
The 2020 White Cuvée, bottled on April 9, 2022, and tasted on May 25, 2022, is the very first release of a white wine from Andremily. "I couldn't decide whether to make a Chardonnay or a Rhône," proprietor Jim Binns says. "So, I ended up making a blend." This first iteration is composed of 41% Roussanne, 36% Chardonnay, 15% Viognier and 8% Marsanne. Fruit comes from the Slide Hill Vineyard in Edna Valley and the Stolpman, Duvarita and Zotovich Vineyards in Santa Barbara County. It was fermented entirely in oak, underwent full malolactic conversion and was matured for about 18 months in 60% new and 40% used French barriques. The White Cuvée has intense aromas of baked peaches, beeswax, toast, dried herbs and matchstick and layers of savory nuance that emerge as it airs in the glass. The medium-bodied palate is broad and expansive, with savory flavors, seamless acidity and an oily texture that draws out the perfumed, alluringly herbal finish.

Promontory from HARLAN

From Harlan Estate
2015 Promontory Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend...$833.99
Insane aromas of lavender, blackberries, wet earth and ripe yet fresh fruit. Full body with very deep fruit, pine needles and hints of chocolate and cedar. Very long and wonderfully polished. This has wonderful depth and focus.
Rated 99/100 James Suckling
Deep garnet-purple in color, it has sprung to life since I last tasted it, prancing out of the glass with showy red currant jelly, black cherry compote and warm cassis notes plus hints of cinnamon toast, wilted roses, unsmoked cigars and fragrant earth. Full-bodied, the palate is rich and impactful, featuring layer upon layer of red and black fruits with loads of mineral sparks. The structure is rock-solid with firm, rugged tannins that are beginning to come into line with the flamboyant fruit, finishing with great length and a lively lift.
Rated 98/100 The Wine Advocate
I was lucky enough to be able to taste a small vertical for this report. Starting with the 2015 Estate, this is still youthful and unevolved, but wow, it’s nevertheless a brilliant wine. Gorgeous notes of currants, mulberries, and black cherry fruits as well as lots of tapenade and leafy herb notes define the bouquet, and it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, sweet, polished tannins, and a great finish. It can be enjoyed today but won’t hit prime time for another 3-4 years. It should evolve for decades.
