Dutton Ranch Chardonnay scores 93 and a great price!!

2014 Vermeil Dutton Ranch Chardonnay...$24.98
Suggested retail is $42
"Our Chardonnay is brilliant, clear and straw-colored with subdued scents of lemon and oak as it develops a creamy texture, oily viscosity, rich flavors of vanilla and hints of smoky oak. With proper cellaring, this wine should continue to develop richness for the next three years."
Cellar Selection
Dark gold in color and intensely cradled in oak, this wine maintains a balance of complex, well-defined flavors of honey and apple, with lurking minerality that keeps it fresh and lively. It's lush and yet layered, a complete package. Drink now through 2020.

FUNKY GOLD MOSAIC
Guess what time it (almost) is?
Funky Gold Mosaic time.
We are super excited about this one. Funky Gold Mosaic is a dry-hopped sour ale. We took Prairie Gold (which was already pretty awesome) and dry-hopped it with a huge amount of Mosaic hops. The end results are tropical, sour, and, according to Chase, an all around new beer drinking experience!
We hope you enjoy it!
Cheers.

New St George Bruto Americano Bitters

St. George Bruto Americano...$25.99
THE SPIRIT
Ready for a bigger, better, bitterer bar? Say hello to Bruto Americano! With a bracing dose of bitterness, a bright pop of citrus, and intriguing sylvan notes inspired by distiller Lance Winters’ formative experiences growing up in California in the 1970s, Bruto is a bitter aperitivo liqueur that makes us as proud as it does thirsty.
Bruto is made from a variety of herbs, roots, and other botanicals. Though the exact number of ingredients and formulation are proprietary, we will say that the bitterness comes primarily from gentian root; the citrus notes mostly from California-grown Seville orange; and the woodsy notes from balsam fir andCascara sagrada (bark from the California buckthorn).

THE PROCESS
Some ingredients are hot-steeped, others are cold-infused. The resulting mixture is filtered and then colored in the traditional manner with cochineal to achieve a natural ruby red hue.

THE EXPERIENCE
Vibrant citrus, with notes of cinnamon, sandalwood, and forest on the nose. Initial palate entry is bitter, followed by a woodsy mid-palate and lingering bitter/citrus finish.
Bruto and Soda is a brilliant session drink. Also recommended in a Negroni, Boulevardier, Americano, and in various Spritzes. Check out some of our favorite Bruto recipes here.

ABOUT THE LABEL
Inspired by Italian modernism, the label was a collaboration between master distiller Lance Winters, head distiller Dave Smith, and bartender/graphic designer Brandon Josie.

WHAT THEY'RE SAYING
Decisively woodsy and piney, light and dry with bitterness that lingers in a pleasant way. — San Francisco Chronicle
Your Negronis and Spritzes just got more interesting. — Drink Me

Sublime. — Imbibe

Oskar Blues Priscilla American Wit

Oskar Blues Priscilla American Wit..$8.99

This AmeriCAN take on the Belgian Classic Wit, featuring orange peel and coriander spice emanated from the basement blues music legacy Dave McIntyre (Oskar Blusologist) built at the original Oskar Blues Grill & Brew in Lyons, CO. Some Barrels getting dumped to become their "Small Batch"

One of the rickhouses with about 24,000 barrels stored

Drawing some bourbon from the barrels to taste

This his how you sign a contract in Bourbon Country, right on the barrel.

Was able to convince them to sell us two barrels.  I felt two of the barrels were superior.
They will be bottled in September and delivered to us.

The chosen barrels....
8yr 10 month OESK
9yr 4 month OBSQ

Also visited Jim Beam , did not pick barrels, just a quick tour and lunch before I left.
