Public House now in CANS

Now in CANS!
From Missouri
All nice and fresh!

Public House Revelation Stout...$8.99 / 6pk CANS
Moments of revelation are rare indeed … Lift a glass of this dry stout to your nose and breathe in the decadent aroma of dark chocolate emanating from the creamy off-white to tan-colored head. Take a sip and feel the familiar warmth of roasted coffee that goes down smooth. Notably, we don’t add either of those to this beer. The joy of discovery is unspeakable and often can only be appreciated by one’s “other” senses–a third eye perhaps. Revelation Stout isn’t just allegory. It’s dry—with no coffee or chocolate. Just pure malt….it’s a Revelation.

Public House Elusive IPA...$8.99 / 6pk CANS
There’s no mistaking it for any other style, but we took the road less traveled on this modern American bellwether. In a world loaded with IPAs, it’s difficult to make one that stands out, but ours does for an unexpected reason. Rather than create an IPA that mimics the flavor profile of so many other IPAs out there, we spent six solid months brewing batches of beer with just a single hop in order to truly discover what each varietal lends to the flavor and aroma profiles of our beer. After carefully selecting the ones we found most interesting and delightful, we crafted a recipe that blends six of these hops in just the right amounts and in just the right order. The end result is one of the smoothest tasting IPAs we have ever had the privilege of drinking. We couldn’t be more proud to present it to you. By their very nature, IPAs are a notch above “session” territory and this heady brew is no exception. It comfortably lends itself to introspection and creative breakthroughs. Pour an Elusive IPA and do some real thinking.

Public House Frisco Amber Lager...$8.99 / 6pk CANS
This California Common is named after the steam engine that worked on the Frisco Railroad line that now rests in Rolla, Mo., near our original brewpub. We use a lager yeast and ferment it at a warmer ale temperature to yield a unique flavor and mouthfeel. It’s lightly fruity with interesting toasty and caramel flavors.

Public House Cream Ale...$8.99 / 6pk CANS
While most modern styles of American craft beer originated elsewhere in the world, Cream Ale was born right here at home. We’ve found a lot to like in this golden little beauty: prominent malt notes complimented by a flaked maize aroma that bubbles up through the carbonation, elegantly balanced by noble hops. We think this beer can be summed up in three big words: American. Golden. Original.
Public House Hide and Seek Hefeweizen...$8.99 / 6pk CANS
At Public House, we take our Hefeweizen seriously. Not only do we use traditional ingredients, but our brewers use the traditional, multi-step infusion mash method (adding time and toil to the brew day) which gives the beer the appropriate body without cloying sweetness. Pale, spicy, and fruity, our Hefeweizen is medium-bodied with a fluffy, creamy fullness that comes directly from the wheat. Subtle flavors and aromas of banana, clove, and even bubblegum–all naturally imparted by the yeast–are balanced by slightly tart and citrusy noble hops. Do we really need to keep going here? If you don’t want one by now, you might want to check your pulse.

The Rare Barrel Apropos of Nothing
Golden Sour Beer Aged in Oak Barrels with Elderberries and Lavender
Bronze Medal at 2015 Great American Beer Festival®, American-Style Sour Ale
Sometimes, the most delightful results are prompted by whimsy. Born from an impromptu blending session, Apropos of Nothing is a golden sour beer fermented in oak and aged with elderberries and lavender. In turn, this beer highlights the unique characteristics of both the fruit and flower. With hints of blackberry, lemon, and honey, this lightly tart sour beer is a jammy and refreshing beverage.

2018 Massican

2018 Massican
I first tasted the Massican wines last year and was hugely impressed with the 2017 line up. A few weeks back I was able to taste through the 2018's and winemaker Dan Petroski has hit it out of the park. Dan's day job is winemaker at Larkmead whose wines are deserving of their own email, but it is his passion project Massican Wines that truly impressed me.

2018 Massican Annia White Blend....$29.99
Made from 48% Tocai Friulano, 41% Ribolla Gialla and 11% Chardonnay, this is fresh and floral in tones of lemon rind, white flower and green apple. Fermented in both French oak and stainless steel, it is structured yet vibrant, gorgeously aromatic and remarkably long-lasting on the palate.
Rated 97/100 The Wine Enthusiast

2018 Massican Gemina White Blend....$29.99
Gemina is 69% Pinot Grigio and 31% Greco, from two vineyards, one in St. Helena and the other in Santa Rosa. With the goal of showcasing both northern and southern Italian inspiration, it deals in fresh lemon peel, white flower and gravelly texture, while being well structured and enduringly fresh. This is a truly lovely, revelatory wine.
Rated 96/100 The Wine Enthusiast

2018 Massican Sauvignon Blanc....$31.99
For his own label, Larkmead winemaker Dan Petroski looks to northern Italy for inspiration, sourcing from Napa Valley vineyards he admires (ones with the warmest days and coolest nights) to produce this 100% varietal beauty. Robustly fruity and flinty, it shows apricot, lemongrass, wet stone and wraparound acidity that buzzes in freshness.

Wolfburn Morven Lightly Peated Single Malt Scotch...$57.99
This lightly peated whisky is made from malted barley infused with smoke during the drying process.
