Hampden Pagos is the fruit of partnerships created with two famous Bodegas in Jerez: Lustau and Fundador. Several casks have been transferred from the Andalusian cellars to those of Hampden Estate, to age the distillery’s rums. The first edition of Pagos was a blend of rums aged in ex-Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez casks from Lustau. This third batch of Hampden Pagos is the result of a blend of 16 casks from Bodegas Fundador that have previously contained Oloroso for up to thirty years, and have been filled with Hampden’s emblematic HLCF mark (Hampden Light Continental Flavoured). This version has an ester content of 374.1 gr/HLPA. To enhance the perfect synergy between the Sherry and the high ester content of Hampden Estate, Pagos has been bottled at 52%.
