Ransom The Emerald

Very limited release
Ransom The Emerald 1865 American Whiskey...$79.99
Straight American Whiskey
Thanks to colorful folklore passed down through the generations, we know that the whiskies made in Ireland today little resemble their 19th century predecessors. Trouble was, there was none of the traditional whiskey left to taste in our quest to recreate the long lost gems of the Emerald Isle. Fortune gave us two good turns; a British excise agent who recorded an Irish mash bill in 1865, and our friend David Wondrich, who found said recipe poring over the microfiche annals of history and passed it along to us. With this mash bill as our guide, we set out to create our own interpretation of a traditional whiskey of Ireland. To call our version modern might be a stretch— We grow a percentage of the barley organically on our farm, our grains are milled, mashed and fermented in small batches at our distillery and farm in the emerald hills of Sheridan, Oregon, and we distill according to our senses in our handmade, direct-‐fired alembic pot still. The Emerald matures in a mix of French and American oak for three years, and is hand bottled, capsuled, and labeled. The result is a highly aromatic spirit with the weight, richness, and complexity of its forebears.

Surly Brewing

First week of March we are expecting
some Surly BARREL AGED Darkness!

We are told the allocation will be tiny so we will release it through the BRC based on Surly purchases for the last 6 months up until a few days before the release in March (that date to be determined)

We are also expecting a new Surly 12 pack variety tomorrow with two nw beers in it!

Surly Brewing One Man Mosh Pit Hazy IPA...$13.99 / 4pk 16oz cans
An absurd dose of Amarillo, Citra, and Mosaic dry-hopping hoists this IPA above the fray. Juicy and hazy, it’s the perfect soundtrack to the music in your head. Running in a circle and shoving yourself optional.

Surly Brewing Frost Pack...$15.99 / 12pk
  • Surly Xtra Citra Pale Ale
  • Surly Furious IPA
  • Surly Dark Phase Stout
  • Surly Liquid Stardust Sparkling IPA

Surly Brewing Coffee Bender...$8.99 / 4pk 16oz cans
Guatemalan coffee, roasted locally, added to Bender, our oatmeal brown ale. Coldpress coffee aromas, intense coffee flavors balanced by the oats in the malt bill, resulting in a cappuccino-like creaminess.

Surly Brewing Furious IPA...$9.99 / 6pk cans
Surly is called “Surly” due to our inability to find a good beer in town. Furious is one of the first beers we brewed to rectify that situation. The rest is history.
People ask us to describe Furious all the time. It’s not quite like any other IPA out there. We give them the flavor notes and the hop profile, but it never seems like it’s enough. What makes Furious Furious? Let’s try this: You know that feeling when you do something that pushes you to your absolute limit? And people think you’re a little off your nut for even doing it? And you kind of agree with them, but goddammit, it’s getting done? And then you fucking DO IT? And there’s no one there to see it but you and the dog so you high-five the dog?
That’s Furious.

Surly Brewing Xtra Citra Pale Ale....$7.99 / 6pk

Bursting with Citra hop flavor and tropical, citrusy notes, this sessionable pale ale showcases Surly’s bright side.
It’s called Xtra-Citra because we had extra Citra hops in the brewhouse. We made a beer with them for a one-time seasonal beer. The overwhelmingly positive response to this sessionable stunner soon made it a year-round favorite.
No, we don’t know where the “e” went.

Surly Brewing The Axeman IPA...$13.99 / 4pk 16oz cans
Double dry-hopping with Citra and Mosaic hops creates intense tropical fruit and citrus aromas. Brewed with Golden Promise malt and just a hint of haze, this beer finishes rich and dry.
Not quite a West Coast IPA, not quite a NE IPA. It was first brewed in collaboration with Amager Brewery in Denmark. Brewed with one malt, Golden Promise from the UK, with Citra and Mosaic hops. Named by Amager’s marketing director Henrik Papsø.

Liber and Co.

The 80s and 90s were the dark ages of cocktails. Appletinis and fluorescent-colored shots ruled the day and well-made classics were hard to find. Thankfully, we’re now in the middle of a food and drink renaissance and today’s cocktail culture has reclaimed the art of drinking well.
Over the last decade, quality and attention to detail have driven this return to craft, and distilleries have produced exceptional spirits and liqueurs to help raise the bar. Bitters have exploded from two old standards to dozens of quality producers, and freshly juiced citrus has become the only acceptable offering in any bar worth its drink. Behind it all, devoted bartenders have worked tirelessly to reestablish the craft of the cocktail.
On the whole, we are all drinking better now than ever, and we have superior bartenders and ingredients to thank for this.

In 2011, we noticed that something was missing. While high-end spirits, liqueurs and bitters meant that everyone could obtain most of what's needed to make better cocktails, there was still a problem for the discerning drinker. An entire ingredient category remained overlooked. No one offered quality cocktail syrups – the essentials required for hundreds of great drinks. Instead, artificially flavored corn syrups were peddled as substitutes, and anyone seeking an authentic drink was left wanting.

We started Liber & Co. to fill this void. We aim to complete your bar so that you can enjoy dozens of excellent cocktails.

Liber & Co. Demerara Gum Syrup...$7.99 / 9.5oz
More than just a raw sugar syrup, Demerara Gum Syrup delivers incredible depth of flavor. Demerara cane sugar is unrefined, and you’ll find that its distinct molasses note perfectly complements rum and barrel-aged spirits of all kinds. Just like our Classic Gum Syrup, gum arabic gives the syrup a silky texture to create a more luxuriant drink.

Liber & Co Tonic Syrup...$11.99 / 17oz
Our Premium Tonic Syrup is a refreshing, boldly flavored tonic made to enhance the classic gin and tonic.

Superior ingredients including natural quinine, zesty citrus and pure cane sugar are selected to perfectly complement your premium gin or vodka.
Premium Tonic Syrup is an uncarbonated concentrate. Top with club soda for a superior tonic water, or go beyond the G & T by using the tonic syrup in novel cocktails.

Liber & Co. Classic Gum Syrup...$7.99 / 9.5oz
Gum syrup has long been a staple ingredient in the world’s best cocktail bars. Gum syrup is a simple syrup combined with gum arabic, an all-natural emulsifier derived from African acacia trees. The addition of gum arabic lends the syrup a silky and more luxuriant mouthfeel when compared to a common simple syrup. It is a superior sweetener with incredible versatility. Our Classic Gum Syrup is a rich 2:1 simple syrup, meaning a little goes a long way. Try it in classics like the Old Fashioned or Sazerac, or with iced tea, coffee, or lemonade.

Liber & Co. Orgeat Syrup...$7.99 / 9.5oz
Orgeat is a must have for any cocktail fan! Liber & Co. orgeat begins with organic almonds that are blanched and roasted to bring out their toasted nut flavors. After grinding the roasted almonds into a perfectly smooth butter, we blend in cane sugar, orange blossom water and a touch of bitter almond oil for a distinct marzipan note. This is complex orgeat whose full almond character makes it indispensable at any well-stocked bar. The iconic orgeat cocktail is the Mai Tai.

Liber & Co. Real Grenadine....$7.99 / 8.5oz
Originally, grenadine was a pomegranate syrup used in drinks for it's tart, sweet flavor and intense red color. Today's mass produced grenadines are just high fructose corn syrup with artificial colors and flavors. Our Real Grenadine stands tastefully apart - authentic in its ingredients and unrivaled in its flavor. Our cold-processing retains the fruits naturally fresh flavors and rich color. Pure cane sugar and orange blossom water lend this syrup great balance and an elegant floral aroma. Try it in classics like the Jack Rose or Tequila Sunrise.

2016 Pegau Cuvee de Capo Chateauneuf du Pape

A Perfect Wine!!!

2016 Pegau Cuvee de Capo Chateauneuf du Pape...$399.98
I was also able to taste the 2016 Châteauneuf Du Pape Cuvée Da Capo, which comes mostly from older vines in the La Crau lieu-dit and spends an additional year in a large foudre. The 2016 vintage was truly magical for the region, and this Cuvée Da Capo is unquestionably one of the finest vintages for this cuvée ever made, in the same league as, if not surpassing, the 1998, 2003, 2007, and 2010. Sensational notes of cured meats, crème de cassis, crushed violets, ground pepper, tapenade, truffle, and sweet herbes de Provence all soar from the glass and it hits the palate with a massive, full-bodied style that stays seamless, weightless, and as pure as they come. Traditional, classic Châteauneuf Du Pape doesn’t get better. I hate to be the guy who throws out the “best to date” line very often, but this is truly magical stuff.
Rated 100/100 Jeb Dunnuck

As impressive as the Cuvée Réservée is, the 2016 Châteauneuf du Pape Cuvée da Capo brings an extralevel of intensity. Turn that volume up to 11 or even 12. Waves of black cherries, plums and chocolate wash across the full-bodied, velvety palate, lingering nearly forever on the finish. As big and bold as it is, it remains breathtakingly elegant and fine.
It should evolve gracefully through at least 2040.
Rated 99/100 Wine Advocate
