FLAVOR NOTES
Classic, with caramel on the nose, vanilla and spice on the palate, and a creamy finish. A splash of water introduces a plethora of tropical fruits to the nose while the syrupy palate displays a range of rich liqueurs.
Neat
Appearance: Chestnut brown.
Nose: A classic bourbon opening of brioche and caramel. Added to that is a woodsy underpinning of sandalwood and a wisp of smoke. It evolves through a range of sweets: amaretto, coconut macaroons, and cream soda. Gooseberry, quince, and lime cordial add a bit of lift. A range of mineral notes round it out with flint, limestone, and beeswax.
Palate: Though cask strength, the heat is kept in check by syrupy oak sugars. Black cherry soda and roasted molé take center stage. Vanilla is notably strong here and joined by fellow oak spices nutmeg, cardamom, and aniseed. The oak is well balanced by herbaceous rye notes along with rose hip, wormwood, and peppercorn.
Finish: Candied chili pepper and preserved lemon flash across the Horchata takes over as a creaminess builds, adding white chocolate, and cashew. As the flavors slowly fade, a waxiness lingers on.
With a few drops of spring water
Passionfruit, mango lassi, and ripe banana herald a broad range of tropical fruits. Meanwhile a leafy side expands, exhibiting cigar, tarragon, and peppermint. A rich sweetness overwhelms the palate, converting every note to its liqueur form: limoncello, maraschino, anisette and creme de menthe.

The fresh oak has deeply etched its character on the spirit with savory and spicy aromas of roasted sweet chestnut, marron glacĂ©, licorice, pecan, and treacle, followed by a deliciously yielding palate of black fruits, forest honey, clove, cola, and Brazil nut. —Jonny McCormick

Catena Zapata Adriana Vineyard White Bones Chardonnay

2020 Catena Zapata Adriana Vineyard White Bones Chardonnay...$134.99
The nose of the 2020 White Bones Chardonnay is an explosion of thyme and rockrose, aromatic, open, expressive, outspoken, showy and exuberant. It also has notes of white flowers and citrus, pine needles and incense, continuously developing new layers, curry, something smoky, more and more aromatic herbs, nuanced, complex and with a magnetic attraction that makes you go back to the glass over and over again. This was harvested all at the same time, whereas it was sometimes harvested over four different moments in the past; so this is a bit different and an extraordinary year for this wine, transcending the conditions of the year, with lower alcohol and pH (12.5% and 3.1) than the 2021, despite coming from a warmer year. This is very tasty and long, stony (more than White Stones!) and very persistent. Amazing juice! 5,760 bottles produced.
Rated 99/100 The Wine Advocate
Fascinating nose of white lavender, lemon, pineapple, green apple, thyme, rosemary, sourdough, almond and oyster shell. It’s medium-bodied with vibrant acidity and a tense, spicy palate. So much flavor and fragrance. Incredibly expressive, with evolving layers of fresh fruit, spices, flowers and herbs. Drink or hold.
Rated 99/100 James Suckling
Wildly expressive and distinctive, showing off a range of sage, savory and chive blossom aromas and flavors that join a vibrant core of grapefruit and white peach, with details of citrus-marinated Picholine olive and river stone weaving in and out. Beautifully elegant and complex, with great length on the crisp finish, where hints of crème fraîche chime in. Drink now through 2032. 480 cases made, 225 cases imported.
Rated 95/100 The Wine Spectator

Off Color Brewing Beer For Hoops Cream Ale & Beer For Bowling English-Style Session Ale

Off Color Beer for Hoops...$10.99 / 4pk 16oz cans
BEER FOR HOOPS
TASTING NOTES

Inspired by the peach basket used as a hoop in the first ever game of basketball, our cream ale gets a healthy dose of fruit flavor from peach puree and additional sweetness from vanilla along with sweet stone fruit notes from hot side hop additions.
SECRET TECHNIQUES
All our fruit puree is pasteurized through direct steam addition from a steam generator at the brewery. This technique heats the puree to kill any microbes in the fruit but not high enough to volatilize the fruit character.
INGREDIENTS
2-Row, Flaked Barley, Caramel Malt, Dextrin Malt, Flaked Oats, Nugget hops, Grungeist Hops, Lotus Hops, Peach Puree, Vanilla Extract, Kolsch yeast, water

Off Color Beer for Bowling...$9.99 / 4pk 16oz cans
BEER FOR BOWLING®
TASTING NOTES

Few things are more British than session beers. One of those things may be the game of bowling which has been enjoyed in Britain since the 13th century. This otherwise traditional British style session beer gets increased complexity and mouthfeel from boiling white pine bark and maple wood to complement caramel and light roast malt notes.
SECRET TECHNIQUES
Adding pine bark and maple wood in the boil infuses wood tannins into the final beer adding a layer of texture often lacking in session beers. Mouthfeel in low gravity beer often lacks compared to its regular or high-gravity relatives due to a variety of reasons from lower yeast esters to lower malt carbohydrates. Increasing tannins give the beer more depth and bite.
INGREDIENTS
Mild Malt, Crystal Malt, Flaked Barley, Roasted Barley, Nugget hops, Toasted Maple Wood, White Pine Bark, Water

Nobletons Le Bon Liqueur d'Agrumes

An amazing new "Curacao" liqueur
Locally made!!!
Nobletons Le Bon Liqueur d'Agrumes Orange Liqueur....$26.99
When we met with Demetrius Cain of Nobleton's Distilling House at his distillery about a month ago, he gave us a preview taste of this amazing new liqueur. It is a Satsuma Mandarin orange liqueur that is made from a very old family recipe. He was telling us about his "family crest" which you see on the label-- an alligator with a snake tail. Every one in attendance at the distillery was asking when can we get it! It arrived a few days ago, but just getting it posted now. He was telling how he stuffs the Satsuma Mandarin's in the barrel with the base spirit to age it all together!

Make sure you check out the Le Bon Margarita recipe on the bottle!
