New Vermouth!

Tempus Fugit Alessio Vermouth Chinato...$24.99 / 750ml
Alessio Vermouth Chinato is also based on a classic recipe from the late 19th century combined with the additional bittering of Cinchona bark and more than 25 other balancing herbs, including Grande and Petite Wormwood, and reflects an almost-lost style of bitter vermouth. The slightly lower ABV than the Vermouth di Torino Rosso helps highlight this Chinato vermouth's backbone and aromatics, making it a complex alternative to sweet vermouth in cocktails as well as excellent on its own. 16.5% ABV

Tempus Fugit Alessio Vermouth di Torino Rosso...$22.99
Based on a classic di Torino recipe from the late 19th century, Alessio Vermouth di Torino Rosso is designed to be enjoyed as what was commonly called a "Vino di Lusso" (luxury wine), a wine thoroughly consumed on its own. Created with a fine Piedmont wine as the base, this authentic Vermouth di Torino contains both Grande and Petite Wormwood, along with over 25 other pharmaceutical-grade herbs, roots and spices. As a result, this vermouth offers a full mouth-feel that contributes weight to a cocktail, and lightly bitter but bright, refreshing citrus and herbal notes that lengthen the finish. 17% ABV

Great Dessert wine! 94 Points!

2001 Domaine de Rancy Rivesaltes Ambre....$29.99 / 500ml
The 2001 Rivesaltes Ambré is a classic effort that offers terrific notes of toffee, sweet caramel and dried fruits. Made with mostly Macabeu, yet with 5-10% Grenache, aged 13 years in old foudre, it’s gorgeously balanced, seamless and elegant, with perfect integration of its alcohol and sweetness. I’m sure it will continue to evolve nicely, but I see no reason to hold off either.
I loved these latest fortified efforts from Domaine Rancy

Jean Louis Denois Rose Sparkling

Back in stock, one of our favorite Rose Sparklers....

Jean Louis Denois Rose Sparkling...$21.99
This wine is a rosé de presse, where the red grapes are pressed just until the right amount of color is extracted. This technique lends itself to producing serious, structured sparkling rosés.
This is a very sophisticated, structured, and complex sparkling rosé. The quality of this wine greatly exceeds what many people would expect from this region, which is better known for its large volumes of bulk sparkling wine. Denois’ Pinot Noir Brut Rosé is pale pink in color, with very fine bubbles. This wine is densely packed with strawberry and cherry fruit flavors, with hints of almond and marzipan. The finish is bright
and crisp. Ideal as an aperitif, this wine is also well suited to foods like tuna, salmon, and roast pork loin.

New Limited Italians!

Not much info online about these two...

Il Mastio Ottanta ITPA....$9.99 / 750ml
Italian Pale Ale
An intence copper coloured amber beer with a fine and persistent foam.  this ale is brewed with pure barley malt.  The flavour is dominated by the aroma of noble hops, but the taste is well balanced with select caramel notes.   A beer with character and good personality.

Il Mastio Novanta Italian Pale Ale...$9.99 / 750ml
Beer Pale Ale inspired Americana, from the blond-golden color with fine foam and very persistent.   The nose floral bouquet given by hopping cold makes Rifle beer fascinating and enjoyable. On the palate it feels a mild nutty taste, but to prevail is a bitter clean, toned and never annoying. Notes clotted dates from American hops making this beer very refreshing and pleasant.
Serving suggestions:
It goes well with appetizers or tasty bruschetta, pasta with asparagus or bitter vegetables, meats strong flavors. After the meal served with strawberries and balsamic vinegar glaze.

Boulevard Funky Pumpkin

Boulevard Funky Pumpkin...$8.99 / 6pk
Style: Spiced Sour Ale
Our entry in the very popular pumpkin ale market is an eccentric one, with pumpkin flavor scarcely present, upstaged by cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg and ginger. A pleasant tartness prevails, with barrel aging providing a mellow roundness, and Brettanomyces putting the "unk" in Funky.

Heering Coffee Liqueur

New coffee version....
Heering Coffee Liqueur...$27.99
HEERING COFFEE liqueur is made from a recipe using only natural ingredients and with no additives or artificial colouring. The base is a smooth blend of Caribbean rum, coffee and cacao. HEERING COFFEE liqueur can be enjoyed after dinner as a digestive but it is also excellent as a base for cocktails and long drinks.

Rogue Dead Guy "Glow in the dark" Bottle

Founders reDANKulous Imperial Red IPA...$8.99/ 750ml
We plan to release reDANKulous Imperial Red IPA in August 2015 to mark the thirteenth installment in our popular Backstage Series. Like all Backstage Series beers, reDANKulous will be sold in 750mL bottles, and it will have a suggested retail price of $9.99 per bottle.

reDANKulous Imperial Red IPA is a no frills, bold 9.5% ABV India Pale Ale. It pours a pleasing burnt amber with some sweetness due to the Caramalt and roasted barley used in the malt bill. But hops are the true headliner in this elaborate sensory experience. The spicy, piney, tropical complexities of Chinook, Mosaic and Simcoe hops hit you right away with their dank aroma—and they stick around. Take a sip to have your palate simultaneously walloped and caressed in all the right places. Combined, the hops take the beer to 90 IBUs. It’s not just ridiculous. It’s reDANKulous.

“We love hops,” said Co-Founder and President Dave Engbers. “Simple as that. Our brewers love to experiment with new varieties, new combinations and new techniques. This dank beer is a fun, intense showcase of hops. We hope all of you hop heads out there enjoy it.”

New Belgium Pumpkick

New Belgium Pumpkick...$8.49 / 6pk
What’s that bite of tartness doing in a pumpkin beer? Adding the unexpected kick of cranberry juice to brighten this traditionally spiced seasonal ale. Pumpkick is brewed with plenty of pumpkin juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice, but it's the cranberries and touch of lemongrass that send your taste buds sailing.

Tomatin Cuatro Series

LIMITED EDITION: CUATRO SERIES
46% alc./vol. Non chill filtered

The Tomatin Cuatro Series presents four unique limited edition expressions of Tomatin Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
All distilled on the same day, the whisky was matured for nine years in traditional American Oak casks and was then transferred to four different types of Sherry butts for a period of over three years. As a result each of the four expressions have developed their own unique characteristics. The range includes: Fino, Manzanilla, Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez.

With its Spanish sherry inspiration, the name “Cuatro” is fitting as the Spanish word for “four”.

Tomatin Cuatro Fino Sherry Finished 12 Year Old Scotch....$69.99
Aroma: Green apples with a citrus burst of orange and lime. Pear, sweet nuts and coconut, custard and marzipan.
Palate: Savoury and spicy on the palate with a zesty bitterness.
Finish: Light and subtle.

Tomatin Cuatro Manzanilla Sherry Finished 12 Year Old Scotch...$69.99
Aroma: Chewy vanilla marshmallows, rich dried dates, crunchy pears and lemons. Reminiscent of haystacks.

Tomatin Cuatro Oloroso Sherry Finished 12 Year Old Scotch...$69.99

Tomatin Cuatro Pedro Ximinex Sherry Finished 12 year Old Scotch...$69.99
Aroma:  boiled sweets, Dried prunes, dates and apricots, almonds, liquorice, crème brûlée.
Palate:  Full bodied with peppery spice, Oolong tea, liquorice. Light and oily.
Finish: Gingery spiciness.

95 Point Black Slate!

Consistently one of the best Priorat's every year!  One of our favorites and the new one does not disappoint!!

2013 Mas d'en Compte Black Slate Porrera...$17.99
Another of the single-sector Priorat wines from importer Eric Solomon, the 2013 Mas d’en Compte is a blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Carignan aged in a combination of concrete tanks. Large wood foudres and smaller French oak barrels. The wine offers loads of licorice and black raspberries and seems to represent the quintessential style of Priorat in its opulence – floral, blueberry and black raspberry fruit, intense minerality and silky, lush tannins. This medium to full-bodied wine should continue to drink well for another 5-8 years, possibly longer.

FREESTYLE PILSNER

Santa Fe Freestyle Pilsner....$3.99 / 6pk Cans
As its name suggests, this Pilsner does not like to be categorized. Inquiring whether it is a German, Czech, Bavarian, American, or any other style pilsner will result in an impatient sigh and the explanation that the whole philosophy behind this pilsner is that it does not fall into any categories. True, it is brewed with traditional ingredients (soft water, pilsner malt, saaz hops, and German yeast), but it is the way that these ingredients interact, and the characteristics of the yeast, that cause this particular pilsner to defiantly stand alone. The assertively hopped Freestyle pils exudes the flavor and the aroma of the classic Saaz hop (a tribute to “the original” pilsner), while maintaining enough body to balance but not overpower this hop’s pleasant, spicy tone. An unhurried lagering process so frequently overlooked by American craft brewers is strictly adhered to in the production of Freestyle, which makes this beer by far the most light, clean, and quenching beer in the Santa Fe Brewing Company’s line up.

Nikka Whiksy Pure Malt

Nikka Whisky Pure Malt...$59.99
Malt whisky is distilled exclusively from barley malt, and is considered to be the forefather of all other types of whisky. In general, it is divided into single malt whisky (several malt whiskies from a single distillery vatted together) and pure malt whisky (malt whisky from several distilleries vatted together).

Pumking 4 packs are back!

Remelluri Rioja is back!

2009 Remelluri Rioja Reserva....$33.99
The 2009 Remelluri Reserva aims at showing the character of Remelluri, as this is the first modern vintage that does not have grapes purchased from external suppliers. These grapes are now in the Lindes range of wines, but in the past they were blended with the estate grapes. The cool Remelluri vineyards behave very well in warmer years. This 2009 is very clean with predominant aromas of earthy red fruit intermixed with notes of vanilla and cinnamon, a satin texture with round, fine-grained tannins and quite classical and very well-proportioned style. This is a great vintage for Remelluri Reserva.

The Remelluri name should be well-known to our readers. The big news here was the return of Telmo Rodriguez, who left the family winery to start his own projects throughout Spain, but returned in February 2010. Many changes have been made, and more will come. For example, he’s starting a solera with Viura, blending different vintages, in a kind of homage to old white Riojas. To start, he’s clearly separating the wines produced with the estate grapes and those produced with grapes purchased from external suppliers, for which he has created the line Lindes de Remelluri (Remelluri borders). He’s also implementing biodynamic practices in the vineyards.
