Hush Heath Estate - English Sparkling

Hush Heath Estate Balfour 1503 Classic Cuvee English Sparkling Wine...$39.99
‘1503’ label, a reference to the date when Hush Heat estate’s historic manor house was built. Made from the property’s younger vineyards and with a slightly higher dosage than the original Balfour wines, these offer a very approachable yet still refined English fizz experience.

After harvest in mid- to late October, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel and cuvées are blended with youthful freshness in mind. Malolactic fermentation helps create a softer, more approachable style. Secondary fermentation in bottle is followed by at least 12 months on lees prior to disgorgement with a ten degree dosage addition.
Production: 3,300 cases

Hush Heath Estate Balfour Brut Rose 2013...$55.99
The exciting thing about vintage wines such as Balfour is the way the wines reveal the characteristics of each English summer.
2013 was an unusually late harvest as we waited patiently for the best balance of sugars and acid in our grapes. Picking began with the Pinot Noir on 22nd October and the final batch of Chardonnay came in on the 7th November.
Pinot Noir - 44%
Chardonnay - 48%
Pinot Meunier - 8%

Ommegang Collab with Liefmans

Ommegang Collab with Liefmans Brunetta Oud Bruin Ale...$11.99
Brunetta is a 5% ABV traditional Oud Bruin, or sour brown ale, developed by our brewmaster Phil Leinhart, and the master blenders at our sister brewery, Liefmans, in Oudenaarde, Belgium. Liefmans has been perfecting their blending techniques for more than 300 years, and is renowned for their clean and balanced sour beers.

The Oud Bruin style is known for its playful flirtation between sweet and sour flavors and Brunetta is no exception. “Brunetta is a mild, clean Oud Bruin, well-balanced and with a touch of caramel sweetness from the specialty malts,” says Phil. “It’s been a privilege to brew with Marc Coesens and his talented team at Liefmans. The opportunity to work with our beer brethren is always such an honor.”

Brunetta pours a deep amber-brown with clarity and a tan head with light retention. Aromas of raisin, prune, and sweet malts are followed by subtle hints of lactic sourness. The balanced sweet and sour flavor leads with caramel malt and finishes with a clean, refreshing sourness. Brunetta is medium bodied and moderately dry with a pleasant nutty flavor in the finish.

Brewed with a traditional blend of pilsner, amber, and caramel malts and with minimal hopping, Brunetta’s mixed culture fermentation begins in Liefmans’ open copper vats and continues in stainless tanks for four to eight months. This Oud Bruin’s balanced acidity is a perfect accompaniment to rich dishes like duck confit, chicken liver pâtĂ©, all manner of mild cheeses, and NY-style cheese cakes and other mildly sweet desserts.

Celt Cider Breton

Cider has sparkled in Brittany since the Iron Age, when Gaul warriors roamed the ancient land named “Armor” or “Country-by-the-Sea.” They worshiped the sun, the moon and the stars and feared nothing but the sky falling on them. Celt cider is named after these proud and fearless warriors who lived in the six Celtic nations known as the “Celtic Crescent”: Brittany, Cornwall, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Isle of Man. This is a refreshing “demi sec” cider with a fruity flavor balanced by a crisp dry finish made from the finest apples in Brittany. Authentic and traditionally made hard cider imported from Brittany. 4.5% ABV,

Jefferson's Grand Selection Chateau Suduiraut Sauternes

Jefferson's Grand Selection Chateau Suduiraut Sauternes Cask Bourbon...$114.99
Thomas Jefferson was America's first ambassador to France and, while there, fell in love with the finest wines of Bordeaux.  One of his favorites, listed on a 1787 inventory manifest, is Chateau Suduiraut, which he called President du Roy," an exceptional Sauternes.
Based on our experience finishing Jefferson's in creative ways and in various types of casks, we felt strongly that extra aging our Jefferson's Reserve in Chateau Suduiraut oak wine casks would complement our well-aged, complex Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey.  We were not disappointed.
After hand selecting forty Suduiraut barrels, refilling them with Jefferson's Reserve Bourbon and extra aging them in our proprietary hot box environment have created a unique whiskey that marries the crisp citrus notes of the Sauternes, the vanilla and honey from both the American and French oak and the leather and toffee flavors from our bourbon in a complex and balanced final product.

New beers from The Bruery

Funky Buddha Collab!
The Bruery Guava Libre!...$12.99 / 750ml

This sensory getaway transports you to a corner bodega with our friends at Funky Buddha in South Florida to recreate the flavors you’d find in a Cuban guava pastry. Championing the big, bold flavors that both of our breweries are known for, we brewed an imperial cream ale, adding lactose and vanilla to impart sweet, custard-like ribbons, and guava for filling its conceptual authenticity. It’s a collaboration that’s equal parts inspiration and admiration.

The Bruery Saule Barrel Aged....$24.99
Saule is French for “willow”, a traditional nine-year anniversary gift. Our ninth anniversary ale, Saule, follows in the footsteps of our anniversary releases before it, which are loosely based on an English-style old ale, fermented with our house yeast strain, aged in bourbon barrels and blended using the solera method. This means that a portion of each anniversary ale is saved in oak barrels and blended in with the next year’s production, providing more complexity and depth of character as the years go by. The result is layered in robust and complex flavors of toffee, caramel, dark fruit, vanilla and oak.

The Bruery Terreux Sans Pagaie....$18.99
Sans Pagaie is our take on the Belgian-style kriek, which is a traditional, sour blonde ale aged in oak barrels with cherries. The word “kriek” actually translates to “cherry” in the Flemish language. Sans Pagaie, our clever moniker for this beer, translates from French to “without a paddle” (see what we did there? Kriek…”without a paddle”… hello, anyone out there?). The base beer has a subtle funk, which melds gently with the fruit giving this beer flavors reminiscent of coconut, vanilla yogurt and, of course, fresh cherries. A complex beer, perfect for a sunny day in the park with a slice of homemade cheesecake.

The Bruery Terreux Goses are Red....$7.49
This is a rosĂ© – and a gose – by any other name. Goses are Red is a stylish match of a funky, crisp and tart gose with the soft sweetness of a rosĂ© wine. The refreshing wheat-based beer begins with some of the qualities you’d expect from a gose, including coriander spicing and a light saltiness to complement the tartness imparted by our house cultures. But the story doesn’t end there – it builds in complexity, thanks to time spent in an oak foeder and the addition of grapes, which impart a refreshing rosĂ© character and color. It’s a charming interpretation that says all the right things, but it’s not as sweet as you.

The Bruery Terreux Frucht Passionfruit...$9.99
Welcome to Frucht, our land of fruited Berliner Weisse-style beers. Known for a tart flavor profile and traditionally low ABV, our German-style wheat beer gains even more funky notes and natural earthy-woodiness from fermentation in one of our twin oak foeder vessels – the largest known to be fabricated in this country. Each installment in the series features a new fruit, or Frucht, if we’re Sprechen sie Deutsch. Each installment in the series will feature a new fruit, or Frucht, if we’re Sprechen sie Deutsch. This installment has passion fruit added, which escalates the tartness, tropicality and palate-cleansing prowess of the base beer. Prost!
