Pale straw with a green tint. A gorgeous, expressive nose of lemon juice, lime skin, passionfruit and wet slate introduces this wine. The palate positively sings, with delicate flesh draped across the lively and invigorating acidity. The finish starts strong and continues to build for quite some time. This wine is a star. 58 grams per liter residual sugar.

2014 Boundary Breaks Riesling #239...$15.99
Though the nose is a touch reserved, this wine comes alive on the palate with an intoxicating concentration of flavor. Upon some inspection, the bouquet reveals aromas of lemon juice, sea air, golden kiwi, and flint. The palate is somehow both expressive and tight at the same time—though it clearly possesses a big personality, one gets the impression that it could further blossom with some bottle age. The acidity is striking and quite fine, chiseling through the taut, citric fruit core. The finish is endless and quite chalky. A combination of the 2013’s nose with this palate would result in my ultimate fantasy Riesling. A wine for the cellar. 8 grams per liter of residual sugar.

Brooklyn Brewery Lager
In the late 1800’s Brooklyn was one of the largest brewing centers in the country, home to more than 45 breweries. Lager beer in the “Vienna” style was one of the local favorites. Brooklyn Lager is amber-gold in color and displays a firm malt center supported by a refreshing bitterness and floral hop aroma. Caramel malts show in the finish. The aromatic qualities of the beer are enhanced by “dry-hopping”, the centuries-old practice of steeping the beer with fresh hops as it undergoes a long, cold maturation. The result is a wonderfully flavorful beer, smooth, refreshing and very versatile with food. Dry-hopping is largely a British technique, which we’ve used in a Viennese-style beer to create an American original.

Fortem is a new-age imperial IPA that draws upon a range of influences, all while exhibiting DNA from our own forays into the IPA style. As such, it blends newer hop varieties from the Pacific Northwest and Hallertau, Germany along with pale malt, wheat malt and flaked oats for a full body and rounded mouthfeel. Fortem presents an expressive mix of aromas, including mango, blueberry, raspberry, lime zest and lychee. After time in the glass, it opens up to reveal stone fruit blossoms and mandarin oranges, finishing with just enough bitterness to encourage your next sip. Fortem has been left unfiltered for a hazy appearance and full hop impact.

The induction ceremony took place on April 23, 2012, during the Keeper’s banquet at Blair Castle of Atholl Estates in the Highland region of Scotland. Our bourbon is distilled from Arkansas corn and wheat right here at the distillery in downtown Little Rock. We’re proud that we keep things local. We age our bourbon here at the distillery in small new charred oak barrels that were coopered right here in Arkansas at Gibbs Brothers Cooperage. That’s right, we use Arkansas Corn, Arkansas Wheat, we distill the whiskey in Arkansas, age it in an Arkansas made barrel to be Arkansas’ first ever Bourbon Whiskey.

Our Bourbon is milled, mashed, fermented, distilled, aged, bottled and packaged at the distillery in Little Rock. We’re makers not fakers.

Tasting notes:
A sweet and smoky perfume of roasted corn, breakfast cereal and brown sugar with delicate baked cherry notes. Smooth and sweet on the palate. Very subtle and deep notes of almond, brown sugar and freshly baked biscuits. The sweet and nutty notes linger into the finish.

Distilled from a mash of Arkansas grown corn, wheat, rye and malted barley. The mash is “soured” by using part of the previous batch’s stillage to start the Sour Mash Bourbon cook.

Rock Town Arkansas Rye Whiskey is a premium small batch rye whiskey distilled, aged and bottled at our distillery in Little Rock, Arkansas. We take pride in the fact that we grow our own Rye in Northeast Arkansas.
As with all our whiskies, our Rye Whiskey is made from grain to glass right here at the distillery in Little Rock. We’re makers not fakers.
Beginning with batch 12 we changed the mash bill from 88% rye and 12% malted barley, to 52% rye, 38% corn and 10% malted barley. The rye grain and the corn are grown in Arkansas.

Hickory Smoked Whiskey is distilled from Arkansas Soft Red Winter Wheat – aged in ex-Bourbon casks – with a nice light smokey taste from real Hickory.  We took American whiskey distilling techniques and melded it with Scotch whiskey aging techniques to make something pretty special, Arkansas Hickory Smoked Whiskey.  We cold smoke the wheat in our custom built hickory smoker here at the distillery, prior to milling. This infuses smoke into the grain and the flavor of the hickory carries all the way through to the distillate. As with all our whiskies, our Hickory Smoked Whiskey is made from grain to glass here at the distillery in Little Rock. We’re makers not fakers.
Tasting notes:

Bright fragrances of peach nectar, smoked meat, hickory and teaberry leaves. In the mouth a gentle smokiness gives way to alluring brown sugar and ripe peach flavors. The finish lingers on the palate offering woodsy characteristics.

Bourbon is usually made with rye or wheat as the flavor grain, but we decided to try to see what contributions other grains would have and started our flavor grain series. Each bourbon was mashed and aged exactly the same with only one difference, the middle grain, the small grain or what we call “the flavor grain”. The whiskeys were made without corn, so they’re not bourbons, each with its own distinct flavor profile.
