This Pinot Grigio is grown at the foot of the remains of what was once the stunning villa of the della Scala family, one of the most influential families in Verona from the early 1200's to the late 1300's. In Italian, Ornato means ornate or adorned. This label celebrates the beautiful, complex taste of the Della Scala family and the Gothic art of that period.

Color: Brilliant straw colored wine with golden reflections.
Bouquet: Fresh and floral bouquet with a hint of pears, apricots and bananas blended with the intense aroma of acacia flowers.

Belle Meade Bourbon Cask Strength Reserve is a premium full strength whiskey created to quench the growing demand for well-aged, higher proof bourbon.
We taste every barrel in our inventory and reserve the ones that taste good enough to be a Single Barrel but don't have a high enough proof to be a Single Barrel. We batch these reserve barrels with others barrels in our inventory that raise the proof of the batch while accentuating the flavors of those reserve barrels. When blended together, these barrels of well-aged bourbon create a product that is greater than the sum of its individual parts.
Each small batch of our Reserve is comprised of just seven of these exceptional barrels.

The base spirit of some of the greatest and most delicious cocktails — Mojitos, Cuba Libres, Mai Tais, Daiquiris — has historically been undrinkable on its own. We set out to change all that. We decided to make a white rum fine enough to sip on the rocks, but that would elevate, rather than bring down, a great drink.


A RICH, SMOOTH BLEND
A three-year-old rum brings the youth and vibrancy of fresh-cut sugarcane which is rounded out with notes of caramel and butterscotch from a mature five-year-old rum. This blend is delicately charcoal-filtered to remove the color, leaving elegance in its place.

It’s an unlikely blend of tocai friulano from Mendocino, riesling from Arroyo Seco, verdelho from Suisun Valley and sauvignon blanc from Potter Valley, that’s brisk and lively, with floral and herbal aromas and flavors. Folk Machine, a label from Kenny Likitprakong’s Hobo Wine Company, specializes in moderately priced, easygoing bottles that are nonetheless interesting. I love this wine. I wrote about the 2018 vintage last year, but it’s well worth revisiting. This bottle, from the Tuscan coast, is a blend of alicante nero, as grenache is called in that area, with mourvèdre, carignan, sangiovese and alicante bouschet. The blend doesn’t seem particularly Italian, yet has a specifically Tuscan quality of sweet-bitter earthy, cherry flavors. Coming in (rating-wise) right where I projected it would last year, Giraud's 2017 Chateauneuf du Pape is a terrific example of a cuvée tradition. At 80% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 5% Mourvèdre, it's a pretty typical blend yet one that exceeds expectations. It's full-bodied, plush and velvety, showing ample ripeness—raspberries, cherries, and stone fruit—without going over the top into cooked fruit. No, it doesn't show that much complexity at this age, but some of that will emerge over the next decade or so. 2019 - 2032

I loved the 2017 Châteauneuf Du Pape, and I’d certainly be happy with a case in the cellar. It’s already hard to resist yet will keep for 10-15 years.

Del Maguey Single Village Mezcal brings you the limited edition Vino de Mezcal series made in a remote mountain valley of Ocotlan, Oaxaca. Taviche gets is unique changing flavor from the blending of three various wild agaves: Espadin, Tobala, and Tobasiche or Tepextate. The earth roasted hearts are ground by two men using giant mallets, fermented naturally by airborne microbes, and distilled slowly twice in a tiny 150 liter copper still. Taviche has many layers of dried sweet fruit (dates and raisins), hazelnuts, sweet cedar and a hint of standing in a chocolate mist. In the background are dark herbaceous hints of dried tarragon and a bit of nutmeg.
