Introducing Mending Wall
Introducing Mending Wall, a superstar cult wine collaboration, brand new to Missouri!
"This beautiful, new winery on the Silverado Trail...is a who’s who of Napa Valley for sure!"
-Robert M. Parker Jr.
There’s a ripe herb/herbal edge in the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Tournahu Vineyard, which comes from a vineyard on the valley floor located on an old riverbed. Lots of black fruits, salted meats, and cured black olives define the bouquet, and it’s full-bodied, concentrated, and structured on the palate. It’s a serious wine that will benefit from 2-4 years of bottle age and keep for 15-20.-Robert M. Parker Jr.
Mending Wall is a new small production Napa wine project headed by Frank Dotzler (of Outpost), Mark Pulido and Donna Walker (of Pulido-Walker), Thomas Rivers Brown (of Schrader), and Genevieve Marie Welsh (of Rivers-Marie).

The midpalate has wonderful depth and power, while the ripe, fine tannins provide structure and length without being obvious or drying. The 2017 is cut from the same cloth as the 2016 and offers a full-bodied, rich, smoky, meaty edge as well as lots of herbal, tobacco, and walnut nuances. Accessible now with a few hours in the in decanter, this wine has composition to age gracefully for at least a decade or more.

Mother's Brewing Chug Chug Suckle Suckle Double NE IPA
Mother's Brewing Chug Chug Suckle Suckle Double NE IPA...$12.99 / 4pk cans
Inspired by the overwhelming embrace of our New England IPA, Sunshine Chugsuckle, Mother’s took the natural next step: a super-juicy double IPA pushing the limits of flavor and aroma. Get a dose of Chug Chug Suckle Suckle, a hazy juice bomb with massive hop aroma of mango, papaya, and citrus fruit, courtesy of an insane amount of Citra, Mosaic, Cashmere, and Centennial hops. A touch of oats and wheat provide a soft, creamy body with a mild sweetness. The flavor and drinkability may say ‘chug,’ but the 10% abv means suckling is the best option. How very like your Mother’s to urge restraint when the beer exhorts indulgence.
PROFILE: Waves of massive hop aroma and flavor suggesting mango, papaya, and citrus fruit supported by a soft and subtly sweet malt body.
Stone UNFILTERED IPA - Enjoy by 07.04.20
Stone Enjoy By Unfiltered IPA...$15.99 / 6pk
For this version of Stone Enjoy By IPA we thought: “We don’t always have a filter, so why should our beer?” By skipping a step and letting this devastatingly fresh, golden-hued double IPA go un filtered, the beer takes on a hazy appearance and its peach and tropical fruit hop aroma are intensified. So though it may sound like it, this missed step was no misstep.
Like the other IPAs in this series, this version is brewed specifically NOT to last.
Claude Riffault Sancerre “Les Boucauds”
A 95 Point Organic Sancerre from rock star producer Claude Riffault!
2018 Claude Riffault Sancerre “Les Boucauds”...$24.99
The certified organic Les Boucauds vineyards are located on hillsides with a vine age of 30-40 years and they began the transition to biodynamic farming in 2018. After hand harvesting, 80% of the juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks to retain the fresh fruit characteristics and 20% is fermented in barrel; each parcel is then aged separately for 7-8 months before being blended and bottled in early summer. Light gold, touch of honey, gooseberry and pineapple notes, vibrant and long finish. Scents of pure apple fruit, florals. Good transparency of place yet with richness and depth of lees coming from winemaking. Lovely phenolic texture. Light peach and citrus notes. The palate has real harmony, with elegantly creamed white peach and citrus fruits, cut with minerally energy and fresh acidity, giving it a real sense of panache and style.

Gran Patron Piedra Tequila...$319.99
Compare to $329.99 at Total Wine and More
This extraordinary extra añejo tequila is crafted entirely from the “Tahona” process, a time consuming and ancient method for creating tequila. To produce Gran Patrón Piedra, first we select the highest-quality, 100 percent agave from the Highlands of Jalisco, which we then steam-cook and slowly crush with a large volcanic stone Tahona wheel. The resulting juice is then fermented and distilled along with the agave fiber. Piedra, which means “stone” in Spanish, is one of very few tequilas that is still produced in this age-old way. After distillation, Gran Patrón Piedra is meticulously aged for more than three years in new American and French oak barrels for a deep mahogany color and sweet, subtle aroma of fruit, fresh mushroom, light citrus, and toasted French oak. The distinctive Gran Patrón Piedra bottle, which was inspired by the Tahona stone, is packaged in an elegant box that converts into a beautiful display case.
COLOR: Deep mahogany
AROMA: Sweet, smooth aroma of fresh fruit, fresh mushroom, light citrus, and toasted French oak
TASTE:Sweet, yet rich and complex, combining an herbaceous agave flavor with light vanilla, and fresh mushroom
FINISH: Long-lasting and remarkably smooth

Cramele Recas Amber Natural Wine - Orange Wine
2019 Cramele Recas Amber Natural Wine .... $11.99
#1 Natural wine in Europe
Dark straw color with orange hints, the nose is a delicate mélange of quince, Williams pear and a hint of vanilla. A complex and structured wine, with elegant but discreet fruit flavors of stone fruits, backed up with a powerful tannin structure and long finish. A perfect wine for lovers of natural products, with minimal intervention, balanced and structured yet pure and fresh, the lack of sulfur dioxide in this type of wines re-defines what to expect from the taste profile of white wines and provides a delicious alternative to discerning wine lovers who wish to find something different from mainstream commercial wines.
Amber is another term for Orange Wine. The U.S. does not allow you to put "Orange Wine" on the label. They think people will be confused and that the wine is made from oranges.
A totally naturally made wine (no additions, no added sulphites), from organically grown (but not certified) grapes. Around 25 days (3.5 weeks) of skin contact during the fermentation. Bottled unfiltered.

Our Los Carneros Chardonnay displays great fruit freshness, intensity and elegance. This wines focus is primarily on aromatics, and our winemaking techniques are intended to retain the characteristic Carneros aromas of lemon-citrus and white blossom, while enhancing the minerality and bright, vibrant fruit flavors of citrus and stone fruits in the wine.
Partial barrel and malolactic fermentation, combined with lees stirring, produces a wine with added layers of complexity, imparting hints of Meyer lemon, nectarine and lemongrass.

Boulevard Saison Brett
Boulevard Saison Brett....$11.99 / 750ml
Saison Brett, based on our very popular Tank 7, is assertively dry-hopped, then bottle conditioned with various yeasts, including Brettanomyces, a wild strain that imparts a distinctive earthy quality. Though this farmhouse ale was given three months of bottle age prior to release, further cellaring will continue to enhance the “Brett” character, if that's what you're after.

2017 Vina Robles Cabernet Sauvignon...$17.99
This wine delivers loads of Paso Robles richness at a fair price, starting with lush aromas of black cherry, caramel and mocha cream. The palate starts soft and inviting, with more cherry and caramel, then firms up with tighter tannins and penetrating acidity.

2017 Fedellos do Couto • Conasbrancas...$21.99
I also tasted the 2017 Conasbrancas, which was cropped from a warm and dry year that resulted in a very early harvest of grapes with a little less acidity than in 2016. Other than that, it's the same mix of different varieties from the old vineyards produced in the same way, partly with full clusters and partly pressed and in barrique, but the wine underwent malolactic fermentation, as they couldn't stop it. It has aromas of peach and white flowers, with a volatile hint, more primary and a little warmer. The palate reveals very tasty flavors, fine tannins and a dry finish. 5,000 bottles were filled in June 2018.
