Not a King Rye is a tribute to George Washington, who was not only our first president, but also one of America’s first distillers. After his victory over the British, he was celebrated by the masses as the first King of America. Washington famously stated that he was “Not a King”. This is a limited release whiskey made available on Presidents Day each year.

Blended to profile for each batch

Hints of sweet honey, fruity accent with a creamy buttery body, caramel, banana, burnt sugars.

ArteNOM

ArteNOM Seleccion de 1579 Blanco Tequila...$46.99
The mountain town of Jesús-María (elev. 6,079’) is tequila’s highest altitude agave region, and the El Pandillo Distillery is arguably one of the most forward-thinking and sustainable distilleries in the business. There, Felipe Camarena masterfully crafts this bright, aromatic tequila from stressed hillside agave plants, slowly roasted in brick ovens and macerated intact with fiber for a pronounced agave flavor.

ArteNOM Seleccion de 1414 Reposado...$48.99
From Arandas (elev. 5,400′), Feliciano Vivanco has been cultivating highland agave since Mexico’s tumultuous post-revolutionary period of 1919-1929. The family now holds 2,000 acres of estate-grown agave producing a rich, well-balanced spirit.

Old Elk Blended Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Old Elk Blended Straight Bourbon Whiskey...$44.99
The Old Elk recipe includes three quality ingredients – malted barley, rye, and corn. By investing in our bourbon and using four times more malted barley than traditional recipes, the bourbon generates sweet, light components. The malted barley, combined with spicy essence of clove from the rye, and the traditional rich bourbon character from the corn, creates the overall robust taste profile.

Tasting Profile - Best for Sipping Whiskey:
Aroma: Sweet vanilla and caramel, clove spice, slight maple, and nutty almond
Taste: Maple syrup, almond, raw bran, chocolate, deep wood, and coconut
Mouthfeel: Smooth and coating with a lasting flavor

Santa Fe Chicken Killer Barley Wine Ale

Santa Fe Chicken Killer Barley Wine Ale...$15.99 / 4pk 16oz cans
Chicken Killer Barley Wine is the revolutionary beer that is brewed with twice the ingredients of the Santa Fe Brewing Company’s other beers, and only half the usual amount of liquid is extracted from these ingredients. This makes one substantial beer. At over ten percent alcohol, Chicken Killer is as substantial as wine, but remains remarkably smooth on the palate.

“Neb” is a home brew recipe that has been scaled up with no consideration to economies of scale. Some say idiotic, and as an economist I would have to agree. Get fresh or die trying.

Dugges / Stillwater Mango Mango Mango

Dugges / Stillwater Mango Mango Mango...$5.99 / 11.2oz
Sour Fruit Ale
It might sound like an echo, but it’s not. This collaboration with Stillwater Artisanal explores the true depth of Mango flavor. Three layers of taste and aroma from fruit and hops. Go Mango!
Story text:  If you’re going to put fruit in a beer, there’s no better fruit to use then mango. At least that’s what Magnus here at Dugges Bryggeri says. So, when there was time for another Dugges x Stillwater Artisanal collaboration, Magnus posed the idea of a mango beer to Brian of Stillwater. Turns out, Brian had the same idea about mango and beer as Magnus. So, we set out to do a mango solo! To make it a sour was a no-brainer. We’ve got nothing but love for our sour collaborations so far, and we wanted to continue exploring that. Said and done, with mango flavor from two types of mango fruit and from mosaic hops we did it. Mango, mango, mango!

Dugges / Stillwater Speyside Cacao....$9.99 / 11.2oz
Whisky Barrel Aged Chocolate Stout brewed with Cacoa, coconut, and Vanilla
Together with Stillwater Artisanal we made a beer inspired by everyone’s favorite candy. We made a chocolate bar in a bottle. Then, we aged that beer in Speyside whisky barrels. Absolutely divine!
Story text:  Sometimes beers happen from coincidence, or in this case coincidences. In October of 2016 we we’re up in Aberdeen to brew with Fierce Beer. Thanks to that visit we got in touch with a company that sells really freshly emptied whisky barrels. We ordered 10 Speyside barrels, almost on a whim. Had no real plans on what to put in them once they arrived. Then, in April of 2017, we had Brian Strumke of Stillwater Artisanal here at the brewery, together brewing what turned out to be our seventh (!) collaboration, Cocoa Cacao - an imperial chocolate stout. Just days before that beer was done the Speyside barrels arrived, and there we had it. Honestly, what better beer to pour in Speyside whisky barrels then a decadent imperial chocolate stout? Coincidental yet perfectly logical. Like life…. kinda.

Saracco Moscato D'Asti

"The DRC of Moscato D'Asti".  DRC stands for Domaine Romanee Conti - the most sought after wine in Burgundy and maybe from anywhere.  It is considered the best of the best! (DRC sells for $10,000 per bottle)

2017 Paolo Saracco Moscato D'Asti....$15.99
Bright golden straw-yellow. Perfumed aromas of white peach, orange blossom, lime cordial, sage and jasmine. Boasts excellent energy and grip to the flavors of fresh pomaceous orchard fruit and sweet spices. Finishes very long and bright, with strong hints of fresh citrus fruit and vanilla cream. A very successful 2017 Moscato d’Asti in what was a hot year, and a benchmark example of what Paolo Saracco can achieve with this variety. For my money, this estate is the DRC of Moscato d’Asti.

Deep garnet-purple colored, it leaps from the glass with exuberant black cherries, black raspberries and blackcurrants with hints of pencil shavings, black pepper, tobacco and forest floor plus a waft of tapenade. Full, firm and grainy, with gorgeous mid-palate generosity and packed with layers of black fruit and savory sparks, it has a rock-solid frame of ripe, grainy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing long. Approachable now yet structured to cellar, this seriously affordable, serious California blend should age 15-20 years or more
