Wines for your Thanksgiving Feast!
Join us this Saturday at ALL FOUR LOCATIONS as we taste wines tailor made for any Thanksgiving meal. Our experts will match the best wine with not just your turkey but the too often overlooked side dishes as well.
2019 E. Traber Riesling Alsace, France....$19.99
E. Traber Riesling a dry white wine from the region of Alsace. This white wine is aromatic and it is classified as a “noble grape variety” just like Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer and Muscat. It is known to be the finest of Alsace grapes and the most elegant. It covers about a quarter of the Alsatian vineyard. It is a dry, racy white with loads of citrus and mineral components. Well structure with a very long finish. It goes perfectly with turkey.
2020 Commanderie de la Bargemone Coteaux D'Aix-En-Provence, France $21.99
Vivid orange-pink. Strawberry, orange zest and pungent flowers on the perfumed nose. Juicy red berry, citrus fruit and honeysuckle flavors show good depth and a bracing undercurrent of juicy acidity. Opens up slowly on the back half and finishes long and silky, with repeating florality and a refreshingly bitter touch of orange zest. Rated 90 Vinous Media
2019 Jeff Carrel - Les Darons Languedoc, France $16.99
Perhaps a touch more concentrated than the 2018 version, the 2019 Languedoc Les Darons offers up penetrating raspberry and cherry aromas. It's plump and creamy in texture, medium to full-bodied, supple and easy to drink. It should prove to be another fine value. Rated 89-91/100 The Wine Advocate
