100% Sauvignon Blanc from old vines
Great White Bordeaux!
This wine presents a pale yellow color that is very fresh on the nose with the classic Sauvignon characteristics of gooseberries. Dry and full bodied, its finish is long and mellow with just a hint of citrus. The wine is made with very low yields from 25 year old vines.
2019 Chateau Carbonneau Le Verriere White Bordeaux....$29.99This has aromas of sliced lemons, apricots, melon rind, celery and beeswax. It’s medium-bodied with crisp acidity and a creamy, gently oily palate. Layered and flavorful with delicious celery-salt notes on the finish. 50% semillon and 50% sauvignon blanc. Drink now.
Rated 91/100 James Suckling2019 Heritage Familial Bordeaux Blanc...$17.99This is a fantastic value made by a great Bordeaux Family- Franc de Ferriere. The family vineyard is located to the east of the Bordeaux wine region, about 25 minutes from Saint-Emilion. Wines of the Franc de Ferriere family originate from a unique area on the hills of the Dordogne river, giving the appellation all of its originality and grace.
