Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat 100 Hazy Session Ale...$8.99 / 6pk
Lively and refreshing, Unfiltered Wheat 100 is a low-calorie version of fan-favorite, Unfiltered Wheat Beer, with a lighter body, zippier aroma, with just a hint of citrus flavor.

Left Hand New Release!!

Left Hand St. Vrain Tripel...$9.99 / 6pk cans
A Belgian-style golden ale with intricate aromas of fruit & spice.
The usually tranquil St. Vrain River flows out of the Rocky Mountains, winding peacefully alongside our brewery. But, what at first appears benevolent can manifest into something fierce and mighty. Named after the river that brought our hometown's great flood in 2013, St. Vrain is designed to pay homage to classic Belgian Tripels while also adding a uniquely local twist. Colorado barley creates a subtle malt sweetness and American hops bring rich herbal and floral aromatics, both perfectly complimenting the warm spice and fruit character of the Belgian yeast. What at first looks innocent, light in color and body, suddenly swells up with a strong current of aroma and flavor, and a 9.3% ABV.

Left Hand Found Fortune Double IPA...$9.99 / 6pk cans

With hop aromatics as towering as the rock formations, Found Fortune is a hidden trail to hop treasure. Dry-hopped with El Dorado, Galaxy and Citra, this Double IPA boasts a wealth of candied orange, juicy tropical fruits, and fresh-squeezed grapefruit. Take a journey through its haze and find a fortune in every glass. Double IPA

Shackleton Whisky is back!

Shackleton Blended Malt Scotch Whisky...$32.99
“I wanted to capture the essence of Sir Ernest Shackleton within this whisky.”
– Richard Paterson, Master Blender
Inspired by Sir Ernest Shackleton and his story, Richard Paterson has spent many years perfecting a new whisky.

Shackleton Blended Malt has been expertly crafted by using a recreation of the antique Mackinlay’s as its foundation, combined with the finest Highland malt whiskies.

BASED ON THE
ANTIQUE WHISKY SUPPLIED TO THE 1907 BRITISH ANTARCTIC EXPEDITION:  OUR STORY BEGINS WITH SIR ERNEST SHACKLETON.

Iconic polar explorer, and one of the greatest leaders the world has ever seen. A man whose expeditions are legendary.  Driven by the desire to conquer uncharted lands, Sir Ernest embarked on an epic journey to reach the undiscovered South Pole, leading his team on the 1907 British Antarctic Expedition.   The extreme conditions saw the Pole slip from their grasp, but they returned as heroes, making headlines around the world after breaking all records to reach 88* South.   To bolster team spirit, Sir Ernest had personally ordered 25 cases of ‘Mackinlay’s Rare Old Highland Malt Whisky’ for the Antarctic expedition.  In 2007 eleven bottles of this Scotch which has been hidden underneath the floorboards of the base camp hut for a century, were painstakingly recovered.
World renowned Master Blender, Richard Paterson, brought bottles back to Scotland to uncover the secrets within this lost whisky.

#OrvalDay

Saturday March 20, 2021 is #OrvalDay this year!

We are not doing a tasting this year, but grab some Orval and an Orval glass and enjoy it at home!

Orval Trappist Ale was the first Brett beer to land on US shores, and has become the favorite beer for many star American brewers. ( "Brett" - brettanomyces - is a yeast variety that adds appetizing, sharp acidity and dryness.) Orval sells one beer, brewed to exquisite perfection within the walls of Notre Dame d’Orval Monastery in Belgium. It’s delicious when it leaves the brewery, but also evolves in the bottle for five years or more. Each year we make a donation to charity based on US sales of Orval on Orval Day. This year, our charitable contribution will go to regional US hunger-relief organizations Northwest Harvest and Houston Food Bank. If you drink, buy or sell an Orval Trappist Ale on Orval Day - thanks! #OrvalDay

Orval is often copied but never duplicated!  It is the standard!!!

Orval Trappist Ale....$5.49 / 11.2oz bottle
The History of Orval

The Abbey of Orval is located near Florenville, Belgium in the provence of Luxembourg. The present brewery was completed in 1929, at which time the skittle (pin)-shaped bottle and Orval chalice were introduced. (Brewery, bottle, and chalice were all designed by architect Henry Vaes.) In the middle ages, Orval was famous for producing its iron decoration as well as beer. The abbey was gutted by fire in 1252 & repaired, then was destroyed during the French Revolution.
Taste: Sunset-orange color; a fruity and slightly acidic bouquet, firm body, profound hop bitterness, and long, dry finish. Orval is bottled with Brettanomyces, a yeast strain that leads to superb dry complexity and ageworthiness.
Serving Suggestion:Mild semisoft cheese, warm brown bread, fresh pears, steamed mussels, clams in Pernod cream sauce, oysters, smoked salmon and trout, and calamari. Traditionally served in Orval chalices to capture the big bouquet and lovely "Belgian Lace." Excellent with a handmade cigar. Traditionally served in Orval chalices at 55-60 °F.

Also in stock - the Orval Chalice glass...

TEQUILA FINISH
We finished our straight rye whiskey in Extra Añejo Tequila barrels. The result is remarkably unique tequila finished whiskey with notes of agave and vanilla on the nose and honey, peppercorn and orange citrus to taste. Pairing tequila and whiskey is always a risky move, but this was a risk worth the reward.
Palate | Rich agave and sweet notes of honey paired with bitter orange, dried fig with floral notes. Spicy peppercorn creates a lasting finish.
Proof | 98 (49% ABV)
Age | 4 – 5 Years

Aga-Vie L'Espirit de Agave Silver

Aga-Vie L'Espirit de Agave Silver....$39.99
The world’s first and only spirit created from a distillation of Weber Blue Agave (Tequila) and Cognac. The name comes from the well known AGAve plant and VIE, which is “Life” in French.

We begin the process by carefully selecting the best un-aged agave spirits available in Mexico, which are then repositioned to Cognac, France where they are blended with fine French Cognac and redistilled. The last distillation will remove any coloring from the Cognac and leaves us with a crystal clear spirit not unlike Mexico’s popular Blanco Tequilas.

AGAVIE is a spirit unlike any other. The marriage of Agave & Cognac produce a smoothness and a complex flavor. The harshness and edge that is common with most agave spirits does not exist at all in this fine distillation.

 Red Oranges of Sicily

Rossa Amara Amaro d'Arancia Rossa...$37.99
The sicilian bitter that is born of etna's pendants
Amaro AMARA is born, selecting the best peel of “Arancia Rossa di Sicilia IGP”, which we produce in our orange groves, the water of the springs and the wild herbs of Etna. A liqueur that represents the quintessence of Sicily.
THE ORIGINAL BITTER BASED ON RED ORANGES
The “Red Oranges of Sicily IGP” are protagonists of the recipe of AMARA, a fruit unique in the world because it is born in a special volcanic context, characterized by a singular terrain at those latitudes and by strong thermal excursions that condition the growth of plants with extraordinary properties which make the AMARA bottles even more special.

Taylor Fladgate Chip Dry White Port

Taylor Fladgate Chip Dry White Port...$19.99
Taylor Fladgate was the first to pioneer dry white aperitif port. Chip Dry White Port was first blended in 1934, since when it has acquired a devoted following throughout the world. Chip Dry is made from selected dry white ports produced from grapes grown in the Douro Superior (the eastern area of the Douro Valley). Although several white grape varieties are used, the Malvasia Fina grape predominates.
Chip Dry is produced using the traditional port wine vinification method, brandy being added to the must to halt fermentation and to preserve some of the grape’s natural sugar in the finished wine. In the case of Chip Dry, the brandy is added later, when much of the sugar has been converted into alcohol, producing a port of unusual dryness.
The individual wines are matured separately in oak vats for between four and five years and are then blended together shortly before bottling to give balance and character.

TASTING NOTE
Pale, straw colour. Delicate nose combining fresh fruit fragrances with the mellow aromas and hints of oak of a traditional white port. Fresh, lively palate, with good flavour and crisp, dry finish.

Great warm weather drink....you can servit on ice or mix White Port and tonic with an Orange wedge (even a mint sprig)
