Using only pure Jamaican molasses, Myers's Rum is made from continuous and pot still distillation and matured in white oak barrels. The rum is then carefully blended making for a very distinctive color, aroma, and flavorful taste.
In Kingston, back in 1879, Fred L. Myers began producing rum from pure Jamaican sugarcane juice. Myers's rum became globally recognized and represents nearly a century and a half of Caribbean heritage and pride. We continue the Myers family’s commitment to fine rums through our careful craft process: Sugarcane juice is boiled into molasses then carefully fermented, distilled and matured in white oak barrels.
Myers’s has a distinctive color, aroma and taste that includes sweet caramel, tobacco, honey, and chocolate with notes of raisin and fig. The finish is a decadent dark chocolate with brown sugar, underlying oak notes and a bit of smokiness.
