Field Recording Pet Nat Wines!

Field Recordings Salad Days Sparkling Wine...$17.99
Salad Days Pet Nat is an insanely crushable blend of Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc & Colombard. Why Salad Days? Short answer, because it's flavors are green & fresh. Long answer, at just 9.9% abv, some days, you just need a salad after a weekend of pork stuff, potatoes, pizza & Petite Sirah (or is that just me?). Salad Days is super bright & fresh - on the nose it's all about crisp pear, green apple, lemon & green herbs - the palate is light & refreshing with a soft kiss of Pet Nat bubbles. As a point of reference, if you enjoy bright white wines with lively acidity & some verve, and you trust us - you are going to love this. It's the perfect breakfast, brunch, lunch, aperitif wine.

2022 Field Recordings Posie Sparking White Wine...$19.99
100% Muscat Canelli
Many of you are probably familiar with Muscat. Some call it Muscat Blanc, some call it Muscat Canelli, some just know the term Moscato. POSIE is made up of 100% Muscat grapes, but it’s nothing like you might expect.  We had the opportunity to work with a 25-year-old Muscat vineyard in the North Canyon of the Santa Maria Valley. We picked these grapes when they were perfect for our normal Pet Nat — early in the season, before the heat wave, so we got just the right amount of acidity in the final wine.  Just like our other Pet Nat wines, this one is bone dry. It’s not your typical sweet Muscat, but when you pop and pour your first glass, be ready for those surreal floral aromas to take over your living room. Super versatile for serving. Great by itself on a warm afternoon, or pop it for the whole family. Try it with your Mother's Day brunch or — our personal favorite — a Friday evening Midwestern fish fry.

2022 Field Recordings Skins Orange Wine...$19.99
35% Chenin Blanc, 35% Pinot Gris, 12% Albarino, 12% Riesling, 4% Tocai Friulano, 2% Verdelho
A crisp orange wine perfect to pair with spicy foods, springtime and ... well, anything. The 2017 vintage of this wine landed us on Sunset Magazine’s top 100 wines list. It will make you a believer in non-red wines. We use a mix of white grapes from different vineyards that we destem and ferment on skins, resulting in a beautiful showcase of all the delicate flavors of white wine, but with more substance and texture.
Tasting Notes: Apricot, Haitian Orange, Marzipan
Pairings: Bleu cheese, Duck sausage, dried fruit
Alcohol: 12.1%

2020 Field Recordings Tang Sparkling White Wine Piquette...$15.99
Sparkling White Wine Piquette.
Light and refreshing, made with rehydrated skins from, well, Skins. Think wine tea. Literally, we have turned water into wine on this cellar experiment. Piquette was a way to meet the needs of the people during the late 1800s wine blight in France. By taking the pressed skins and rehydrating them with well water, you create a low-alcohol tea with all of the leftover flavor bound up in the dried skins. After repressing the skins 7 days later, we get a light and refreshing low alcohol elixir. We add a little of our finished table wine for acidity and stability and then bottle. The leftover sugars and native yeast then go to work giving the finished wine a light sparkle.
Tasting notes: Clementines, white jasmine tea, everything bagels
