Batch #1

Distilled From: Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat Release
Date: June 27, 2016
Reason for Distillation: One of the first fermentations in the newly constructed Cellar 5 at Boulevard, this batch of UWB didn’t pass the rigorous testing Boulevard places on all of its brews. The average person wouldn’t have been able to decipher any wrong in the beer, but the seasoned sensory panel was able to spot a flaw.
Distillation Proof: 147 proof Bottled
Proof: 89 proof
Bottles in Batch: 1,028 bottles
Notes from the Distiller: Aroma: sweet, grainy, slightly fruity, banana, pineapple, floral, slight citrus, bread Taste: sweet, soft wheat backbone, fruit, mineral, banana, pineapple, grain, slight spice Mouthfeel: full, creamy, clean finish, oily Potential Cocktail: Neat or with a lemon peel

Batch #3
Distilled From: Calling IPA Release
Date: August 15, 2016
Reason for Distillation and comments: On its way to Europe, the shipping container’s temperature fell out of the ideal storage temperature range. As beer’s sensitivity to temperature fluctuations has the ability to cause unforeseen flavor changes, the brewery didn’t want to take any chances. When Boulevard dumped all the kegs, it equated to approximately 1,000 gallons of beer.
