The Bruery - more new releases

The Bruery The Order...$9.99 / 750ml
Monastic breweries wrote the book on complex ales that weave notes of dark fruits, spices, caramelized character and warmth into each sip. The Order summons that tradition and adds local inspiration. Our darkening, Belgian-inspired abbey ale features dark-fruited character from dates, Belgian-style sugars and subtle spicing from coriander, which compliments the Belgian yeast esters.

The Bruery Terreux Frederck H.....$6.99 / 750ml
We’re on a first-name basis with our new German-style tart wheat beer. Meet Frederick H. (The “H” stands for “Hottenroth”.) But this isn’t Fred as you knew him with Sarah. This is a Berliner Weisse with an entirely different personality. At his core, Frederick H. embodies some of the elements you’d expect in a Berliner Weisse-style beer, such as a tart flavor profile from lactobacillus, a hint of brettanomyces and traditionally low ABV. He gets a little racy though, and gains even more funky and earthy notes from house cultures and fermentation in our oak foeders at Bruery Terreux. After nature takes its course, Frederick H. emerges with a bright, refreshing body, palate-cleansing tartness and au naturel rawness. You could say the complexity of Frederick H. has reinvented our outlook on the style. In fact, he’s now a mainstay in our lineup.

The Bruery Or Xata...$9.99 / 750ml
Horchata is a traditional, sweet, milky drink originating in Spain and Latin America that has become quite popular in Southern California, particularly with Mexican cuisine. Our take on the traditionally non-alcoholic drink is a blonde ale brewed with a heavy dosing of rice, cinnamon and fresh vanilla beans along with lactose for a little extra creamy character. If you didn’t know better, you’d think it was carbonated horchata. The flavor is hard to describe, but for those who know it, you know you love it.

The Bruery Share This Mole...$12.99 / 750ml
Let’s move beyond the concept of grabbing a beer, and reach for something bigger. Share This beer and be part of helping friends become mobile for the first time in Mexico – the source and inspiration of select ingredients in this beer. Each release in our Share This series spotlights unique ingredients and an important cause. Share This: Mole is a mole-inspired imperial stout collaboration with Chef Anne Conness, featuring ancho chilies, chipotle peppers, cinnamon, vanilla and cacao nibs. For each bottle we produce, Free Wheelchair Mission receives one dollar.

The Bruery So Happens It's Tuesday...$16.99 / 750ml
Our infamous Black Tuesday® stout is named in honor of the great stock market crash of 1929. So Happens It’s Tuesday is similarly dark and delicious, but in a more affable format, reminding us that there is always a bit of good to be found within the bad. Things happen, life goes on. This beer can be enjoyed in all of those moments and seasons.

The Bruery Terreaux Gypsy Tart...$12.99 / 750ml

Gypsy Tart is a Flanders-style brown ale with a California touch. A beer that can trace it’s origins to Great Britain, but more famously perfected in western Belgium, has been updated through our own modern techniques, delivering the sweet body and mildly tart finish that has won over numerous generations of beer drinkers in Europe. Our rendition of this wonderful beer style is perfect for both sour beer amateurs and advocates alike.

The Bruery Terreaux Frucht Cherry...$9.99 / 750ml
Welcome to Frucht, our land of fruited Berliner Weisse-style beers. Known for a tart flavor profile and traditionally low ABV, our German-style wheat beer gains even more funky notes and natural earthy-woodiness from fermentation in one of our twin oak foeder vessels – the largest known to be fabricated in this country. Each installment in the series features a new fruit, or Frucht, if we’re Sprechen sie Deutsch. This installment has cherries added, which impart a bright, fruity tartness and elegant hue to the beer.

The Bruery Terreaux Frucht Boysenberry...$9.99 / 750ml

The Bruery Humulus Terreaux....$9.99 / 750ml

Sometimes nature takes its course. Other times, we guide it. Humulus Terreux is a wild, India pale beer that gives us the best of both worlds. Nature lends us the wild yeast, which we harness for a 100% Brettanomyces fermentation to impart notes of barnyard funk and earth, plus an active mouthfeel and a dry, signature finish. We complement these qualities derived from the brett by selecting a certain aromatic and flavor profile we want to achieve from hops. In this installment, we feature Mosaic hops, which contribute a little more sunshine to the funky, pale brett beer, in addition to juicy, tropical and berry fruit flavors.
