Brasserie La Goutte D'Or La Mome Saison Orientale...$9.99 / pint
Saison
Established in 2012! Thierry Roshe started homebrewing in 2006 (Moved to Paris in 2002), he learned brewing at the “Universite de la Rochelle.” His brewery is located in the heart of the cultural & historically artistic centre of Paris: Montmartre.
Located in the middle of the “Old Arab quartier” the food & spices of which serve as inspiration for his various recipes. Thierry even purchases some of the spices used in the spice store across the street! His brewing philosophy defines the term “Terroir” in a very intriguing way: he brews in the middle of a community the values & customs of which provide the background of his first recipes (very different from the brewing philosophies of craftbreweries that are located in similarly “famous” areas such as Brooklyn Brewery, Six Point Brewing and others).
The brewery was named after the street it is located on: La Goutte d’Or. Following that trend, the names of his brews come from street names in the “Montmartre” area. It does not reflect the “new way of French brewing” ....it reflects the multicultural values of the most famous area of Paris.
