The contest is over, we have our winners!
The Contest!!
We are proud to announce that we have two barrels of beer at Side Project that are getting close to being bottled and we have a job for you. Cory King of Side Project Brewing has been generous enough to allow you a chance to name the two beers. You will help name two barrel aged beers: a Barleywine and an Adambier
Below you can read Cory's description of the beers. The rest is up to you. Come up with a creative name for the two beers and Side Project Brewing will decide on the two winners!
1: Side Project Barrel Aged Barleywine
Our Barleywine was brewed with American malts and hops, but fermented with a strong English Ale strain. So far, 14% ABV Barleywine has been aging for 14 months in a Wine and Cheese Place Blanton's barrel. Rich mahogany in color with tawny port aromatics and smooth vanilla, graham cracker finish.
Names so far....
2: Side Project Barrel Aged Adambier
Traditionally, the Adambier was a slightly sour, strong, German Barleywine-like beer. Today, like the Old Ale, most are brewed to not be sour or tart. Our Adambier was fermented clean, without any souring, to showcase the strong malty backbone and beautiful barrel character. Right now, our 13% ABV Adambier has been aging for 11 months in a Wine and Cheese Place Buffalo Trace barrel.

There will be two winners. One for each beer.
