2023 Conta-Me Vinho Verde Rose....$12.99 / Liter bottle
Grapes: Espadeiro, Amaral & Vinhão
Fresh and lively rose!
Alc: 10%
For the 2023 vintage of Conta-Me Vinho Verde Rosé we went to Barcelos - a region within the renowned Vinho Verde DOC - where we worked with one of the area's most old-school producers to make a wine that made us happy. This blend of the driest red grapes of the region has a rhubarb meets grapefruit nose, with passionfruit on the palate and a dry finish, a bit of spritz, and a lot of acidity to keep us satiated. Though this is vinho verde in its true essence, we also feel that Conta-Me VV is a grown up version of what most know the region for. After careful selection of the grapes varieties of the region, the grapes were harvested and vinified using the most modern technology, destemmed, lightly pressed and fermented at a controlled temperature in stainless steel vats.

2023 Domaine des Nugues Beaujolais Villages Rose....$18.99
100% Gamay ROSE
Hand picked grapes. This rose is made with a press juice, which makes it quite winey and complex. Fermentation over about 20 days, extraction at the end of alcoholic fermentation, followed by malo-lactic fermentation and ageing on a fine lees.
Salmon color, pink with a beautiful brilliance, floral aromas and small fruits, on the palate a rather round wine.  Great with Appetizers, grilled fish, grilled meats, white meat…

Great Rose from Bordeaux!
We under ordered last year and it sold too fast!  Plenty in stock now
2023 Chateau Carbonneau Lulu Bordeaux Rose...$16.99
75% Cabernet Sauvingon and 25% Merlot

The Lulu is all about the fruit and the balance. On the nose, we have a combination of strawberry, peach and citrus. The well balanced acidity of the wine offers great freshness which makes it perfect to drink for brunch, as an aperitif or on its own.  This wine tastes great on its own or when paired with light main courses such as salads, tapas, vegetable tarts, cheeses and grilled meats & seafood.

The new 2023 is here!
2023 Horgelus Cotes de Gascogne Rose....$12.99
  • 35% Merlot
  • 35% Cabernet Sauvignon
  • 30% Tannat
Horgelus Rose is made from grapes that were picked at night. At night the grapes are cooler and lends itself to a much fresher Rose wine. This Rose has an intense and complex bouquet of sweet wild strawberries, juicy blackcurrants and ends with a thirst-quenching and dry finish. Very fresh and seductive rose. Perfect patio wine! Great wine on its own but also goes well with grilled chicken, salmon and fresh salads.

Another popular from last year is back!! New Batch is here!
Roncier Vin de France Rose....$13.99

Blend of Gamay, Grenache, Cinsault
Grapes are harvested when it’s cooler, in fully ripe. Wine making : After destemming, berries are macerated during a few hours, and then are slowly pressed. Then, the derived pressed must is put into thermoregulated stainless steel vats, and fermentation will go on for 10 days or so. Once fermentation is over, wine is matured on lees before bottling.
This rosé wine shows a redcurrant colored robe with light reflections. It has very deep fruit aromas including cherry, raspberry and black berry. Well-structured on the palate, this wine is both nicely full-bodied and delightfully fruity. Wine and food pairing : bbq chicken skewers, paella, pizza and much more.

Made from a rare grape
2023 Richemer Marselan Rose...$13.99

A cross between Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache, Marselan is a varietal few people know about yet is emblematic of the local viticulture. It is used here to create a very nice rosé with a bright aromatic profile of fresh berries and is smooth & balanced on the palate making it the perfect summer companion!   This fruit-forward rosé can accompany an entire meal from pre-dinner drinks through to appetizers like tuna ceviche, main courses like stuffed peppers and with a strawberry tart to finish.  The grapes are harvested early September and quickly pressed. The juice is then separated from the skins as early as possible to achieve the perfect pale pink color. This wine is fermented at low temperatures to preserve its aromatic freshness.
