Colonel Gustave Pabst is our late great-grandfather. Our mother said that he was her best friend and the greatest guy she ever knew. He was a Master Brewer, a Prohibition fighter, a farmer and conservationist. He passed his love of beer and cooking with beer down to his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We’re happy to share it with you!
“The aim of civilization is to make men better and stronger by the exercise of willpower, not imposing arbitrary rules upon them. Temperance is civilization and intelligence. Prohibition is tyranny.”
– Col. Gustave G. Pabst
President, U.S. Brewers’ Association, 1918

“Flexible as a marinade, finishing sauce and cocktail complement, this small-batch Worcestershire Sauce from an old Pabst Family recipe using all-malt Milwaukee lager beer and 20 other all-natural ingredients from around the world, is simply the finest, most flavorful on the market today.”  National Restaurant Association, 2017 FABI (Food & Beverage Industry) Award Winner

“We were intrigued when we came across Col Pabst’s All-Malt Amber Lager Worcestershire sauce. Beer and Worcestershire. What’s not to like? The combo doesn’t disappoint. This sauce is savory, tangy and spiced, and would make a killer addition to burgers or meatloaf.” – Fine Cooking Magazine, Pantry Pick

“Made primarily with beer, not vinegar, this version of the classic includes tamarind, ginger and Madras curry. It’s fabulous in pan sauces for chicken or beef” – Tina Ujlaki – Food & Wine Magazine Editor’s Pick – 10 Objects of Our Obsession
