Weller Single Barrel chosen by TWCP

TWCP / W.L. Weller Special Reserve...$17.99 / 750ml
Our own single barrel that we chose.  We think you will like it!!
The Original Wheated Bourbon Whiskey features an exceptionally smooth taste, substituting wheat for rye grain. Bottled at 90 proof, this bourbon stands out with its burnt orange color. Its softer flavor notes make this bourbon great for sipping or making cocktails.
TASTING NOTES:
A sweet nose with a presence of caramel. Tasting notes of honey, butterscotch, and a soft woodiness. It's smooth, delicate and calm. Features a smooth finish with a sweet honeysuckle flair.

Pappy Van Winkle is impossible to get...
Check out his quote from Julian Van Winkle (yes, of Pappy Van Winkle)

You Don't Need Pappy. Really. Even Pappy Says So.
Julian Van Winkle, maker of Pappy Van Winkle, offers alternatives to his cultishly popular hooch. "My first pick? That'd be seven-year-old W.L. Weller. It's very close to ours, sweet and a lot of caramel. If you can't get that, try Maker's 46. It's a little more interesting, with that extra French-oak aging that they use. Third would be Four Roses, the single-barrel. And if that's not available, then I'm gonna go drink vodka." - GC Magazine article

Paul, is there a bottle or two left I can get? I don't see it online.

Hey Paul
Will we still get a barrel of the 107 proof and 12 year like the good ole days. Like 5 years ago. Or will that not happen again until the bourbon Rush has slowed. I remember have you having a barrel of all three. Crazy

Yes, I think it will be awhile before we see the other two. It was nice getting those barrels. Not even sure when we can get another Weller Reserve barrel.
