Hush Heath Estate - English Sparkling

Hush Heath Estate Balfour 1503 Classic Cuvee English Sparkling Wine...$39.99
‘1503’ label, a reference to the date when Hush Heat estate’s historic manor house was built. Made from the property’s younger vineyards and with a slightly higher dosage than the original Balfour wines, these offer a very approachable yet still refined English fizz experience.

After harvest in mid- to late October, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel and cuvées are blended with youthful freshness in mind. Malolactic fermentation helps create a softer, more approachable style. Secondary fermentation in bottle is followed by at least 12 months on lees prior to disgorgement with a ten degree dosage addition.
Production: 3,300 cases

Hush Heath Estate Balfour Brut Rose 2013...$55.99
The exciting thing about vintage wines such as Balfour is the way the wines reveal the characteristics of each English summer.
2013 was an unusually late harvest as we waited patiently for the best balance of sugars and acid in our grapes. Picking began with the Pinot Noir on 22nd October and the final batch of Chardonnay came in on the 7th November.
Pinot Noir - 44%
Chardonnay - 48%
Pinot Meunier - 8%
