2015 Guardian Cellars “Guardian Angel” Sauvignon Blanc...$19.99
From the astonishing Klipsun Vineyard, this wine is rich in Red Mountain fruit, polished by winemaker Jerry Riener. Barrel fermented in new French oak, this matches ripe, tropical fruit flavors to barrel generated streaks of toast and caramel.

2013 Guardian Cellars Chalk Line Red Blend ...$23.99
(50% new oak): Dark red. Sexy Syrah-dominated nose of black cherry, spices and game. Suave and bright on entry, then nicely refined in the middle palate, offering a seamless texture to its dark fruit and spice flavors complicated by a repeating gaminess. Finishes with smooth tannins and very good length and lift.
Rated 90/100 Stephen Tanzer

2014 Guardian Cellars Informant Syrah...$29.99
All coming from StoneTree Vineyard, The Informant is a Syrah co-fermented with 3% Viognier. Aged half in new French oak for 17 months, this full-throttle wine offers aromas of blackberry jam, cassis and barrel spice. It's rich with a silky, smooth finish.

2014 Guardian Cellars Gun Metal...$39.99
It's 100% Merlot, what else is there to say other than it will stand up against cabs and is downright delicious.

2011 Guardian Cellars The Rookie...$41.99

Also known as “Jennifer’s favorite wine.” This vintage of The Rookie is elegant and sophisticated. This 100% Red Mountain Cabernet, features notes of black cherry, licorice, dark roasted coffee and smoke. While the mouthfeel is big and structured, this wine is very approachable
+ Blend: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon
+ Vineyard: Obelisco and Klipsun, in Red Mountain

2014 Newsprint Chardonnay...$17.99
We brought some a hint of butter and just a touch of oak to this Chardonnay party! For our debut vintage of Newsprint Chardonnay we used 50% new French oak barrels that are water bent. This Chardonnay, hailing from Conner Lee Vineyard, features notes of gorgeous golden delicious apple and yellow plum. This Chardonnay has great texture, with very focused flavors and a sleek finish. 450 cases produced

2014 Newsprint Cabernet Sauvignon...$23.99

Newsprint Cabernet is a serious show- stopper! This wine features big and bright blueberry notes and hints of fresh herb on the nose. Swirl and take a deep sniff, you’ll get secondary notes of vanilla, black cherry, cassis and red currant. This wine has some serious body, but the soft tannins give it a lovely texture. There is some good acid here, keeping things super fresh.

I thought that Gun Metal was a Bordeaux blend and Confidential Source was the 100% Melot?

I guess the 2013 was a blend on the Gun Metal - but according to their website -
2014 is 100% Merlot

But the back of the bottle of the 2014 Gun Metal says 53% Cab Sauv, and 47% Merlot - we will ask the owner when he arrives.
