This limited release ale was developed out of our RFR+D program and showcases the first hops grown and dried on the Ruhstaller Farm & Yard in Dixon, California (& the first hops grown, dried & brewed on a commercial scale in the Sacramento Valley in several generations) . Last year’s Nugget hop crop surprised us both for its unique character and bountiful yield. A single hop ale, the Nugget hop expresses smooth licorice notes, subtle yet distinct, for possibly the perfect Sacramento Springtime Ale. Enjoy!
Bottle artwork is a collaboration with artist Danny Scheible of Sacramento-based Tapigami.
