Napa Valley Bitters - first time in St. Louis

We are proud to introduce to Missouri - Napa Valley Bitters....

The Napa Valley Bitters Story
Who do you think you are Mr.?
Napa Valley Bitters Co. was founded by Ian Winget with community and conscious capitalism as it's foundation.   Ian Winget revels in the vast array of flavors discovered whilst traveling and living in over 35 countries. Combined with his professional knowledge of wine, spirits, cuisine he has embarked on a Bitters journey which has lead him to create some exquisite and unique cocktail bitters flavors - including Tamarind Lime Chili Bitters (Nickname Senor Tamarindo), Meyer Lemon Sage Bitters, Fuego Del Corazón Bitters and Vintage Barrel Aged Black Walnut Bitters.

First time in Missouri....

Napa Valley Bitters Fuego Del Corazón Bitters...$19.99
A sensationally different bitters that will leave your heart, mind and soul craving more. This is a very limited production bitters inspired by my trips to Ajijic, Mexico where dried chilies rule the world.
Spicy as hell and burns with the passion of 1000 hearts in love. Yet, with a subtle pepper and agave sweetness, it is balanced, complex and not-of-this-world. As the intense smoky heat fades, the brave are then left with the long and lingering dusty spice notes (of 25+ all natural herbs and spices) and singularly unique botanical bitterness. The subtle sweetness from the agave balances through out.
Don't wuss out. Try it. You'll love it.

Napa Valley Bitters Coffee Pecan...$19.99 / 4oz
Inspired by our love of coffee and pecan pie! Born from many nostalgic memories of the family sitting around the Thanksgiving dinner table after feasting enjoying a beautiful espresso and picking at the slice of pecan pie that you thought you could still eat...The base spirit is a 4 year aged bourbon that was finished for 12 months in a Napa Valley Port Works cask. This spirit not only adds a subtle oakiness but also an even more subtle raisiny note that comes through when paired with sweet vermouth and amaros.   The coffee blend was created and roasted by Charlie, owner and coffee roaster, at Napa Valley Coffee Roasting Company who worked extensively with Napa Valley Bitters to ensure a perfect blend and fresh roasting.  In addition, there are 30ish other herbs, botanicals and spices that make this a brilliant and versatile addition to any bar - both professional and amateur alike.
Recipe
The Daiquiri Revisited
2 oz good aged rum
3/4 oz fresh lime juice
3/4 oz simple syrup
3 dashes NVB Coffee-Pecan Bitters
Shake all ingredients in an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Strain into a chilled coupe.

Napa Valley Bitters Meyer Lemon Sage....$19.99 / 4oz
This flavor is inspired by the Meyer Lemon harvests in Napa. The Meyer Lemon pairs superbly with the sage herb that is traditionally a 'savory' herb. Delightful in Gin, Vodka, light Rum and Tequila.

Napa Valley Bitters Strawberry Rhubarb....$19.99 / 4oz
We drew from our love of French rhubarb and strawberry tarts consumed with an ice cold bottle of rose de Provence - sour, sweet and perfect for enjoying warm weather.  Full of fresh organic rhubarb and strawberries and cut and dehydrated slightly before we use them. In addition, there is heaps of fresh organic and dried grapefruit, orange and lime zest as well a hearty backbone of herbs, spices and exotic botanicals that will take your bourbon, gin, tequila and Champagne cocktails to new heights.   Try a few dashes in sparkling water with a lime wedge on a hot summer day too!

Napa Valley Tamarind Lime Chili Bitters...$19.99 / 4oz
Inspired by yearly trips to Mexico where these flavors are abundant in the local cuisine. Weather, on meats, vegetables or snacks you will not make it far there with out tasting this flavor ensemble. I loved the combination so much I had to make a bitters flavor from them.   The Tamarind Lime Chili bitters is as innovative as it is delicious. Pairs perfectly with Tequila and mezcal concoctions. Though try it with Bourbon, Gin and Vodka drinks as well. You'll be happy you did.   The base spirits are 100% Agave Tequila Blanco, Anejo and neutral grain spirits. We then add tons of fresh Mexican tamarind, organic lime zest and a hand processed 5 Mexican chili blend. There are 40 other natural herbs, botanicals and spices that make up the hearty backbone of this bitters. Though most are Top Secret, there is notes of Mexican sarsaparilla, clove, allspice, and black pepper on the mid-pallet and a lingering bitter tartness on the finish that makes for good libation creation!
