Clear to the eyes with a nose of pepper, ripe peach, and burnt rice. The palate is slightly sweet with flavors of peach and pear. Made in original fermentation pits with 60% sorghum, 20% wheat and 20% rice, this baijiu has a strong aroma. It is full bodied and rich in flavors. The Zisha bottle, grainy and unpolished purple, pays homage to traditional liquor vessels. In fact, Zi-Sha translates to “purple sand”.
