The Roaring 20s are back!
Bee's Knees
The expression "bee's knees" was popular during the 1920s, meaning that something was the best. This cocktail was popular because it used bathtub gin - a popular Prohibition spirit, which wasn't the smoothest of alcohols. The gin's flavor was covered with sweet honey and lemon juice. Serves one.
Ingredients
- Ice
- 2 ounces gin (we do have the Devil's Bathtub gin in stock)
- 3/4 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 ounce honey simple syrup
- Lemon wedge
Instructions
In a shaker with ice, combine the gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup.
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with a lemon wedge.
If you do not want to mix your own - we have Still 630 Bee's Knees cocktail in a can
