The tasting line-up:

2023 La Carrodilla Sauvignon Blanc...$22.99
Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico
The 2023 is a brilliantly crisp vintage for this white from the biodynamic organic Carrodilla winery. Lighter on the tropical notes found in many of the Sauvignon Blancs from this region, here one finds more the high citrus notes of lemon and lemongrass layered in with grapefruit, white peach, fresh cut lawn and honeydew melon. This is delicious right out of the gate but will age nicely for 4 to 5 years.

2023 Monte Xanic Chenin Blanc...$19.99
Valle de Guadalupe/Valle Ojos Negros/Baja CA., Mexico
Winemaker Oscar Ganoa continues to dial in his approach to the microclimates of the holdings of Monte Xanic and use them to his advantage. The result: stunning fruit development and excellent bright acidity that is a challenge to find in this region. While not meant as a wine to age, it will hold well in your cellar for a few years at a minimum.

2023 La Carrodilla "Polen" Rose...$26.99
Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico
This dry Grenache Rose is clean and has bright with fruit notes of strawberries and watermelon, citrus. Winemaker Gustava Gonzalez graduated as a chemist at the University of Berkley and obtained his master’s degree in Enology at the University of Davis, California.

2022 Monte Xanic Merlot...$34.99
Valle de Ojos Negros/Baja CA., Mexico
Monte Xanic was founded in 1987 by Eric, Hans, Manuel, Ricardo and Tomás, all great lovers of good wine and with a common dream: to create quality Mexican wines that would position Mexico on the international oenology map. Aged 12 months in French oak barriques, the dark cherry notes are complimented with vanilla, anise, and oak.

2022 Monte Xanic "Calixa" Cabernet/Syrah...$23.99
Valle de Guadalupe/Valle de Ojos Negros/Baja CA., Mexico
A classic new-world blend of two bold grapes (80% Cabernet, 20% Syrah) showcases the Valle de Guadalupe terroir with its sun drenched vineyards and sandy granite soils. This is a bountiful wine with flavors of ripened blackberries, tart bing-cherries and a subtle floral note of violets & fragrant lilacs. Truly a delicious crowd pleaser with or without food.

2023 La Carrodilla "Canto de Luna" Red Blend...$26.99
Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico
Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, and Syrah...Raspberry jam, tobacco, freshly cut red berries, refined wood, vanilla and blackberries on the nose. Dry, amicable, franc, acidity and tannins well-balanced, medium length. With over 20 years experience in the art of making wine; Gustavo González is one of the most renowned winemakers in the American Union. From 2015 he takes over La Lomita and Finca La Carrodilla wines in the Guadalupe Valley
