Ama Brewery Bat Sencha Pet Nat Tea

Ama Brewery Bat Sencha Pet Nat Tea...$49.99

  • 2.7% ABV
  • Kombucha
  • Product of Spain
  • Vegan
  • Gluten Free
Ama pét-nat tea is a new, lightly sparkling drink that’s low in alcohol but full of flavour, the result of fermenting carefully selected varieties of tea and herbal infusions. Due to its depth and complexity, BAT provides an ideal alternative drink for a variety of dining experiences.

Tasting notes Aromas of delicate herbs. Minerality, salinity, and umami with notes of seaweed appear in the mouth, with a very elegant silky texture.
A complex and harmonious drink, which is a clear expression of the land from which it comes, similar to a delicate sake. Silky on the palate. Long aftertaste. Fine bubble.

Tea Sencha Yabukita. Japan.

Origin Located in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, the Moriuchi Tea Garden was planted during the Edo period. It is the life work of the Moriuchi family who have passed their knowledge down from generation to generation. The steep gardens are cultivated organically to produce the finest, hand-picked sencha.

Water From the Alzola spring, Izarraitz Massif, in the Basque Country.

Elaboration Once in contact with cultures of bacteria and yeast, the infusions, prepared using spring water, begin to ferment. Both precision and balance are fundamental in the transformation of the kombucha. These factors, together with the continued evolution and aging in the bottle, are what allow Ama to become its own distinctive self.

Ageing Ama pét-nat tea is aged in the bottle for six months. It will continue to improve over time and can be aged for up to three years.

Master brewers Dani Lasa and Ramon Perisé.

Pairings Versatile and adaptable. Ideal for accompanying oily fish, oysters, clams and other shellfish.
When to drink Ideal both as an aperitif or by the bottle to accompany different types of cuisine or as a cocktail mixer.
Serve Preferably at 9–11ºC/48–52°F in a white wine glass. Handle and open carefully to preserve the bubbles. The sediment (the small particles of lees resulting from fermentation) present in each bottle can be served or kept in the bottle.
Storage Store in a cool, dry place.

2015 Accendo Cellars Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Bart and Daphne Araujo’s new project, following the incredible success and eventual sale of Araujo Estate

2015 Accendo Cellars Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon....$329.99
Produced from 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon offers up profound wild blueberries, freshly crushed blackberries and chocolate-covered cherries scents with suggestions of Chinese five spice, Sichuan pepper, bay leaves and lavender plus a savory touch of yeast extract. Medium to full-bodied, it fills the mouth with expressive, multilayered blue and black fruits, all supported by ripe, fine-grained tannins and a lively backbone, finishing long with a compelling earthiness coming through.
Rated 97+/100 The Wine Advocate

"Accendo Cellars is Bart and Daphne Araujo’s new project, following the incredible success and eventual sale of Araujo Estate, now known as Eisele Vineyard after the property’s jewel vineyard that dates back to the 1800s, which was purchased by Francois Pinault of Chateau Latour fame in 2013. So, what could the Araujo’s possibly do for a follow-up act to reestablishing one of Napa Valley’s most historic, iconic single vineyards? They decided to take inspiration from another era in Napa’s rich history—that of the mid-twentieth century, when blending wines from vineyards throughout the valley was the norm. The Araujos explained that Accendo Cellars is about getting back to “old style Napa,” somewhat in spite of global warming. They wanted to achieve wines of restraint and elegance by being able to bring in fruit earlier, but they also wanted to achieve all the layers and complexity possessed by the greatest wines of the world. They have thus far selected to work with several vineyards, including Sleeping Lady, Vine Hill Ranch and Oakville Ranch, to produce their first efforts. The blending process is overseen by none other than master-blender Michel Rolland. Bravo to the Araujos and Rolland for, in particular, superbly capturing the best of the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon vintage attributes so singularly and poignantly!" -- The Wine Advocate

100% Sauvignon Blanc - Loire Valley
"Made from a blend of four terroirs, this Pouilly Fumé is the heart of our production." - winemaker
The intensity and richness of this wine are impressive. They promise good aging, with a texture that has a taut citrus-zest character as well as powerful white fruits. Green-fruit acidity gives both texture and freshness. Drink from 2022.
Rated 91/100 The Wine Enthusiast
Ripe tangerine and lemon mousse flavors are flanked with vivid undertones of flint, heather and grapefruit that are lengthened out on the long finish. Drink now. 5,833 cases made, only 450 cases imported

2020 Domaine Cédrick Bardin Sancerre...$29.99
100% Sauvignon Blanc - Loire Valley
25 Year Old vines.
"Typical expression of Sauvignon Blanc. This Sancerre comes from a flinty terroir, characterised by its minerality, freshness and finesse. Can be appreciated as an aperitif, with Crottin de Chavignol (goats cheese) or grilled fish. Best drunk in the 5 years after vintage." - Winemaker
Pale yellow with green reflections. The nose presents a good intensity from the opening. The first notes are expressed on the exotic fruits (passion fruit, guava and lychee). Notes of lime as well as a a touch of white pepper allows the nose to express a nice freshness. From start to mid-palate, the balance is frank, chiseled and fresh. A certain sweetness then coats the palate. A slight bitterness remains at the end of the mouth, recalling the citrus notes (grapefruit, bitter orange) on the nose.

2020 Mount Fishtail Sauvignon Blanc Sur Lie...$14.99

Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc - New Zealand
Made Sur Lie method - Sancerre style

Aromas of feijoa, kiwifruit and rock melon flavors with a lovely lemon zest overtone. It’s intense and concentrated with classic varietal characters combined with refreshing acidity, offering terrific drinking. Beautiful (slightly creamy) middle palate texture that sits flush on your palate, but does not compromise acidity. An elegant style that leaves a lasting
impression. -- winemaker tasting notes

2020 Château Maison Neuve Sauvignon White Bordeaux...$15.99
100% Sauvignon Blanc from old vines - Bordeaux
Great White Bordeaux!
This wine presents a pale yellow color that is very fresh on the nose with the classic Sauvignon characteristics of gooseberries. Dry and full bodied, its finish is long and mellow with just a hint of citrus. The wine is made with very low yields from 25 year old vines.

2020 Simi Sauvignon Blanc...$9.98
99% Sauvignon Blanc, 1% Semillon -- California
This brilliantly clear, pale-straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc is fresh, bright, and vibrant. Fruit-forward flavors and aromas of stone fruit, apricot, orange blossom, grapefruit, lemon oil, a touch of herbaceousness, and a hint of floral character meld beautifully with a vibrant acidity. Its succulent mouthfeel leads to the minerally finish that exemplifies Sauvignon Blanc.99%

2019 Chateau Crabitey Graves Blanc...$31.99
70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Semillon - Bordeaux
Age of vines Average 30 years
Chateau Crabitey Graves Blanc displays a fine, light yellow color and a nice brilliance. Its nose is fine and complex - even lemony with its pomelo scent - with some smoky notes. In the mouth, the wine is fully developed and complex, with a nice volume as well as a light acidity for the freshness. The finish is long and distinguishes itself by nice and light woody and citrus fruit aromas.
"A fresh, tangy white with sliced lime and green-apple character. It’s medium-to full-bodied. Fruity finish. Creamy texture."

Rated 92/100 The Tasting Panel
The wine boasts a deep-red cherry color with purple tones at the edges and offers intense aromas of black berries with toasted nuances from the oak. Balsamic and spicy underscore. It is powerful and flavorful on the palate with very fine and ripe tannins. A long and persistent aftertaste.

2019 Cayuse Vineyards Syrah Cailloux Vineyard Walla Walla

2019 Cayuse Vineyards Syrah Cailloux Vineyard Walla Walla...$119.99
2019 has not been reviewed - but look at this track record!

2018 Vintage
97 Points. Blended with a good chunk of Viognier (from the same vineyard and co-fermented), the 2018 Syrah Cailloux Vineyard offers a sweet nose of red and blue fruits, lavender, spring flowers, and bacon fat, with subtle classic Rocks notes of mulch and charcoal emerging with time in the glass. Incredibly complex, medium to full-bodied, and seamless, it reminds me of an old-school Côte Rôtie with its exotic, floral, yet meaty style. This cuvée is always one of the more up-front Syrahs in the lineup, yet it ages just as well as the others, possessing a solid 20- to 25-year drink window.
Rated 97/100 Jeb Dunnuck
96 Points. This has a fantastic range of savory aromas with smoked meat, herbs, grilled aubergine, bark, dried flowers, shells and blue and black fruit. It’s medium-to full-bodied with firm, chewy tannins and fresh acidity. Intensely flavorful with earthy, peppery character. Very long. Drink or hold
Rated 96/100 James Suckling
96 Points. A real knockout Syrah, structured and refined yet bubbling over with personality, offering expressive raspberry, garrigue, warm pebble and smoky beef tones that build tension and polish toward fine-grained tannins. Drink now through 2032.
Rated 96/100 Wine Spectator
95 Points. Co-fermented with 6% Viognier, the 2018 Syrah Cailloux Vineyard begins with dusty and smokey expressions of cured meats, black pepper and blackberry compote. Medium to full-bodied, the wine displays a ripe yet firm character with impeccable mineral tension, elements of smoked lavender and roasted herbs before dusty plum and black cherry skin sway with an umami essence and succulent, fine-grained tannins. Concluding with a long-lingering, evolving finish, the Syrah will have no problem aging past its 15th birthday... Bravo, it's delicious
Rated 95/100 The Wine Advocate
94 Points. Coming from the first vineyard planted in this area of the valley in 1997 and cofermented with Viognier, the aromas are expressive, with notes of raspberry, orange peel, soot, grilled meat and stem, showing more overt fruit out of the gate than this wine and area often does. The palate is broad in feel, with plentiful pyrazine notes on the finish. It needs time to fully show itself, but the rewards will be plentiful
Rated 94/100 Wine Enthusiast

2017 Vintage

97 Points. …Ruby/purple-hued, with a rocking bouquet of black raspberries, smoked game, black pepper, and spring flowers, it has plenty of classic Rocks funkiness and meaty notes, medium to full body, a core of sweet fruit, and a great, great finish. It ranks with the top two to three wines in this vintage
Rated 97/100 Jeb Dunnuck
97 Points. Lots of blackberry, tar and blueberry aromas with hints of dried earth. Full bodied, tight and focused with intensity and savoriness in the center palate. Plush and attractive at the end, but not overpowering.
Rated 97/100 James Suckling
96 Points. The 2017 Syrah Cailloux Vineyard begins generous and inky in the glass, with black fruit at its core and floral aromas of violets and lavender followed by a soft smokiness with layers of olive tapenade and dust-covered black raspberry. Full-bodied, the Cailloux Syrah is intensely complex and reveals layers of crunchy minerality and silky tannins that frame the elegant notions of cherry blossom in the mouth. Ending with a long-lingering and sophisticated finish, the wine continues to reveal its subtleties, expressing umami and savory characteristics. Proving to be yet another stellar bottling from the Cayuse team, the wine dares me to keep my hands off the glass. I can’t…
Rated 96/100 The Wine Advocate
94 Points. Structured and impeccably layered, with rich and expressive blueberry and raspberry flavors, laced with licorice, bacon fat and crushed stone notes that pick-up speed toward refined tannins. Drink now through 2030.
Rated 94/100 Wine Spectator

2016 Vintage

98 Points. The 2016 Syrah Cailloux Vineyard checks in as 96% Syrah and 4% Viognier that was fermented with roughly 70-80% stems and brought up in 15% new demi-muids and foudre. This beauty has incredible elegance and purity as well as full-bodied richness, complex notes of blackberry, cherries, stone hearth, decayed flowers, and salted meats, and a savory style that’s going to benefit from 3-4 years of bottle age and keep for 15 years or more.
Rated 98/100 Jeb Dunnuck
97 Points. The 2016 Syrah Cailloux Vineyard is co-fermented with 4% Viognier in a Côte-Rôtie style that delivers a red and black-fruited nose with a floral grip and rustic rockiness. It is medium to full-bodied on the palate, with a soft smokiness and olive notes, resulting in an exquisite and structured wine with a focus on terroir. It is thoughtfully balanced on the long-lingering finish with a tannic edge and lifting acidity. This is really well-made wine.
Rated 97/100 The Wine Advocate
95 Points. Aromas of peeled orange, fresh flower, ground black pepper, bacon fat, potpourri, funk, truffle, sea salt, soot and crushed rock are at the fore. The flavors are intensely rich—grabbing you and shaking you around—while still retaining a compelling sense of elegance that ups the interest. An extended, flower-filled finish follows.
Rated 95/100 Wine Enthusiast

95 Points. … Alluring savory perfume of raspberry, smoke, pork rind, African violet and red licorice. Wonderfully fine-grained, pretty wine with terrific energy and inner-mouth lift… The flavors of red fruits and spices are perked up by a suggestion of apricot pit that I often find in Côte-Rôties made with a bit of Viognier. This beautifully filled-in midweight boasts stunning aromatic complexity…
Rated 95/100 Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
94 Points. This syrah is co-fermented with some viognier (the only Cayuse wine to do this) and it has an ethereal edge of yellow plums, white pepper, bacon fat and flowers, all in the mix. A lot of whole-cluster influence here (60-70%). The palate has such deep-set fresh fruit and an attractive, long and juicy feel that carries a silky, long finish. Effortlessly exotic. Drink or hold.
Rated 94/100 James Suckling

2015 Vintage

(95-97) Points. The only wine to be cofermented with Viognier, the 2015 Syrah Cailloux Vineyard is a perfumed, floral and honeysuckle-scented beauty that gives up more bacon fat, soot and dark fruits with time in the glass. It’s one of the most seamless and silky in the lineup, and I suspect it will be the most approachable on release as well.
Rated 95-97/100 Jeb Dunnuck, The Wine Advocate

2014 Vintage
100 Points. Incorporating a touch more Viognier than normal, the 2014 Syrah Cailloux Vineyard is 93% Syrah and 7% Viognier from the first vineyard planted in the stones region of Walla Walla. Sporting a surprisingly deep, inky color, it offers a heavenly bouquet of black olives, tobacco leaf, smoked meats, pepper, blackcurrant and black cherry notes. Deep, rich and ever changing in the glass, with incredible complexity and layers, this full-bodied masterpiece has building tannin, a stacked mid-palate and a great, great finish. It's pure perfection in Syrah, and the finest vintage of this cuvee ever made. As a bonus, it’s also the largest production Syrah they produce. Bravo!
Rated 100/100 Jeb Dunnuck, The Wine Advocate
95 Points. Impressively well-built and expressive, with evocative raspberry and smoky bacon aromas and sleek, dynamic black cherry, crushed rock and green olive flavors that build momentum toward refined tannins.
Rated 95/100 Wine Spectator

Against the Grain Bo & Luke Barrel Aged Stout

Against the Grain Bo & Luke Barrel Aged Stout...$5.99 / 16oz can
Against the Grain Bo & Luke Barrel Aged Stout...$21.99 / 4pk
Originally an Against the Grain Brewery and Brouwerij De Molen collaboration beer. For the first incarnation, De Molen head brewer Menno Oliver hopped in a muscle car and drove straight through from the Netherlands to Louisville, KY (that’s USA folks) to brew this bourbon inspired ale, and we liked it so much, we decided to do it again. We took the ingredients in bourbon whiskey (Barley, Rye, Corn) and then smoked them with cherry wood and brewed a huge imperial stout with them. Then to top it off we aged it in Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon Barrels. The resulting beer is rich, smokey and complex, with a bourbon character of caramel, vanilla and spice.

Highland Park Viking Heart 15 Year Old

Highland Park Viking Heart 15 Year Old...$89.99
Compare to Total Wine and More at $109.99
ABV : 44%
This is a wonderfully rich and complex single malt. Opening with rich and spicy aromas of crème brulee, heather honey and crumbled cinnamon, intensely fruity notes follow - fresh pineapple dressed with a scattering of sun-kissed lemon zest. There’s a hint of freshly-baked sponge cake too, warm from the oven, and you’ll find cinnamon again, but toasted shards this time. Citrus and vanilla notes linger in the aromatic waves of peat smoke.
To create 15 Year Old Viking Heart, Gordon Motion, our Master Whisky Maker, selected predominantly sherry seasoned European oak casks to deliver warm, spicy notes and sherry seasoned American oak casks to provide a balance of sweet vanilla. Expertly adding just a few refill casks to soften and smooth the flavours, Gordon chose to bottle at 44% ABV to allow the whisky’s vibrant fruitiness and distinctive heathery peat smoke to shine through.

Why a ceramic decanter? Rewind a century or two and our whisky would have been stored in earthenware vessels. Inspired by examples found at our distillery in Orkney, we asked Wade Ceramics if they could work with us to create a modern version. Established in 1810 and based in Stoke-on-Trent in England (known globally as the traditional home of ceramics) Wade share our commitment to environmental responsibility, focusing on sustainable manufacturing and using locally sourced raw materials. The lead-free porcelain decanter is 100% food safe, glazed inside and out, and embossed with the lion and serpent design that appears on many of our glass bottles. Look closely at the back of the bottle and you’ll find the heart motif that inspired this whisky’s name.

We’ve been crafting our award-winning whisky at the Highland Park Distillery in Kirkwall, Orkney, since 1798. Age, experience and respect for tradition may define our whisky, but it’s Orkney that sets it apart. Something magic happens here and the result is the wild harmony of flavours found in our whisky.
