Avery Paws and Claws IPA

Avery Paws and Claws IPA....$9.99 / 6pk cans
Hazy and Dank
West Coast hops meet East Coast haze in this dank and juicy IPA. In the polarizing times we live in, we’re constantly told to pick a side. But we’re sick of it. We wanted to get back to our Boulder roots of peace, love, and happiness. With these ideals in mind, our brewers set out to make an IPA that would highlight the beauty of both West Coast and East Coast IPAs in one argument-crushing beer. Our brewers use new school dry hopping techniques to give Paws & Claws IPA a genuine and juicy haze, while Simcoe, Centennial, Chinook, and Cascade hops deliver the piney hop flavor and aroma of your favorite West Coast IPA. Why pick one when you can have the paw and the claw?

Gour de Chaule Gigondas Rosé “Amour de Rose”

2019 Gour de Chaule Gigondas Rosé “Amour de Rose”...$27.99
Gour de Chaulé is a stalwart source of great Gigondas and their rosé is an absolute must-try. Comprising 40% Grenache, 40% Cinsault, and 20% Mourvèdre and produced from saignée and direct press. Though it clocks in at 14.5% alcohol, it is harmonious and fresh. In fact, it’s hard to imagine a more graceful and complex rosé from the Southern Rhône.

New 2019 Rose

Commanderie de Peyrassol is synonomous with classical Provencal rose and has an impressively illustrious with the first vintage dating back to 1256. The Commanderie was founded by the Knights of Templar, then went under contol of the Knights of Malta until French Revolution when the State took it over. The Rigord family purchased the estate in 1870; but, it was not until 1977 when Madame Rigord decided to make and bottle the wines commercially.

This collection of 2019s sees c firing on all cylinders in a vintage exceedingly favorable to their style of wine.

2019 Peyrassol “La Croix” IGP Méditerranée Rosé...$14.99
Produced from roughly equal parts Grenache and Cinsault, plus a splash of Rolle (Vermentino. It offers the precision and elegance that characterizes all the estate’s rosés, albeit in a more direct, fruit-forward manner than its stablemates below.

2019 Peyrassol “Cuvée de la Commanderie” Côtes de Provence Rosé...$21.99
Peyrassol’s perennial workhorse hits a bullseye in 2019. Comprising 30% each Grenache, Cinsault, and Syrah, with small amounts of Tibouren and Mourvèdre completing the blend, the beloved “Commanderie” offers the tension, salinity, and crystalline fruit that characterize this wine every year. Breezy deliciousness.

2019 “Le Clos Peyrassol” Côtes de Provence Rosé...$56.99
Predominantly Tibouren, with the balance of the blend being Grenache and Rolle, Peyrassol's super pale 2019 Cotes de Provence Rose Le Clos Peyrassol offers up scents of crushed stone, garrigue, white peach and lime, all tinged with tart red berries. It's medium-bodied on the palate, with a silky-wet stone feel and a lingering finish that seems to build in red fruit intensity while remaining citrusy and refreshing at the same time. One of the best wines in this year's tasting, this is a limited-production cuvée from a walled vineyard located on the estate formerly known as Commanderie de Peyrassol.

Citadelle Gin LITER bottle

We have an amazing price! (as usual!)
Citadelle Gin Original...$23.99 / Liters  (33% more than a 750ml)
Compare to $24.99 for a 750ml at Total Wine and More
The 19 aromatics that make up Citadelle are infused, according to their profile, between one and four days – a crucial time so that Citadelle can acquire its distinguished profile. It is then distilled in small copper stills over open flames in order to develop its suppleness and voluptuous character in the mouth.

Citadelle Gin exudes delicate aromas of fresh flowers highlighted by more assertive citric scents. Once served, it emanates more intense, herbaceous notes of juniper and anise; then, the spicy cinnamon side softens the nose, bringing a very gourmand dimension to the gin. On the palate, the juniper cedes to a long, voluptuous, spicy fragrance.

But while Citadelle offers complete aromatic richness, its three character traits remain:
– Juniper, its signature, the key base of Citadelle
– Citrus, the complementary note that underlines the juniper
– Exotic, offering an additional level of enjoyment with touches of pepper, nutmeg and cinnamon.

Beautifully balanced, it is elegant, soft and and long in the mouth, with an alcohol content of 44%. A perfect equilibrium between intensity and finesse.

Citadelle has won more than 60 medals, among them “Spirit of the Year” at the 2017 World Spirit Awards as well as “World’s Best Gin” and “Gin Grand Master” in London. Its bottle hasn’t escaped attention either; it was awarded a gold medal at the Spirits Design Master 2017.

Intensely mineral profile, with floral and orange peel nuances. Reveals a great purity in the mouth, of refined but austere style, serious, strong, and very sophisticated.
Recognized as one the foremost producers of boutique vinho verde in Portugal, Quinta do Regueiro is fast becoming synonymous with top shelf avant garde white wines.
Since 1988, Quinta do Regueiro has been using old-school methods to produce some of the most prized Alvarinhos in Portugal. Having started with one single vineyard in the estate's "backyard," today, Quinta do Regueiro is producing approximately 40,000 bottles of Alvarinho (and blends). With a style recognized by few and admired by all, these wines are all about the details...these, begin in the vineyard.

GRAPES: Encruzado, Malvasia Fina, Cerceal

2018 Horgelus Côtes Gascogne de Blanc....$9.99
40% Sauvignon and 60% Gros Manseng

We taste so many Cotes de Gascogne and most are just boring and insipid. Horgeuls is exciting and vibrant!
The estate is run now by Yoan Le Menn, his son. Yoan represents the younger generation of oenologists who work tirelessly to combine modernity and experience. The biggest task is preserving of the aromas by limiting, as much as possible, all forms of oxidation of the “must” and the wines. For this reason the grapes are harvested early in the morning – from 3am to 11 am – in order to take advantage of the cool air. On the other hand, the carbon dioxide from the alcoholic fermentation is recuperated to protect the newly pressed juice. From the grape to the bottling process, everything is designed to preserve the fruity flavors and freshness of our wines.

2018 Heritage Familial Bordeaux Blanc...$15.99
This is a fantastic value made by a great Bordeaux Family- Franc de Ferriere. The family vineyard is located to the east of the Bordeaux wine region, about 25 minutes from Saint-Emilion. Wines of the Franc de Ferriere family originate from a unique area on the hills of the Dordogne river, giving the appellation all of its originality and grace. Our philosophy and practices are constantly evolving in order to produce wines that are unique, elegant and full of flavours.

Stone Soaring Dragon Imperial IPA

Stone Soaring Dragon Imperial IPA...$15.99 /6pk 12oz cans
A few of our brewers took a side trip to the famous Tianshan Tea City market to experience the legend themselves. They were blown away. Inspired, they began experimenting back home, learning how well the delicate, floral qualities of these teas worked in combination with certain hop varieties. This imperial IPA loaded with White Tea is the result of that bountiful trip and the resulting experimentation. The amazing aromas and flavor profile of this beer are witness to the joy of experimentation and a testament to making time for side trips.

Ommegang Solera Tart Golden Ale

Ommegang Solera Tart Golden Ale...$11.99 / 4pk cans
Gently tart, delicately sweet and completely refreshing, Solera is an incomparable ale crafted for Ommegang by Liefmans, our sister blendery in Belgium.

A mixed-culture fermentation in open copper vats is followed by months of aging. Similar in approach to the classic “solera method” of blending liquids of varying ages, master blenders regularly mix new batches with older ones to achieve the perfect balance of sweet and sour.

Founders Brewing Barrel Aged Mas Agave

Founders Brewing Barrel Aged Mas Agave...$13.99 / 4pk
We love cocktails. Like, really love them. If you ask us, few are more refreshing than the tart and tangy margarita and our latest barrel-aged beer pays tribute to that perennial classic. We took an imperial gose brewed with agave, lime and sea salt and then aged it in tequila barrels for just the right amount of kick. Consider it a party in a bottle. Más Agave!
Founders Brewing Barrel Aged Mas Agave GRAPEFRUIT...$13.99 / 4pk
BARREL-AGED IMPERIAL GRAPEFRUIT GOSE
The cocktail inspiration lives on. Our imperial gose is brewed with agave and sea salt before being aged in tequila barrels. But it doesn’t end there. Once it’s pulled from the barrels, it gets a dose of fresh grapefruit juice to ramp up the tanginess and to pay homage to our other favorite tequila-based cocktail, the Paloma. Sweet, salty, and mouth-puckeringly delicious. ¡Más Agave… Grapefruit!

1. A person who demands ingredients that are free from impure elements.
2. A ridiculously clean beer.

DEMAND MORE FROM YOUR BEER
Made with organic, traceable ingredients for a clean, refreshing taste, The Purist clean lager is a whole new idea of what beer can be.

WE DON’T SETTLE FOR LESS THAN PRISTINE
Great beer requires great water. But we don’t settle for “great,” we demand better. That’s why we use the purest mountain water from the Poudre River in Fort Collins, CO. All so you get a cleaner, more refreshing beer.

WE CAN TRACE OUR ORGANIC HOPS & MALTS BACK TO THEIR SOURCE
We’ve brewed organic beer since the 1990s, so we know the importance of sourcing clean ingredients. Our organic barley is grown by Oregon farmers with decades of experience, then malted by the oldest maltster in the Western U.S. And our organic hops are grown on an Oregon farm founded in the 1920s. Sure, the actual brewing process is a pain in the you-know-what, but it’s worth it.

Sierra Nevada Hop Bullet Double IPA...$7.99 / 6pk
Brewed with a double-barreled blast of Magnum hops and lupulin dust.

Hops are the name of the game with a Double IPA, but we knew we had to take it one step further. With Hop Bullet, we’re using a new technique, hitting the beer with a double-barreled blast of Magnum hops and lupulin dust—pure, concentrated hop flavor—directly into the tank to emphasize the intense pine and citrus flavors of classic West Coast hops.

Sierra Nevada Hazy Little Thing IPA...$7.99 / 6pk cans
A hop-heavy, unfiltered, hazy little thing called IPA.
As brewers, we get the privilege to sample our beers straight from the tanks in all their raw glory. Some beers need a little polishing to get ready to go out into the world, while others—the hop-heavy, rowdy, crowd-pleasers—should just be left alone. We wanted to share this brewery-only treat with you, so we present this Hazy Little Thing, our unfiltered, unprocessed IPA, straight from the tanks and into the can.

Sierra Nevada Fantastic Haze Imperial IPA...$9.99 / 6pk cans

We were in search of something fantastic. Something juicy, something hazy, something ripe with notes of mango, melon and citrus. So we said, "Reason be damned," and filled our kettles with five hop varieties and loads of malt, oats and wheat. Some may call that absurd. We call it absurdly fantastic.

Our collaboration brew is an exciting mix that combines a fruity hop taste with a balanced bitter-malty flavor.
Biburger’s Hops Guarantee We only use the best hop varieties for our Bitburger hop recipe. We are especially proud of our own “Bitburger Siegelhopfen,” a seal hops blend that we grow with great care just a few kilometers from our brewery and use exclusively for our beer.

All about the “Bitburger Siegelhopfen”

In May 2019, our Bitburger brewers Jan Niewodniczanski, Stefan Meyna and Stefan Hanke went to visit the Sierra Nevada brewery in Mills River, North Carolina – now it was time for us to return the favor and host our American brewing friends in Bitburg. And once again, everything revolved around beer, hops and brewing together.
With enthusiasm and passion: The brewers from Bitburger and Sierra Nevada enjoy introducing their beers and their latest collaboration brew. Cheers to the brewing friendship and to our Triple Hop’d Lager!

2017 Maybach Materium $203.99 /
750ml
2017 Maybach Materium $109.99 / 375ml
The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Materium is one of the wines of the vintage and, as I wrote last year, a solid step up over the Amoenus release. Loads of liquid violets, flowery incense, sappy herbs, graphite, and assorted blue fruits all flow to a full-bodied, thrillingly textured, pure, sensationally concentrated Cabernet Sauvignon. Super rich, plush, yet flawlessly balanced, it too is going to benefit from 2-3 years of bottle age and keep for two decades.
Rated 98/100 Jeb Dunnuck

2017 Maybach Amoenus...$170.99
From a single vineyard in Calistoga, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Amoenus isn’t far off what the estate produced in 2016. It’s a pure, full-bodied, powerful 2017 that does everything right. Loads of blueberries, cassis, Asian spice, and flowery incense define the bouquet, and it has a pure, classic, focused style on the palate. I love its purity of fruit, it has ripe, present tannins, and while it needs 2-3 years of bottle age, it’s going to evolve gracefully for 15-20 years
Rated 96/100 Jeb Dunnuck

Champagne Larmandier-Bernier

Champagne Larmandier-Bernier
Following the advice of one of our customers we brought in a few cases of the NV Larmandier-Bernier Longitude for the holidays. It was a huge hit with both our customers and our staff. So we dug a little deeper into their portfolio and have a great selection from this wonderful Champagne House in stock now at Forsyth

NV Larmandier-Bernier Longitude Blanc de Blanc 1er Cru...$63.99
Lovely classy green-gold colour shouts Chardonnay. Minerals, chalk, a hint of spices, and fine, fine tension in the mouth. Moreish and complete, a fine long wine. SF: Lively and energetic. The palate is spicy and firm with a soft white pepper backdrop. An accessible and ripe style, fresh and poised at the same time. TH: Slightly closed nose with grapefruit. Pretty high-pitched lemon pith notes coming through. It's a little uncompromising and hard for general champagne drinkers maybe, but this is a winner for those who like it honed, dry and persistent.
Rated 95/100 Decanter
Rated 94/100 Vinous

NV Larmandier-Bernier Rose de Saignee Extra Brut...$85.99
Larmandier-Bernier’s Extra Brut Rosé de Saignée just sensational. The Rosé is endowed with stunning depth, richness and explosive aromatic intensity. Over the last few vintages, the Larmandier’s have moved their Rosé away from the dark, overt wines of the past to a style that emphasizes focus and cut. Those qualities come through loud and clear in a Champagne that sizzles with tension. A whole range of floral and savory overtones punctuate the striking finish. Simply magnificent. Run, don’t walk.
Rated 95/100 Vinous
Rated 96/100 The Wine Advocate

2013 Larmandier-Bernier Terre de Vertus Non Dose....$78.99
A more composed and contained vintage for chardonnay, this blanc de blancs is an assemblage of six parcels, all closely located in the village of Vertus, totaling 2.5 hectares. The nose has a very fresh and chalky edge with dried flowers and fresh lemons. The palate has a very succulent, composed and elegant shape with powerful, contained fruit. A cooler vintage has refined this nicely. Super dry, mineral finish. A strong vintage for this Champagne. Drink or hold.

Rated 94/100 The Wine Advocate

2012 Larmandier-Bernier Les Chemins d'Avize...$129.99
Disgorged in March 2018 to be released later this year is the 2012 Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Les Chemins d'Avize, an impressive wine that wafts from the glass with scents of almond paste, pear, lemon and crushed chalk that are gently wood-inflected at this early stage, though I expect that will be hard to discern with a few more months on cork. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, rich and textural, with a deep and multidimensional core and a precise, lively finish. I'm looking forward to revisiting it.
