NEW 2020 IS HERE!
Best value in Pinot Grigio
2020 Ornato Pinot Grigio...$12.99
This Pinot Grigio is grown at the foot of the remains of what was once the stunning villa of the della Scala family, one of the most influential families in Verona from the early 1200's to the late 1300's. In Italian, Ornato means ornate or adorned. This label celebrates the beautiful, complex taste of the Della Scala family and the Gothic art of that period.
Color: Brilliant straw colored wine with golden reflections.
Bouquet: Fresh and floral bouquet with a hint of pears, apricots and bananas blended with the intense aroma of acacia flowers.
Taste: Fresh and inviting with bright fruit and an easy drinking style with a pleasing hint of almonds in the aftertaste.
The agriculture is sustainable. No chemical fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides are used.
100% Pinot Grigio
Seafood dishes, risottos with scampi, spaghetti with clams, sole in white wine.
Belle Meade Cask Strength Reserve Bourbon...$54.99
- 54.15% ABV
- 108.3 proof
We taste every barrel in our inventory and reserve the ones that taste good enough to be a Single Barrel but don't have a high enough proof to be a Single Barrel. We batch these reserve barrels with others barrels in our inventory that raise the proof of the batch while accentuating the flavors of those reserve barrels. When blended together, these barrels of well-aged bourbon create a product that is greater than the sum of its individual parts.
Each small batch of our Reserve is comprised of just seven of these exceptional barrels.
Belle Meade Bourbon Cask Strength Reserve is a bold bourbon for those who appreciate whiskey straight from the barrel. Try it neat, on the rocks, with a splash of water, or use it to kick the flavor of your favorite cocktail up a few notches

We have not seen this since 2019!
An ode to our smallest yet most essential still, the 'Wee Witchie'. This 12-year-old Single Malt Scotch Whisky has been double cask matured in both European and American oak to enhance the distinctively rich and robust character that makes Mortlach whiskies legendary.
SelvaRey White Rum...$31.99
ELEVATING THE CATEGORY
The base spirit of some of the greatest and most delicious cocktails — Mojitos, Cuba Libres, Mai Tais, Daiquiris — has historically been undrinkable on its own. We set out to change all that. We decided to make a white rum fine enough to sip on the rocks, but that would elevate, rather than bring down, a great drink.
A RICH, SMOOTH BLEND
A three-year-old rum brings the youth and vibrancy of fresh-cut sugarcane which is rounded out with notes of caramel and butterscotch from a mature five-year-old rum. This blend is delicately charcoal-filtered to remove the color, leaving elegance in its place.

Geijer Spirits California Fernet...$35.99 / 750ml
Our Fernet will make its mark on the current amari landscape. It is rich and complex, yet not overpowering. It is grassier and less sweet than other Fernets on the market, and its 21 roots, herbs and spices are playfully balanced for the drinker. The botanicals are macerated for months and the final product rests in tanks until it has reached bottling mellowness. A dry and grassy Fernet that slaps you in the face — in a good way. BASE: Neutral Grain Spirit (Corn) Ingredients: Though the recipe is a secret, we can share that our Fernet contains Cinchona bark and Gentian root amongst the bittering agents. The roots, herbs and spices were intentionally selected to create a harmonious, yet challenging everyday Fernet.
2013 Ravenswood Icon Sonoma County Red...$19.99
Regular price $39.99
A twisted, youthful nod to Sonoma County's past, this liquid tribute holds 33% Zinfandel and 33% Petite Sirah plus smaller amounts of Carignane and Alicante Bouschet. Violet and lavender aromas come atop big, leathery, syrupy black fruit with a sizable presence of grip. In the end, there's harmony and understanding.

Some wines have cute animals on their labels. Others have pastoral scenes, or a drawing of a chateau. This wine has a bunch of light bulbs, fitting for a wine that’s all brightness and light. It’s an unlikely blend of tocai friulano from Mendocino, riesling from Arroyo Seco, verdelho from Suisun Valley and sauvignon blanc from Potter Valley, that’s brisk and lively, with floral and herbal aromas and flavors. Folk Machine, a label from Kenny Likitprakong’s Hobo Wine Company, specializes in moderately priced, easygoing bottles that are nonetheless interesting. You can never have too many of those. -Eric Asimov NYT
I love this wine. I wrote about the 2018 vintage last year, but it’s well worth revisiting. This bottle, from the Tuscan coast, is a blend of alicante nero, as grenache is called in that area, with mourvèdre, carignan, sangiovese and alicante bouschet. The blend doesn’t seem particularly Italian, yet has a specifically Tuscan quality of sweet-bitter earthy, cherry flavors. It’s fragrant and graceful, and would take well to a light chill. -Eric Asimov NYT

Civil Life Oktoberfest Lager...$9.99 / 6pk cans
Oktoberfest is a fall seasonal beer by design: a slow-fermented, relatively strong amber lager brewed and cellared each year in advance of the world's biggest beer festival. In true form, we brew ours annually for our big anniversary party. Though our turnout is a bit smaller than the Munich Oktoberfest (6 million people!), this remains our fastest selling beer. Brewed in strict accordance with the Reinheitsgebot with authentically German barley malt, hops, and yeast. Clean and classic. Rich malts but not too sweet, grainy, a little nutty and toasty, balanced bitterness from flowery German hops. Only six breweries are allowed to supply the Oktoberfest München. The organizers approached us this year about becoming #7, but we turned them down because we're saving the rest for you (well, that very last part is true, so come and get it!)
FOR THE CURIOUS:
COLOUR: clear deep orange amber with firm off-white foam
BJCP STYLE: 6A. European Amber Lager: Oktoberfest/Märzen
INGREDIENTS: German Pilsener and aromatic malts. German bittering and aroma hops. German lager yeast. South St. Louis City water and labor.

2014 Chateau Coutet St. Emilion Grand Cru Bordeaux....$24.99
Lowest price on Wine-Searcher is $34.99
This wine comes from a rare estate, in the same family since 1537, that has never used chemicals in the vineyard. The wine is richly endowed, spicy and juicy with soft tannins and a pure, crisp texture. It is poised, elegant and waiting to age further

2016 Bodegas Castano Alcaria....$6.99
A custom cuvée made for importer Eric Solomon with Jean-Marc Lafage, the 2016 Alcaria is a blend of 50% Monastrell, 25% Syrah, and the balance Garnacha, brought up in a mix of French and American oak barrels. An incredible value that more than over-delivers, this deeply colored red boasts terrific notes of ripe black fruits, chocolate, smoked herbs, and graphite. With full-boded richness and a sexy, opulent style on the palate, it opens up nicely in the glass and should keep for 2-4 years.

2017 Domaine Giraud Chateauneuf du Pape Tradition...$29.99
Coming in (rating-wise) right where I projected it would last year, Giraud's 2017 Chateauneuf du Pape is a terrific example of a cuvée tradition. At 80% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 5% Mourvèdre, it's a pretty typical blend yet one that exceeds expectations. It's full-bodied, plush and velvety, showing ample ripeness—raspberries, cherries, and stone fruit—without going over the top into cooked fruit. No, it doesn't show that much complexity at this age, but some of that will emerge over the next decade or so. 2019 - 2032
Rated 93/100 The Wine Advocate
I loved the 2017 Châteauneuf Du Pape, and I’d certainly be happy with a case in the cellar. Offering a pure, elegant, incredibly Grenache-driven profile of sweet black raspberries, incense, violets, and garrigue, it’s medium to full-bodied, ethereal, and elegant on the palate. It’s already hard to resist yet will keep for 10-15 years.

2016 Craggy Range Te Muna Single Vineyard Pinot Noir...$25.99
Compare to $35.99 at Total Wine and More
Lovely ripe red cherry, dark plum and raspberry perfume with a note of cinnamon and smoke. There’s good texture here and some layers of complexity running from savory to violet. Fresh and elegant.
Rated 95/100 Decanter Magazine
Dark, fleshy blackberry and black cherry flavors are intense and concentrated, with notes of fresh earth, forest floor and white pepper on a velvety frame. Hints of black tea linger on the finish. Drink now through 2030. 8,200 cases made, 700 cases imported.
Rated 91/100 The Wine Spectator
An attractive, fresh and alluring pinot noir that has plenty of forthright ripe cherry and plum fruit aromas and flavors. Assertive but charming on the palate. Neat wine.
