Aged on the lees for 6 months for extra complexity.  

An amazing white wine blend!!!
White wine accounts for only 4% of the entire production of Costières de Nimes.
The Château Virgile Blanc is a beautiful example of a white Rhône. The addition of Rolle to the blend has brightened up the wine, making it a bit livelier than in previous vintages. The Roussanne, adds stone fruit flavors of peach and apricot, it also adds weight, texture, and body to the wine. Next, the Marsanne adds lively acidity, a hint of minerality, and citrus fruit flavors. Finally, the Viognier adds tropical fruit flavors to the wine, as well as beautiful, floral aromatics. This is a beautifully balanced wine, ideal for just about any type of shellfish, especially seared scallops, or simply on its own as an aperitif.

In the heart of the Languedoc, bordering the Thau Basin and the Mediterranean Sea, Les Caves Richemer started in 1937.  Mediterranean Chardonnays receive a lot of sun exposure allow them to fully ripen and express roundness making for a smooth texture. Very fruity on the nose, this is an easy every occasion wine that is bottled early in the year to preserve its freshness.  This wine’s flavors of pear and stone fruit pair well with chicken with olives, Bayonne ham and pâtés as well as with mild, creamy cheeses like Brie.
Early morning picking and cold temperature fermentation to preserve freshness. The lees are stirred post-fermentation to add volume to the wine and balance the fruit.

The whiskey aging process is influenced by time & place. Aren’t we lucky. These barrels have all been influenced by the greatly varying temperatures & humidity levels of their original source and their time in our rick house in Red Hook, Brooklyn. The different rick house positions combined with climate variations have led to subtle deviations in flavor, all coming together in a hyper small batches, little more than a handful of barrels at a time.

Aged for a minimum of thirteen years, non-chill filtered & proofed with our own limestone mineral water from the Legendary Rosendale Mines of NY, Lucky Thirteen is always a way to share good fortune.
