New Belgium Oakspire - 4 Roses Edition

New 4 Roses Edition!!!

New Belgium Oakspire - 4 Roses Edition...$11.99 / 6pk

Bourbon Barrel Ale

We first began brewing Oakspire in 2018 as a special release around the Holidays and it has since become a fan favorite. In 2021, we're thrilled to partner with Four Roses Distillery, known for their smooth, fruit forward and slightly spicy bourbons. Oakspire features a custom-built, proprietary infusion method to pull the flavors from the bourbon-steeped charred oak and marries it with a malty-sweet, deep amber ale.

2019 Goose Island Original Bourbon County Brand Stout...$11.99 / pint
This year’s Bourbon County Stout, aged in a mix of Heaven Hill, Buffalo Trace, and Wild Turkey barrels, yields a rich, complex mouthfeel. Flavors of cocoa, fudge, vanilla, caramel, almond, plus leather and tobacco, permeate this beer and deepen with each sip. We’ve bottled Bourbon County Stout for 15 years and this year’s vintage is one that you will want to hold on to for years to come.

2019 Bourbon County Café de Olla Stout...$20.99

Created in partnership with our next door neighbors, Intelligentsia Coffee, Café de Olla is inspired by the traditional Mexican beverage of the same name. We added coffee beans and cold brew coffee to Original Bourbon County Stout and then enhanced this beer further through additions of cassia bark, orange peel, and panela sugar. The resulting beer is layered in complexity. Coffee and orange permeate the nose and are followed by notes of cinnamon, chocolate, and a pleasant sweetness.

Small high quality wine importer --
UNITED ESTATES WINE IMPORTS Ltd.

UNITED ESTATES WINE IMPORTS Ltd. is a company dedicated to importing handcrafted, high-quality wines, from artisan estates in France. Before starting their business, the husband and wife team of Patrick and Connie Allen spent many years living in France and New York. During that time they worked for many major players in the wine business including Becky Wasserman, Neal Rosenthal, William Deutsch, and Michael Skurnik.
After crafting a business plan over many long walks through Central Park they “took the plunge” and in the spring of 2002 moved to France. Their goal was to establish an importing company dedicated to promoting French country wines from villages far off the beaten track.
In France they researched and tasted wines from hundreds of wineries, ultimately creating a unique portfolio of exceptional, handcrafted, artisan wines. Upon return to their home state of Ohio, they took the steps necessary to create the independent importing company that they had dreamed of during their walks in the park. In January of 2004, the first wines imported by United Estates landed in New York.

Alberta Premium Cask Strength named “World Whisky of the Year” by Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible 2021

TORONTO, September 16, 2020 – Alberta Premium Cask Strength has been named “World Whisky of the Year” by Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible 2021. Made and distilled in Calgary, Alberta, the spirit boasts 100% prairie rye mash bills and Rocky Mountain water, resulting in a liquid that is a true reflection of Canadian pride and craftsmanship. This distinction is the third to be received by Beam Suntory in the past seven years, with Booker’s® Rye Whiskey (awarded in 2017) and Yamazaki® Single Malt Sherry Cask (awarded in 2015) also attaining this best-in-class ranking.

“It is such an honor to be named World Whisky of the Year by Jim Murray and we are thrilled for our Alberta Distillers team,” said Albert Baladi, President & CEO, Beam Suntory. “To receive this prestigious honor is a testament to the team’s dedication and passion for crafting a premium spirit of the highest quality, and comes as at a time of Canadian whisky resurgence around the world.”

After being tasted alongside more than 1,252 whiskies in this year’s judging, Alberta Premium Cask Strength was noted by Jim Murray as “a succulence to the oils, balanced perfectly by ulmo and manuka honeys ensure for the most chewable Canadian mouthful possibly ever….and yet this is constantly salivating, from the very first nanosecond …Truly world-class whisky from possibly the world’s most underrated distillery. How can something be so immense yet equally delicate? For any whisky lover on the planet looking for huge but nearly perfectly balanced experience, then here you go. And with rye at its most rampantly beautiful, this is something to truly worship.”

Alberta Premium was named "Canadian Whisky of the Year" in Jim Murray's 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 Whisky Bibles. This year, Alberta Premium Cask Strength received Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

At Forsyth and online now

Top 20 Whiskies of 2020 from The Whisky Advocate
#3 • Benriach The Smoky Twelve

Benriach The Smoky Twelve Single Malt Scotch 12 year Old...$59.99
Benriach is a sleeper of a single malt, but that’s about to change. Part of a 2020 relaunch of its core line, this grabbed our attention with its sophistication, breadth of flavors, and lovely refinement. Much of the credit surely goes to master blender Rachel Barrie for creating a smoky whisky that both peat lovers and the peat-wary can enjoy. Rather than medicinal intensity, the peat is redolent of gentle, sweetly smoky fruits that integrate seamlessly with notes of vanilla, toasted almond, chocolate, blueberry, and bacon. It beckons like the wafting smoke of a warming autumn bonfire, then welcomes with its lush and velvety embrace. —Jeffery Lindenmuth

New Smoky Ten!

Benriach The Smoky Ten Single Malt Scotch 10 year Old...$54.99
Compare to $58.99 at Total Wine and More
Three Cask Matured
In the early 1970s, Benriach broke convention in Speyside by returning to distilling batches of whisky in the old, 19th century style, using malted barley smoked with Highland peat. This wood rich Highland peat imparts distinctly sweet and smoky notes into Benriach peated whiskies. Benriach The Smoky Ten has been crafted from a combination of unpeated and peated spirit and three cask matured for at least ten years in a combination of bourbon barrels, Jamaican rum casks and toasted virgin oak. The whisky is then expertly married together to create sublimely smooth layers of sunripe fruit, aromatic smoke and toasted oak spice, lingering into the perfectly balanced sweet and smoky finish.

Bruichladdich Black Art Edition 09.1 Single Malt Scotch

Bruichladdich Black Art Edition 09.1 Single Malt Scotch...$449.99
Aged 29 years
44.1% ABV
12,000 bottles made
In an era when efficiency was promoted over quality, our distillery was considered irredeemably old-fashioned. The single malt produced before our closure in 1994 now equates to less than 1% of all the ‘pre-renaissance’ whisky still maturing in our warehouses. Our oldest spirits have become some of our rarest and most treasured. Ensuring the eloquent work of our predecessors is given the closest attention, this finite 1992 vintage has been nurtured on its 29-year journey from cask to cask by our head distiller, Adam Hannett. Matured in unrivalled quality oak, this unpeated spirit’s recipe is held in absolute secret – as is customary with every Black Art edition before it. What we do know about our 9th edition is that our most alchemic single malt is the oldest ever. This is the quintessential Black Art: Edition 09.1.

St. Feuillien Grand Cru Belgian Ale...$18.99 / 750ml

Very pale in color, brilliantly bright and appetizingly pale golden, Grand Cru has a delicate nose full of subtle hops and fruit with a backdrop of malt and honey. St. Feuillien Cuvee de Noel...$35.99 / 1.5 liter bottle (magnum)
St. Feuillien was a 7 th -century monk, an Irishman slain in the wilds of what is now Wallonian Belgium. In 1873 the Friart family, in conjunction with a foundation dedicated to the memory and good works of St. Feuillien, began producing fine Authentic Abbey Ales. Five generations later, the Friart family is still in charge of the brewery and proceeds from each sale go to the Foundation formed in St. Feuillien’s name.
St. Feuillien Cuvée de Noël is a fine top fermented Abbey Ale. Its slightly brown color is the result of the roasted barley. This beer has a smoothness that is the result of the synergy of caramelized malts, carefully controlled fermentation and long cold storage. St-Feuillien Cuvée de Noël is a harmonious ale that strikes a perfect balance between all of the different ingredients. Dark ruby brown color, St. Feuillien Cuvée de Noël boasts: • Aromatic herbs and spices, • Full-bodied, • Subtle bitterness and • A generous head – compact and firm.
