Pena do Lobo

2017 D. Ventura Pena do Lobo Ribeira Sacra...$15.99
Grapes: Mencía
Vine age: Over 80 years
Soil: Granite Farming: Practicing Organic Vinification: Fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel and aged on the lees for 6 months.
Deep, lush fruit aromas combine with hints of black licorice. The palate is plush with more mineral overtones framed by dense stony fruits.

"Mencía (“Men-thee-ah”) is a medium-bodied red wine grape that produces high quality wines with floral and red fruit flavors. If you’ve never heard of it, it’s not surprising, Mencía only grows in Spain and Portugal on the Iberian peninsula. What makes Mencía special is it has shown the ability to age like other fine wines and it offers rich aromas in the glass. If you love Pinot Noir and other aromatic reds (like Gamay or Schiava), then Mencía is something worth investigating." - Wine Folly

Perennial Artisan Ales House Clouds IPA

Perennial Artisan Ales House Clouds IPA...$10.99 / 4pk 16oz cans
We took our base IPA and stuffed in a trifecta of dank cryo-processed hops. The result is a stiff can of pineapple juice with a pillowy-soft finish that will leave you asking for more. Take a cold-weather hike and lay down on a bed of pine boughs. Blanket yourself in candied apricots, mandarin zest, and tuck in under a monster pile of leaves. Reminds us of building blanket forts so big you can get lost inside them.

Monsanto Chianti Classico Riserva - 96 points!

2015 Monsanto Chianti Classico Riserva...$23.99
Aromas of plums, cherries and hints of green olives. White truffles and deep earth, too. Full-bodied, so layered and beautiful with a fabulous texture and ripe tannins. It is so pure and minimalist in the end, showing the effect of traditional, hands-off winemaking. Don’t miss this. Decant before serving. One for the cellar. Drink or hold.

100 Point Cab!

2014 Heitz Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Martha's Vineyard....$269.99
From the famous Oakville site, this aged wine spends three years in 100% new French oak, one in neutral oak and an additional year in bottle. Though it has had time to evolve, it has years to go to unfurl its core of eucalyptus, mint and cedar. It shows an unmistakable crispness of red fruit, orange peel and stone, all honed by a grippy, generous palate. Enjoy 2024–2034
Rated 100/100 The Wine Enthusiast
Intense for the piercing beam of raspberry and red currant coulis flavors, this is distinctive, offering racy star anise, sassafras, mint and rooibos tea accents. Very focused through the finish. Drink now through 2040. 2,617 cases made.

Cliff Lede does it again with the brilliant 2017 Poetry

Cliff Lede does it again with the brilliant 2017 Poetry
2017 Cliff Lede Poetry Stag's Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon....$266.99*
*6 Pack case pricing available
The flagship is the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Poetry, which is based on 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc, 4% Petit Verdot, and the balance Merlot. Straight-up awesome notes of black raspberries, blueberries, smoked tobacco, violets, spice box, and gravelly earth as well as a bloody, meaty character all emerge from this magical wine. With full-bodied richness, ultra-fine tannins, flawless balance, and a great, great finish, it doesn't have the sheer opulence of the 2016 or 2015 yet shows a more classical, elegant, style that still packs ample richness and depth. It needs 4-5 years of bottle age and will keep for 20 years or more. It's a candidate for the wine of the vintage and is an incredible achievement for this team. Bravo.

Whistlepig Boss Hog VII Magellan's Atlantic...$459.99
Single Barrel, Bottled at Proof, Powerfully Complex, Distinctly Unique From Anything We’ve Done Before. Stupendous.
The Boss Hog embodies our enduring quest to create the finest and most interesting Rye Whiskey – a pursuit that carries us to the very edges of the earth.
Inspired by the first recorded circumnavigation of the globe, The Boss Hog VII: Magellan’s Atlantic is a Straight Rye Whiskey with an uncharted cask journey that stretches across continents. After seventeen years of slumber in American Oak, it first encounters new Spanish staves from the mountainous forests of northern Spain; a cask nearly impossible to tame yet well worth the effort. Crossing the Atlantic the whiskey finds its finish in fragrant South American teakwood.
This rare and outstandingly complex whiskey is barrel strength, bottled between 105.1 and 107.8 proof.

Founders KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge....$19.99 / 4pk
Imperial stout with Mackinac Fudge Coffee, Maple Syrup and Chocolate aged in Bourbon Barrels
ABV:  11%
Michigan didn’t invent old-fashioned fudge, but it was perfected here. We pay tribute to this time-honored tradition with KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge. By amplifying the rich chocolate notes of KBS using Mackinac Fudge coffee, then adding maple syrup and aging it in oak bourbon barrels, we’ve created a bold new take on our barrel-aged classic – one that could only have originated in Michigan.

Highland Park Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch

Release No.1
Highland Park Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch...$79.99
ABV : 63.3%
Casks have a huge influence on our whisky. As our fresh new make spirit slowly matures inside them, the casks use these long years to impart their vast array of robust flavours.

It only follows then, that when you bottle straight from the cask, without adding water to reduce alcohol content, you are going to taste our whisky - and the cask’s influence - in its purest form.

Cask Strength Release No. 1 is matured predominantly in sherry seasoned American oak casks of different ages, hand-selected by Gordon Motion, our Master Whisky Maker. It is then directly bottled - not chill-filtered - to ensure the essential DNA and natural colour of our whisky stays intact. There is nothing in this whisky other than the whisky itself. Nothing but the intensely balanced, award-winning spirit of Highland Park.

It is at once sweet and smoky on the nose, with aromas of violets and ripe vanilla pods amidst waves of aromatic peat smoke. On the palate, it is rich and full-bodied, with soft toffee, heather honey, freshly grated nutmeg, and sun-ripened citrus fruits that give way to an exotically spiced crème brûlée finish.
