The high ratio of first-fill sherry seasoned European and American oak casks selected to create our 18 Year Old give it a unique flavour profile of bursting overripe cherries, bitter dark chocolate, sweet marzipan, floral heather honey, and aromatic peat smoke.

A true collaboration, the partner brewery uses casks from Virginia Distillery Company to age the beer in, and the distillery takes the casks back for use in finishing VHW Brewers Batch Whisky for an additional 8 to 16 months.
The late Dr. George G. Moore had a great passion for single malt whisky and his adopted home in Virginia. A native Irishman, George came to the U.S. in the 1970’s to seek new opportunities. In 2011, after many years of building successful businesses in both the U.S. and Ireland, George finally had the chance to combine his two passions when he started Virginia Distillery Company. Today, George’s wife, Angela Moore and their son, Gareth Moore, along with his wife, Maggie Moore, have taken the helm to continue building George’s dream. “Have the courage of your convictions,” was a saying George often repeated to friends and family. His credo became our core principle and the name of our newest American Single Malt whisky line, Courage & Conviction
WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL
• Made with 100% malted barley. • Aged for a minimum of 3.5 to 4 years in Bourbon, Sherry, and Cuvée casks. • We are one of only a handful of distilleries in the world to use these unique Cuvée casks, a profile developed by the late Dr. Jim Swan. • The hot summers and cool winters of Virginia make this American Single Malt incredibly distinct. • The wildly varied climate allows our whisky to age at a faster rate than our counterparts in Scotland.
TASTING NOTES • With notes of caramel and butterscotch, our flagship American Single Malt evolves on the palate with hints of dark dried fruit, raspberry, cocoa, barrel spice and vanilla. • Its finish is creamy and exceptionally smooth.

Stone Brewing Liquid Poem Double IPA...$16.99 / 6pk
Hops, used artfully, can be a lyrical journey for the palate. What you have here is the liquid equivalent of some old school classic punk rock poetry. We took the path less traveled 25 years ago, and it could be accurately argued we were a bit noisy in our adventures co-pioneering the West Coast style IPA. People heard that noise and joined us in the hoppy mosh pit, and the path has gotten even more lively since then. We based this recipe on the classics, with citrusy-piney Centennial, Chinook and Columbus hops, plus a dash of ‘new classic’ Citra for good measure. Big yet refreshing, bold yet nuanced. Undeniably LOUD. Just as we like it.

Oak & Eden Bourbon & Brew...$44.99
Bourbon & Brew begins with Oak & Eden’s award-winning Bourbon whiskey. Once distilled, we age our Bourbon for two years in new barrels made of American oak producing a rich, deep yet sweet spirit. We bottle this Bourbon at 90 proof.
WOOD: FRENCH OAK
Now that our masterpiece is bottled, the work of finishing begins. Unlike traditional finished whiskey, we do not rest our whiskey in a secondary cask, but finish our whiskey in-bottle. We do this by placing a 5” long spiral-cut piece of wood, cut from the same species of wood as the finishing barrel into our bottle. In Bourbon & Brew, we cut a Spire from French Oak, porous and rich, containing nearly twice the amount of natural botanicals as American Oak, creating a rich, deep, silky finish.
FIRE: MEDIUM+ TOAST
Before we infuse the Spire of wood into West Oak Cold Brew Coffee, we expose it to fire, toasting the wood to a perfect degree that will produce a finish that is deep and rich with subtle notes of fruit and vanilla.
INFUSION: WEST OAK COLD BREW COFFEE
West Oak Coffee, based in Denton, TX, has made a name for itself in the craft coffee world, roasting some of the finest coffees found in America. We partnered with West Oak to create Bourbon & Brew, using Delagua Coffee from Colombia. Before bottling, we infuse the Spires into this rich, savory cold brew, giving a sweet, delicate dark chocolate & coffee finish, unlike anything else.
