2018 Tiberio Pecorino Colline Pescaresi...$23.99
Luminous yellow, with just a hint of a pale green tinge. The lively nose offers aromas of lemon, lime and minerals, nicely lifted by lemon verbena and jasmine notes. Then steely and boasting noteworthy clarity and cut to the fresh lime, guava and green apple flavors. Closes juicy and with a laser-like acidity extending a hint of wild fennel on the long back end. Easily the best Pecorino wine Tiberio has made in the last few years.

'13 Massolino Barolo Vigna Rionda Riserva

2013 Massolino Barolo Vigna Rionda Riserva...$139.99*
The Vigna Rionda in Serralunga d'Alba is measured at about ten hectares, and eight single-vineyard wines claim this provenance. Massolino counts a quarter of that total, making this estate the biggest landowner in Vigna Rionda. First produced in 1982, this is the ace in Massolino's rotation, and the 2013 Barolo Riserva Vigna Rionda is a true standout in the appellation. It is finer, more elegant and more compact than its peers, bringing a spicy personality that belies a profound and deep nature. It's still tense, a little nervous and has some cellar time ahead of it, but this is a beautifully precise wine. This cru site is composed of sedimentary layers of sandy, yellow and ferrous marlstone that absorbs the moisture well. The soils are poor in organic substances, and therefore, the vigor of the plants is naturally reduced, as are yields, resulting in extra concentration and richness. Vigna Rionda also reaches phenolic maturity earlier than other sites, but that does not necessarily mean that it is the first of the vineyards to be harvested. The wine is aged in very mild oak in order to maintain the purity of the fruit and the robust tannins that come naturally to it. This is a real treasure for your cellar.

Bourbon Barrel Aged Wines!

2017 1000 Stories Bourbon Barrel Aged Cabernet Sauvignon...$17.99
In the second half of the 19th Century, explorers flocked to the American West in search of freedom and fortune. Crafted with their stories in mind, Prospectors’ Proof Cabernet Sauvignon celebrates the qualities of adventure and optimism. This rich, full-flavored Cabernet Sauvignon expresses a pioneering spirit along with signature bourbon barrel notes of charred vanilla and dried herbs.

The Prospectors’ Proof Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were carefully selected primarily from Mendocino County and San Luis Obispo County. This rich and bold wine has flavors of cherries and currant,  underscored by a nuanced thread of graphite.

Each lot began its journey in traditional French and American oak wine barrels. Then, in true 1.000 Stories fashion, winemaker Bob Blue finished a small portion of the wine in new bourbon barrels, with the balance aged in neutral bourbon barrels. This unique barrel aging process gave to this wine its hints of burnt sugar, vanilla, dried herbs, and even a touch of smokiness.

2015 1000 Stories Half Batch Bourbon Barrel Aged Petite Sirah...$13.99
...complex wine with a striking balance of succulent fruit, savory notes and hints

of grilled herb...with that subtle hint of liquid smoke that only a bourbon barrel can deliver.

High West Distillery Vodka!

High West 7000' Oat Flavored Vodka...$26.99
The heart of High West 7000' comes from our favorite grain - oats.

Best enjoyed where vodka is the primary ingredient, like neat, or on the rocks, or in a dry martini. That way you'll actually be able to taste the richness we distilled into High West 7000'.

7000' is the exact elevation of High West Distillery's bar. High West 7000' pays tribute to our high-altitude locale and its unique attributes, which lead to a great tasting vodka. Here in our mountains, pure snowmelt is naturally filtered in deep rock aquifers to produce great-tasting water with a well-balanced mineral content. We combine this superb water with carefully distilled oats to give High West 7000' its silky-smooth taste and rich mouthfeel.

High West 7000’ originates high in our mountains as free-range snowmelt, naturally filtered in deep rock aquifers. This produces great tasting water with a well-balanced mineral content. The heart of High West 7000’ comes from our favorite grain, oats. According to old manuals, distillers from the 1800’s considered oats to make a superior tasting libation. Oats aren’t used today because of their high cost and difficulty to distill – we think their subtle nutty and vanilla flavor is worth the extra effort. Our manually operated Copper Post Still gives us more deliberate control in selecting the most flavorful “heart” of the delicate oaten flavor. The combination of our carefully distilled oat spirit and special water creates a silky smooth tasting vodka with a rich mouth feel. High West Distillery & Saloon is Utah’s first legal distillery since 1870 and the World’s only Ski-in Gastro-Distillery located at exactly 7000’ at the base of the Town Lift in the heart of Old Town Park City, Utah. High West makes spirits for people who want great taste and appreciate quality ingredients, small batches and the owner’s personal touch. Our saloon is a quaint, family friendly, full-service restaurant and bar where visitors can refuel and refresh in our renovated 100-year-old livery stable and Victorian mining era home, both listed on the National Register of Historic Places. If you like great spirits, contemporary Western comfort food and American roots music, you ought to come and visit us when you are in Park City.

Oat Spirit: 85% oat, 15% barley malt; Base Vodka: A blend of Corn and Wheat

Sensory Notes
Nose: Soft with subtle vanilla, sweet grain and faint lemon rind
Taste: Lightly sweet with viscous qualities and a subtle vanilla finish
Finish: Very subtle lemon oils and soft grain

From North Shore Distillery!

In stock now at Forsyth!

North Shore Scofflaw Gin...$32.99

Historically important, incredibly delicious and versatile, with fruity and floral notes with classic Old Tom Gin style.

Tasting Notes:
Classic notes of juniper, orange peel and coriander, with a floral, fruity finish
Layered and smooth, with integrated, balanced flavors
Rich, round texture in the classic Old Tom style, extremely sippable and mixable

Production Notes:
We use a base spirit made from Midwestern grain.
We hand prepare a range of organic and wild-harvested botanicals for this gin, including juniper berries, cardamom, coriander, cinnamon, anise seed, fresh orange and lemon peels, and osmanthus blossoms, which impart an intriguing, delicate floral and fruit note to the spirit.
We infuse the botanicals into our base spirit for varying lengths of time depending on their particular characteristics, and then distill them through Ethel the Still using a slow, meticulous process that enables us to create fresh, bright flavors.
After distillation, we add water and a touch of sugar to achieve 90 proof (45% abv), an ideal proof for cocktails.

North Shore Bourbon Cask Rum...$36.99
Our Bourbon Cask Rum has a smooth, fruity and dry flavor profile, with tropical fruit and spice notes. Because we’ve added no sugar, it sips a bit like a whiskey, and is great on its own or over ice. It also makes amazing cocktails, and unlike many aged rums, it does not make the cocktail overly sweet.

Tasting Notes:
Tropical and bright flavors in a rich spirit that sips like a whiskey
Layered and smooth, well-integrated, with hints of smoke and spice
Crisp, round finish with rich fruit notes – both sippable and mixable

Production Notes:
Made from sugar-rich molasses, with a long fermentation to promote the development of fruity esters
Distilled by the amazing Still Ethel, our custom pot still, then aged in full-size used bourbon casks for 4 to 6 years
When we blend the casks together, we add water as needed to adjust our proof, but we add absolutely nothing else – no sugar, no caramel or other colorings, and no flavorings of any kind – it’s just pure naked rum

Drink Ideas:
Our Bourbon Cask Rum is great for sipping, and adds intriguing complexity to classic whiskey drinks like the Old Fashioned and the Manhattan. We also have a few favorite recipes in our cocktail database.

North Shore Bourbon Cask Rum is 40% alcohol by volume (80 proof)

North Shore Doublewood Rum...$36.99
Our Doublewood Rum is like no other rum out there. As a robust, rich rum – tropical fruit notes from our Bourbon Cask Rum are are further complemented by bold spice, delicate fruit and creamy vanilla flavors from its unique aging process.
