Clear Creek Douglas Fir Brandy

Clear Creek Douglas Fir Brandy...$44.99 / 375ml
Inspired by the obscure Alsatian spirit Eau de Vie de Bourgeons de Sapin made from pine buds, our Douglas Fir Brandy is truly a tree in a bottle. It took ten years of experimentation to successfully capture the true essence of Oregon’s state tree.
This brandy, also known as eau de vie is made from bright green springtime Douglas fir buds, hand picked, and immediately infused in our clear very delicate and aromatic brandy. This maceration is then re-distilled and re-infused with fresh new buds, giving the spirit its vibrant green hue from the Douglas fir’s natural chlorophyll. No artificial color has been added.

“Spiced and pure with juniper, forest floor, fresh wood, Christmas tree and sweet vanilla; long and quite amazing.” Anthony Dias Blue, Patterson’s Tasting Panel, 2007

“…the resulting eau de vie is a penetrating blast of forest aroma. On the palate it has the herbal, stomach settling effect of an Italian digestif.” Eric Asimov, The New York Times, August 15, 2007

2018 Tissot Patchwork Chardonnay Jura

 Certified Organic and Biodynamic

2018 Benedicte & Stephane Tissot Patchwork Chardonnay Jura....$37.99
"The Chardonnay grape has a long history in the Jura region. It came to the Jura from Burgundy and is the most important varietal in the area, counting for 45% of the vineyards. Its success is explained by its adaptability to the harsh winters and the limestone clay soils which give the wines freshness and minerality.

Stéphane Tissot’s Patchwork Chardonnay is a blend of different vineyards, all over 25 years of age, a blend to take in both the clay and limestone terroirs that Stéphane’s Chardonnay vineyards occupy. The vineyards of the domaine are all farmed with organic and biodynamic practices, grapes are hand harvested, only indigenous yeast is used for the fermentations, no fining and only a small amount of sulfite is added to the wine before bottling.

This bottling is a perfect way to get familiar with the expression Chardonnay develops on the Jurassic terroir: a blend of beautiful, fresh fruit and smoky minerality. This is his entry level cuvée; it delivers a lot of quality and invites to try his single vineyard bottlings later on." - Gayot

Troon Vineyard Piquette Methode Ancestrale

Certified Biodynamic
Vegan Friendly
Natural Wine

Troon Vineyard Piquette Methode Ancestrale...$22.99

The first question we get about this wine is always, “what is piquette?” It is many things, but basically it is frugal farmer fizz, a type of natural wine that has been made for hundreds, if not thousands of years. Those frugal farmers wasted nothing and used the juice and skins left after pressing the wines they would sell to make wine for themselves and their workers. Today we have recaptured that spirit, which fits in so well with our biodynamic style of agriculture. After pressing our estate white and rosé wines, there is still substantial juice left in skins as we press very gently. To that we add a touch of water, then let it macerate overnight in the press. The next day, we press that juice into a stainless steel tank, where begins a native yeast fermentation. Just before that fermentation is complete, we quickly bottle the new wine under crown caps to finish fermentation in the bottle. The resulting sparkling wine is a delight. Fresh and fizzy with bright fruit flavors. Piquette may have bubbles like Champagne, but our Piquette! is more about picnics and summer sipping - or better yet, gulping!

Greek Orange Wine - Glinavos Paleokerisio Semi Sparkling Orange Wine

Greek Orange Wine

Glinavos Paleokerisio Semi Sparkling Orange Wine...$18.99 / 500ml
Innovative and at the same time a traditional wine with a characteristic orange colour

A unique in its kind orange, semi-sparkling and semi-dry wine, which impresses with its distinctive and totally traditional vinification. It is produced from the indigenous white wine grape variety Debina with the addition of a small percentage of the red variety Vlahiko.

It is a special type of wine, which revives the well-known traditional semi-sparkling wine of Ioannina, produced in the past by the locals. The little natural carbonate reveals the richness of flavours and aromas with a sweetness that blends in with all the other elements.

Colour: Characteristic orange colour which resembles that of honey, tea or a cognac colour.
Nose: Intense and highly complex aromatic composition with characteristic aromas of apple, butter, and sweet spices like cinnamon and cloves.
Mouth: Rich, refreshing and well - balanced with main aromas of apple, butter flavour with a mild oxidation, as well as aromas of cinnamon and a hint of vanilla. Aftertaste reminiscent of sweet cherry and refreshing bubbles that highlight the complexity of aromas in every sip.

Las Jaras Wines

2020 Las Jaras Old Vinde Rose...$26.99
Gary Venturi Vineyard: 83% old vine, dry farmed, organic: carignan, zinfandel and petite sirah
Hillside Vineyards: 15% old vine, dry farmed, certified organic: zinfandel
Ricetti Vineyards Carignan: 2% old vine, dry farmed, certified organic: carignan
Yes, this is a pink party wine—but it’s a classy pink party wine. This is a rosé you want to bring home to meet your parents. It deserves to be drunk alongside imported tinned fish, salted butter, and impeccably made, artisanal baguettes. If this rosé could talk, it would have a lilting French accent and quote Godard. Our approach to rosé is to think less about the varietal makeup and more about the style and vibe it conveys. So even though our cépage has changed—past vintages have been 100% carignan or only 35% zinfandel, whereas this vintage is 69% zinfandel—the wine is still an evolution of its signature style. Our goal is a wine that is both fruity and savory, and every year we nudge the wine into the direction it needs to go in a quest for balance, deliciousness and refreshment. On the nose, the 2020 Rosé is all about big red fruit and hibiscus. On the palate, it is packed with acid and minerality, with a bone-dry finish. It is also texturally interesting, as a result of destemming the zinfandel and pressing immediately.

The Carignan for this wine was whole cluster pressed as soon as the fruit was received at the winery. This method of juice extraction gives us a savory and mineral laden wine with a fine texture. The Zinfandel was destemmed as soon as it got to the winery, after which, we added it to the press with its stems. This allowed us to get great red fruit character and avoid extracting too much bitterness. We added 10ppm sulfur and after 24 hours of settling the wines we racked for native primary fermentation. Once these lots had fermented to dryness, we combined them into one tank for storage on their lees until bottling at cool temperatures to discourage malo-lactic fermentation, but it went through anyway. Close to the bottling date we added a small amount of sulfur and filtered the wine.

2019 Las Jaras Glou Glou Red Wine...$23.99
54% Zinfandel, 37% Carignan, 5% Petite Sirah, 3% Pinot Noir, 1% Cabernet Sauvignon
This vintage can make your homebound meal sing. Glou Glou is the kind of light red that tastes like sparkles and bright, summer fruit. It has enough acid to stand up to your favorite pasta and tomato sauce, with intense berry notes that can perfectly complement a smoky, tangy BLT. Serve slightly chilled—this is the most refreshing red wine ever, and the perfect antidote to long evenings at home. Most of the grapes underwent carbonic maceration, the classic fermentation method of the Beaujolais, which means that fermentation happened inside of berries themselves, causing them to explode in happy, boozy ecstasy. That’s how you’ll feel when you drink this wine—it dances in your mouth. It is great, you will love it.

To make this wine we assembled 29 small lots that had been vinified separately using various fermentation techniques to make a layered cohesive blend. Most of the lots were fermented with carbonic maceration, a gentle process that helps to keep early-harvest wines from becoming too tannic. After 5-9 days, depending on the lot, we pressed the juice off its skins where they fermented natively in tank. Then, to keep the wine bright and fresh, half of the lots were aged in barrels and half were aged in stainless steel tank. This wine received no additions except for a small amount of sulfur and it was filtered prior to bottling. We do not degas our wines, so it may have a bit of spritz, especially when young.

Dr. Brule "Sweet Berry Wine" -
See what Dr. Brule says about his wine

2018 Las Jaras Sweet Berry Wine...$29.99
54% Carignan | 28% Zinfandel | 12% Charbono | 3% Cabernet Sauvignon | 3% Valdiguie Old Vines | Mendocino County
We are so excited to share the 2018 Sweet Berry Wine with you! This was a long, cool vintage, which resulted in a nuanced, refined wine that will age wonderfully. It’s perfect for long, autumn evenings with friends—grab a warm blanket, start a fire, and watch as the flames illuminate the beautiful, deep ruby wine inside your glass. As the days grow shorter and colder, you’ll find even more occasions to pop open a bottle: holiday dinners, après-ski at the lodge, New Years Eve. This wine is loaded with spice and bright, berry fruit, making it wonderfully versatile with food. We hope it’s a wine you’ll keep coming back to for years to come – for your health!

The grapes for this blend are grown on old vines and sourced from vineyards in Mendocino and Sonoma Counties. Most of the Carignan, Zinfandel and Charbono grapes come from Gary Venturi’s vineyard in Calpella, where they are dry farmed using sustainable farming techniques and grown in Yokayo sandy loam soils. Nine percent of the Carignan comes from the organic Riccetti vineyard in Redwood Valley. We also source some fruit from Green Valley in Solano County: Valdiguie from Quail Run vineyard and a bit of Carignan from Parenti Vineyard, both organically grown. The Cabernet grapes are sustainably farmed on Sonoma Mountain at Berger’s Oak Shade Ranch in Goulding on volcanic gravelly loam soils.

Whiskey Liqueur
A original blend of straight rye and bourbon whiskeys with Righteous Seven liqueur

GIBOR™ (‘ghee-bore’) is a new brand of whiskey liqueur being introduced by Righteous Road Craft Spirits.
It is our first product launch with whiskey and we have spent considerable time getting to the right combination of rye and bourbon blended together with our award winning Righteous Seven liqueur.

There are very few whiskey liqueurs on the market and hardly any that we know of that are a combination of rye and bourbon blended with a fruit liqueur, up at 80 proof.  The rye we used on this first batch is a high rye at 95% with 5% malted barley, aged at 4.25 years. The bourbon is 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley, aged at 3.5 years. Our Righteous Seven® liqueur is made from wheat, barley, grapes, pomegranates, figs, olives, and dates.

Once blended and rested, this whiskey liqueur brings a taste profile that combines notes of spice and caramel together with the forest fruits and chocolate tones of Righteous Seven, all in one satisfying and smooth pour.

GIBOR is best experienced neat or on the rocks. Enjoy as well with your favorite cigar.

A ‘Gibor’ is the Hebrew word for a ‘strong and mighty one.’ A Gibor shows fortitude and courage to maintain moral virtue when challenge and adversity knock at the door. We hope you enjoy it and that your ride is a righteous on

Pont Neuf Wines

We cannot be more excited to introduce Pont Neuf to St. Louis and Missouri!

These wines are very small production, very high quality and we are one of the very few places you will find them outside of the winery!!

Pont Neuf Wines: The Exception that Proves the Rule
Over the 20+ years I have been buying and selling wine, one, almost universal, truth I have found is that the great wines don’t find you, you have to go seek them out. Well, recently I ran into the exception to prove that rule, Pont Neuf Wines. A few months ago I received a phone call asking if we would be interested in tasting some wines from Pont Neuf Winery, not wanting to be rude I told the gentleman that while I was not tasting (global pandemic and all) but if he would like to drop off bottles we would be happy to try them. After the first sip of the Point Royal Chardonnay, I was sold, hands down the most intriguing bottle and drove back to the shop to grab a bottle of La Source Pinot to try as well, the Pinot was just as impressive. Needless to say we are thrilled to introduce Pont Neuf Wines to St Louis.

Pont Neuf Wines, the brain child of Doug and Mary Danielak, is an effort to translate the bold flavors of California with the transparency and technique of Burgundy, allowing the character of terroir to take the lead in the finished wine. Doug and Mary spent their formative wine years in Burgundy, While studying in France, Douglas worked his first harvest at Chateau de Chambolle-Musigny with his friend and classmate Frederic Mugnier as well as studying and making life-long friends with the sons and daughters of many prized Domaines of the Cote d'Or. While Mary worked with French wine exporter Rebecca Wasserman, the opportunity to combine her love of food & wine, language and photography was the chance of a lifetime. Meeting and working with both French and American wine producers proved to be key in what lay ahead for her career. Today Doug and Mary are making some of the most compelling Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Sonoma’s Russian River Valley.

Now the amazing wines!  Our most exciting find of the year!

2017 Pont Neuf Russian River Pinot Noir La Vouge...$54.99
Only 70  cases produced
Premier Cru Quality
2017 Pont Neuf La Vouge Pinot Noir Russian River is made with traditional Burgundian techniques using French oak from a mix of cooperages, including François Frères. The wine remains in oak barrels almost 1 year, and is usually bottled just before the next vintage. The La Vouge is comprised of Dijon Clone 115, which according to UC Davis derives many of its unique characteristics from specific sites and soils. Goldridge soils produced complex combinations of vivid fruit and forest floor in our 2017 La Vouge. The 2017 vintage for Russian River Pinot was of excellent quality due to favorable conditions at bloom and an even, warm summer. The resulting wines are bold and assertive, complex and delicious.
Winemaker: Douglas Danielak
Appellation: Russian River. Atop Stoetz Ridge, far western Sonoma County, the ridge divides Russian River from Sonoma Coast.
Clonal Materal: Vosne-Romanee
Winemaking: Traditional Burgundian Élevage, 100% French Oak, barrel fermented, un-fined and unfiltered

2017 Pont Neuf Russian River Pinot Noir La Source...$74.99
Only 70  cases produced
Grand Cru Quality
Luxurious and powerful, La Source has impressive weight, texture and presence in the glass. The wine is un-fined and unfiltered, using natural ferments. The clonal material is from Vosne-Romanée. 100% French Oak from the Tronçais Forest was employed, air-dried 4 years, for the ultimate in balance and finesse. The La Source was bottled after 14 months in barrel. Grown on a rolling ridge dividing Russian River and the Sonoma Coast, just 5 miles from the Pacific, the wine enjoys the best of both climates; that gentle, seductive fruit classic to Russian River and the world-class structure and texture of wines from the near ocean vineyards.
Winemaker: Douglas Danielak
Appellation: Russian River. Atop Stoetz Ridge, far western Sonoma County, the ridge divides Russian River from Sonoma Coast.

2018 Pont Neuf Russian River Chardonnay Pont Royal...$54.99
Only 120  cases produced
Premier Cru Quality
The 2018 Pont Royal reveals a brilliant clarity both in appearance and focused flavors. The vineyard character shows in the forward citrus, fresh peach, custard and honied beeswax which are consistent hallmarks of Pont Royal. The texture is crisp, but with a satisfying fullness and great persistence of flavors. Pont Royal is a chameleon; one moment floral and lilting, bold, rich and deep the next. French oak takes a back seat to the fruit, adding nuanced aromas of toasted brioche and fine structure to the wine. We employed 80% new oak from the Vosges forest, contributing the delicate toast and vanilla aromas and playing perfectly with bright citrus fruit. Barrel-fermented, aged on the lees and bottled un-fined and unfiltered, this natural fermentation showcases the vineyard and the vintage.

2018 Pont Neuf Russian River Chardonnay Pont Marie...$74.99
Only 75  cases produced
Grand Cru Quality
We look forward to making this elegant and perfumed wine each year. Our grapes are meticulously farmed to the highest standards. Cold fog from the Pacific Ocean, only five miles to the west, tempers the warmth of summer, and ripens the grapes slowly and evenly. Powdery white soils provide optimal drainage and allow the grapes their best expression. Harvested at night to preserve freshness and to minimize damage to the fruit, the juice was extracted slowly and allowed to settle and clear prior to fermentation. The chilled juice was moved to all new gradually toasted French barrels for fermentation and then allowed to complete primary and malo-lactic fermentation, slowly and naturally. The following spring the wines were stirred gently on the lees. The wine remained quiet, developing for twelve months until it was bottled un-fined and unfiltered. In 2018 Mary selected three superb barrels for our “Pont Marie” Chardonnay. Elegant and textural, the wine is lively and supple with aromas of mineral, brioche, and white peach supported by a vibrant acidity, concentrated flavors and rich textures on the palate. We feel that this single-vineyard lot, comprised uniquely of Montrachet clone, is the ultimate in opulence. Best now-2035. 75 cases produced.

Extra info about the owners

Douglas Danielak

For the past twenty years, winemaker Douglas Danielak has made wine for some of the Napa Valley's most respected wineries. Influenced by all things French, Douglas started his winemaking career completing the Professional Winemaking Program at the Lycée Agricole et Viticole de Beaune in Burgundy. At that time he worked with Wine Exporter Rebecca Wasserman at Le Serbet where he gained in-depth knowledge of Burgundian wines and barrels while escorting top winemakers to Francois Fréres and Taransaud cooperages. While studying in France, Douglas worked his first harvest at Chateau de Chambolle-Musigny with his friend and classmate Frederic Mugnier as well as studying and making life-long friends with the sons and daughters of many prized domaines of the Cote d'Or.

Upon returning to California Douglas was able to continue his pursuit of perfection in Pinot and Chardonnay. As few vintners at the time were interested in Pinot and Chardonnay, Douglas formed part of a tasting group of early believers in 1989 including Helen Turley, Mark Aubert, David Ramey and Ted Lemon.

In addition to his studies in Burgundy and tasting with his peers in California, Douglas completed his degree in Viticulture and Enology at U.C. Davis and began a successful wine consulting business in Napa Valley. As one of the first Rhone Rangers, Douglas founded the Jade Mountain label with Jim Paras and was recognized as one of the top innovators of Rhone wine in America. Since then he has expanded his repertoire, crafting fine Bordeaux based wines, Rhones, and naturally Chardonnay and Pinot Noir for his list of clients. With a background and philosophy common to small vintners on either side of the Atlantic, all the wines are made to speak clearly of their origin. With a new set of compelling wines, Douglas and Mary bring the same complexity, charm, and sensibility that was forged by their experience in Burgundy to the wines of Pont Neuf.

Mary Danielak
While Mary worked with French wine exporter Rebecca Wasserman, the opportunity to combine her love of food & wine, language and photography was the chance of a lifetime. Meeting and working with both French and American wine producers proved to be key in what lay ahead for her career.

Upon returning to the United States the couple moved to Napa Valley and she became wine buyer for Oakville Grocery Company as the business began an expansion to five retail stores and the Oakville Café. Over the 18 years in Oakville she honed her marketing skills and developed the reputation as one of the most respected palates in the industry. The relationships formed with Californian winemakers visiting Burgundy had informed and shaped her talents as a buyer and they continued to flourish. When she was not at the store, she was pitching in at harvest and assisting Douglas with his winemaking projects. With a firm grounding on two continents Mary developed a concise understanding of wine from both the New and Old Worlds. Douglas and Mary now enjoy utilizing their talents in guiding their own label, Pont Neuf.
