Both's Old Tom Gin

Both's Old Tom Gin...$37.99
Alcohol by Volume: 47% (94 PROOF)
Origination: Product of Germany
Tasting Notes: Both’s Old Tom Gin has a fairly subdued nose, with a slight sweetness and mild floral notes. In the mouth you get a strong fruity sweetness followed by an intense mixture of floral notes. Strong violet and lavender is noticeable, plus a candy-like sweetness and a mild juniper background. The fruit and floral notes linger in the sweet finish, and despite it being a hefty 47% Vol. this Gin remains relatively smooth with just a mild burn on the finish. This Gin is certainly very different to a traditional London Dry Gin.

Still 630 Volstead's Folly American Gin

Still 630 Volstead's Folly American Gin....$26.99 / 750ml
81 Proof
I founded this company to make the best spirits I can. I love whiskey and rum, but I also love gin too damnit. So now we’re making a glorious gin!

In dubious honor of the infamous Andrew Volstead, the Father of Prohibition, we proudly present this American Gin. Juniper forward, with sweet elderberry and bold pine flavor, rounded out with citrus and warm spice notes. Exquisitely balanced, this gin is different than that made under the stuffy monarchy we rightly left behind all those years ago. This is an American Gin with no apologies. The kind of gin you’d expect from a craft distillery founded on whiskey and rum. It’s balanced enough to sip alone and also shine in any cocktail. This is the gin for people who like drinking.
The artwork is intended to represent rebel graffiti on a government poster by an unknown moonshiner during Prohibition. We used an actual historical photo of old Andy (courtesy of the Library of Congress). I like to think V would’ve approved…

Still 630 Presence of Darkness Whiskey

Still 630 Presence of Darkness Whiskey...$24.99 / 375ml
Collab with 4 Hand Brewing
The third release in our acclaimed Brewery Collaboration Series (BCS), Presence of Darkness is, perhaps, the most unique and intriguing whiskey we’ve ever produced. As all spirits in our BCS, it began life as a beer. Specifically: 4Hands Brewery’s ‘Absence of Light’, which is their incredible deep and rich peanut butter chocolate milk stout, and the inspiration for the name.

We double distilled the beer, then aged it for over 16 months in brand new, 15gallon charred American oak barrels from Missouri. It took almost a year, but eventually the dominant hot peanut butter flavor eased just enough to allow the chocolate malty notes to appear. The barrel imparted some beautiful cinnamon, vanilla, and allspice notes to round out the whiskey and create something truly special.
Trust me when I say you’ve never tasted a whiskey like this before.

It is distilled from 2 test batches of Begian Ale. Aged 18 months in Rye Whiskey barrel used for aging Boulevard Rye on Rye

Plus some of these left Batch #3, 5,and 6

Batch #3
Distilled From: Calling IPA Release
Date: August 15, 2016
Reason for Distillation and comments: On its way to Europe, the shipping container’s temperature fell out of the ideal storage temperature range. As beer’s sensitivity to temperature fluctuations has the ability to cause unforeseen flavor changes, the brewery didn’t want to take any chances. When Boulevard dumped all the kegs, it equated to approximately 1,000 gallons of beer.
Distillation Proof: 137 proof
Bottled Proof: 89 proof Bottles in
Batch: 680 bottles
Notes from the Distiller: Aroma: hoppy, floral Taste: very hop forward, sweet, malty backbone, floral Mouthfeel: full, creamy, clean finish, oily Potential Cocktail: Egg White Sour

Batch #5

Distilled From: Unfiltered Wheat Beer with a hint of Applewood Smoke
Release Date: August 17, 2016
Reason for Distillation and comments: One of the first fermentations in the newly constructed Cellar 5 at Boulevard, this batch of UWB didn’t pass the rigorous testing Boulevard places on all of its brews. The average person wouldn’t have been able to decipher any wrong in the beer, but the seasoned sensory panel was able to spot a flaw.
Distillation Proof: 147 proof
Bottled Proof: 89 proof
Bottles in Batch: 990 bottles
Notes from the Distiller: Aroma: sweet, grainy, slightly fruity, banana, pineapple, floral, slight citrus, bread Taste: campfire, sweet, soft wheat backbone, fruit, mineral, banana, pineapple, grain, slight spice Mouthfeel: full, creamy, clean finish, oily Potential Cocktail: Neat to experience the hint of smoke

Bookers Bourbon Blue Knights Batch...$59.99
I’m proud to announce the second release in the Booker’s® Bourbon 2017 Collection – Booker’s Batch 2017-02, also called “Blue Knights Batch.” This batch is named in tribute to one of my dad’s lesser-known group of friends, the Blue Knights® Motorcycle Club, an international brotherhood of active and retired law enforcement officers who share a passion for motorcycle riding and cruise together across the country.

Many years ago, my dad, Booker Noe, was invited to attend aBlue Knights’ rally in Kentucky. He eagerly accepted because, as he put it, you could never have too many police officer friends.Dad made fast friends with the Blue Knights, and before you know it, he’d invited all 300 of them over to our house the next day for a BBQ lunch. You can imagine Mom’s face when he told her at breakfast the next day. But, that was Dad – larger-thanlife and always making new friends.

We must have gone to every grocery store in town to host lunch for a crowd that size, but we did it, and it became an annual event each Memorial Day weekend. The Blue Knights even went on to name Dad an honorary member of their club.

I know Dad would be proud to honor the Blue Knights with their very own batch of his namesake bourbon as a tribute to the many years of friendship they shared. I hope you’ll join me in raising a glass of Booker’s “Blue Knights” and toasting to brotherhood and great bourbon.
-- Fred Noe, Beam Family's 7th Generation Master Distiller

Bookers Bourbon Tommy's Batch...$59.99
“I'm proud to share the first of four batches in the Booker's® Bourbon 2017 Batch Collection, Batch 2017-01, also called Booker's "Tommy's Batch." I’m especially pleased to release this special batch as our first, as it is named in tribute to Tommy Crume, who started his career at the distillery as a young man and worked closely alongside Dad for decades. They spent so much time together that we used to joke that he was like a second son to Dad!

Over all those years, Tommy learned just how Dad liked things to be done around the distillery, especially when it came to his namesake bourbon and eventually worked his way up to Distillery Manager at the Clermont, Ky. plant, helping to make sure that everything continued to run just the way Dad would have wanted.

After almost 30 years with us, Tommy retired in 2016 and I know Dad would be honored to name the first batch of 2017 after his dear friend. I hope you'll join me in raising a glass of Booker's "Tommy's Batch" in celebration of Dad’s legacy and Tommy’s, too.”
-- Fred Noe, Beam Family's 7th Generation Master Distiller

LABEL INSPIRATION
I selected this batch with the help of Tommy himself, the Booker’s Roundtable and a select group of whiskey experts and writers. The batch consisted of two production dates aged in three different warehouses. The breakdown of the barrel locations is as follows:

41% came from the 6th floor of the 9 story warehouse E

Creyente Mezcal

Mezcal Creyente Joven...$39.99
Mezcal Creyente ™ Joven is the union of two extraordinary mezcales of the regions of Tlacolula and Yautepec, in Oaxaca. The result is a perfect blend, made with 100% agave sprat.

The three main parts of our mezcal are represented in a new mythological animal. The soft, velvety and complex body is incarnated by the elusive jaguar. The sweet, fruity and herbaceous notes are represented by the agile and elegant legs of the antelope. The sublime taste of smoked mesquite wood unifies these elements and comes to life in a symbol of Mexican tradition: the Real Eagle. The result of this mixture is a mild and complex flavored mezcal.

Believer has the philosophy that everything is possible, and this belief is reflected in the need to create an incredible mezcal. Bebe Believer in the traditional way: accompanied by a slice of orange and sangrita.
