8 Year Old Rum

Parce was founded by three brothers who simply put, were quite taken with Colombia. Inspired by its beauty and the warmth and hospitality of its people, they wanted to share the time-honored tradition of celebrating quality rum with others. The brothers found the perfect partners in a father-and-son duo of master blenders from Bogota. Arthur and Brojen Fernandes Domecq have a combined history of more than 50 years working with fine rum. The Domecq family boasts nearly three centuries of crafting traditional wine, sherry and brandy in the south of Spain. Brojen's grandfather, Jose Ignacio Domecq, was known in the industry as "La Nariz" (the nose) for his expertise in sniffing and blending. La Nariz's legacy lives on in Colombia with Brojen and Arthur's innate understanding of rum derived from pure ingredients, then carefully aged.

In Colombia, "parce" is casual for "good friend." Which is, of course, why we hope you enjoy this rum casually with good friends.

2013 Felsina Rancia Chianti Classico Riserva

2013 Felsina Rancia Chianti Classico Riserva...$45.99
Fèlsina's 2013 Chianti Classico Riserva Rancia bristles with energy, with veins of underlying acidity that give the wine its focus and drive. Dark red cherry, plum, rose petal, herb and licorice are some of the signatures. Most of the Fèlsina Chianti Classicos are defined by their dark fruit and savory notes, but the Rancia is also wonderfully bright and lifted from start to finish while staying very much true to the house style. Today, the Rancia gives the impression it will unwind at a glacial pace. I imagine most bottles of the 2013 will be drunk before the wine truly enters its prime.
Rated 96+/100 Vinous

Here is another highlight of the vintage. The 2013 Chianti Classico Riserva Rancia is a dark, moody and sophisticated wine. It does not reveal itself immediately or in any obvious way. Instead, it doses out its intensity in careful measurements. The whole performance is seductive to say the least. That slow momentum leads to dark cherry with spice, grilled herb, wet earth and dried rose. Felsina's Riserva Rancia is a very elegant wine, both on the nose and in the mouth.

2014 Isole e Olena Cepparello

2014 Isole e Olena Cepparello...$69.99
The 2014 Cepparello is one of the truly great wines of the vintage. Vivid and intense in all of its dimensions, it exudes purity from start to finish. Silky tannins, expressive aromatics and beautifully delineated, bright, layered Sangiovese fruit are some of the signatures. In 2014, Paolo De Marchi produced an epic Cepparello for the ages. Don't miss it.
Rated 97/100 Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media
The 2014 Cepparello is truly beautiful, and it absolutely transcends the expectation of the vintage. This beautiful Sangiovese is full and generous on all levels. It offers an upfront presentation with opulent fruit, deep layering and fine elegance. This is a special kind of magic. The wine opens to an inky dark appearance followed by generous flavors of dark cherry, black currant, red rose and cured tobacco. I just love the way this wine integrates with the palate, becoming one in soul and substance. This is a wine to put in your cellar.

Our location, on the northern California coast, is in close proximity to the migratory path of gray whales and the southern habitat of orcas. The plight of Steller sea lions and their declining populations is an issue that resonates with us. This is also the birthplace of whale activism. In the spirit of the Mendocino Whale Wars of the late 1960s and early 70s, North Coast Brewing is pledging our support to marine mammal research conducted in coastal areas throughout the Pacific. For every case of North Coast Steller IPA sold, North Coast Brewing makes a contribution to marine mammal research.

Like muscat, spruce tips, and pennyroyal, North Coast Steller IPA is redolent of resinous terpenes: myrcene, linalool, pinene, and geraniol.

North Coast Beachmaster Imperial IPA

The Pacific Ocean and its rich variety of sea life is part of our daily experience here on the Mendocino Coast. Since the release of North Coast Brewing’s first beers in 1988, we have sought to reflect our love of the coastal world in our lively array of iconic beers.

Beachmaster, an Imperial IPA, is a tribute and companion to our flagship beer, Ruedrich’s Red Seal Ale, honoring the mighty Northern Elephant Seals that frequent our coast from Mexico to Alaska. Artist Mike Patrick, whose work has appeared on several of our labels including Red Seal Ale, Old No. 38 Stout, and North Coast Steller IPA, created the bull Elephant Seal illustration.

Green Bench IPA
This our “bench-mark” beer. A medium bodied ale with aromas of soft citrus and earthy pine combined with very subtle notes of tropical fruit. This highly hopped American style IPA leaves your pallet with a lingering dry and bitter finish. 6.8% ABV

Green Bench Sunshine City IPA
In celebration of our beautifully sunny city, this IPA was designed to be a bright as the warmest summer day. Packed with hop flavor and aroma, we double dry hop this beer with equal parts of Mosaic, Citra and Azacca, for an intensely tropical profile reminiscent of tangerine, nectar, papaya, peach, kiwi, and pineapple. 6.8% ABV

Green Bench Postcard Pils
American style Pilsners are a refreshing and complex blend of clean lager fermentation, sweet grainy flavor, and a solid American hop profile. Postcard Pils is brewed with a touch of flaked maize and US gron Mount Hood hops

Green Bench Happy Hermit Pale Ale
Silas Dent lived a simple and happy life on Cabbage Key in a hut made of palm fronds, surrounded by mangroves and wildlife with no running water and no electricity. In 1948 Dent was featured in LIFE magazine, who named him “The Happy Hermit of Cabbage Key.” It was said that Dent could forecast the weather, calculate the temperature, and commune with Poseidon himself. Before his death at the age of 76 in 1952, Dent claimed that “civilization is too dangerous.” Our Happy Hermit Pale Ale is a sessionable, hop forward approach to the style that is a perfect match for a breezy St. Petersburg afternoon, and like Silas, is one of a kind. 4.9% ABV

Aviation Gin

Great price on this highly rated gin!
Aviation Gin...$19.99 / 750ml
With its clean, neutral profile, this graceful gin works well with just about anything, from aviation cocktails to bone-dry martinis. On the palate, look for bewitching hints of caraway, juniper, grapefruit and a dry, faintly spicy finish. ABV: 42%
Rated 97/100 The Wine Enthusiast

Our Declaration of Independence
Aviation belongs to an entirely new category of dry gins. These gins embody a shift away from the usual overabundance of juniper toward a more forward balance of botanicals. Aviation explores the rich, floral and savory notes of lavender, cardamom, and sarsaparilla to capture the lushness, spice, creativity, and freshness of the Pacific Northwest. In this way, we offer the American palate its first real taste of American gin.

Why the name “Aviation”?
A simple and unique balance of gin, maraschino liqueur, and freshly squeezed lemon juice. That’s the classic Aviation cocktail invented by barman Hugo Ensslin at New York’s Hotel Wallick almost a century ago. One taste is all it took for Aviation co-founder Ryan Magarian to realize that instead of being limited to martinis and gin & tonics, “gin, in the hands of a passionate and well trained bartender, just might be the world’s most mixable spirit.” So a brand name, and a mission, was born.

It was 10 Years old at bottling, distilled in Spain from Spanish Malt. This 2017 bottling is sourced from the same batch of casks as Navazos Palazzi's previous Spanish malt releases. The spirit is rested at full proof in freshly emptied Oloroso Sherry Casks. This is the "Bota Punta", the cask at the beginning of the bottom row of barrels. The casks ages in a special way: due to its location it is often subjected to more air and light than the other casks in the solera. As well, it is more aerated, as the Bota Punta is the cask most often used to sample distillery guests. This 2017 release is one of 900 bottles, unfiltered, undiluted, and cask strength.

After four years of rest, the first of these casks, Cask #55 has been bottled unfiltered for release in 2017
