The result is extra fruity, extra satisfying and extra Delicious.

Garrison Brothers Cowboy Bourbon

Only 3 bottles available (at Forsyth and online)
Garrison Brothers Cowboy Bourbon...$229.99
134.8 proof
9,600 bottles made
Once a year Garrison Brothers releases one of the most highly-coveted bourbon whiskeys in America: Cowboy Bourbon®. Unlike our Small Batch, Cowboy comes from Dan and Donnis’ favorite barrels. These barrels are set aside for a couple of years for further maturation and the liquid is bottled at cask-strength, uncut and unfiltered. It is the ultimate ambrosia.

It takes a special barrel to create a bourbon nectar sweet enough to be enjoyed at such a high proof. The potency normally overpowers the flavor. This ain’t the case with Cowboy Bourbon – it’s so sweet, the flavor overpowers its proof. And you can thank the Texas heat for that.

But as delicious as it all sounds, make sure you proceed with caution; barrel-proof bourbon is not for everyone. It should always be savored in moderation. For something strong enough to run a car engine, the finish is incredibly smooth. It’s peppery, with a restrained current of warmth. While surprising, maybe it ought not be, as that restraint makes it ideal for summertime drinking. This stuff was heat-forged in Texas, after all.

Riverset / TWCP Rum Finished in Rye Casks...$47.99
Barrel Proof: 132.7 proof
Barrel No. 2
Imported from Venezuela Rum and finished in Memphis, TN
The Mississippi River was the main artery of North American spirits distribution. Whiskey was shipped downriver from Memphis, and rum was shipped upriver from New Orleans. With Riverset Rum, we have combined the profiles of these two spirits by finishing imported Caribbean rum in our Riverset Rye whiskey casks allowing the vanilla and spice notes from the whiskey to mellow the rum’s inherent sweetness, adding depth and complexity. Bottled at cask strength, Riverset Rum is designed for the experienced drinker who appreciates high proof spirits. Riverset Rum is not for the faint of heart. Go against the currents and push the limits with us. There’s always more room aboard this ship. Cheers!

2019 Chateau Lafon Rochet Saint Estephe

2019 Chateau Lafon Rochet Saint Estephe...$54.99
Brilliant stuff, the 2019 Château Lafon-Rochet shows the best of the vintage with its pure, precise, elegant, yet at the same time concentrated style. Showing lots of ripe currant, plum, tobacco, Asian spice, and cedar pencil aromatics, it's medium to full-bodied, has nicely integrated acidity, and just seamless tannins. It's beautifully done and well worth seeking out. It's going to evolve for 20-25+ years. Bestafter 2022.
Rated 95/100 Jeb Dunnuck
Ripe and sleek, delivering cassis, damson plum, loganberry and mulberry notes that glisten, with iron, anise, black tea and savory accents. Offers lovely precision and poise, even as the fruit flirts with an exotic blend. Mouthwatering finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Best from 2023 through 2038. Tasted twice, with consistent notes.

Falling outside standard labeling rules, Red Schooner does not include a vintage date but is known by the voyage from which it traveled (i.e. Voyage 10 is the 2020 vintage). Strikingly smooth, with scents and flavors of dark fruit and fine, textural tannins.

Rieslingfreak 2022 Rieslings

New 2022s arriving!
2022 Rieslingfreak No.12 Riesling....$27.99
Flaxman & Eden Valley
You've got to have a bit of the masochist in you to drink Eden Valley Riesling in the same year it was made, such is the tension of acidity in the mouth. It's thrilling, and I don't say that lightly. The fruit for this 2022 No. 12 comes from a vineyard in Flaxman's Valley, up in Eden, and it is a tightly coiled, wound up and mineral. There is an austere kind of flesh to the bones here; in Riesling terms, you'd be remiss to use any other word than "powerful." This is sensational: muscly, lean and lithe. 2021 and 2022 were a fine pair of vintages to have side by side, and if it's possible, I think the inherent power in this 2022 iteration places it slightly ahead of the floral, graceful 2021.
Rated 96/100 The Wine Advocate
A very complex and expressive Eden Valley dry riesling with a very wide spectrum of aromas from lime to orange blossom and sushi ginger. Stunning depth and vitality on the super-focused palate. Incredible wet stone intensity at the limey finish. Drink or hold. Screw cap.
Rated 95/100 James Suckling
Rated 95/100 James Halliday

This one sold out instantly last year, this is just our second vintage!
Only 24 bottles available again this year!
2022 Rieslingfreak Riesling Clare Valley Eden Valley No. 10...$31.99
The 2022 No. 10 is a regional blend of 59% Clare Valley and 41% Eden Valley. The wine captures the essence of both areas: the flesh and enveloping nature of the Clare Valley and the crushed rock austerity and distinct floweriness of the Eden. In some senses, it lacks the definition that some of the other cuvées possess, due to its sourcing, but what it misses there, it picks up in density, line, length and form. This is a savory, lingering and powerful Riesling, one for the ages. The lemony acidity lingers in the mouth in a Warheads way; it will live an age if you choose to cellar it.
Rated 95+/100 The Wine Advocate
Made for the long-term, this remarkable 2022 dry riesling has citrus aromas that range from lime to pomelo plus green mango and touches of flint and parsley. For the cool vintage this has a very impressive ripeness and a seriously racy finish that lights up the sky. A cuvee of 59% Clare Valley and 41% Eden Valley wines. Drink or hold.
Rated 95/100 James Suckling
Rated 95/100 James Halliday

Initially only made to serve exclusively to family. After deciding to release this wine as Rieslingfreak No.10, this blend has come to represent the very best of Rieslingfreak. Sourced from only the very best parcels from across the Clare and Eden Valleys, No.10 is only produced in minute amounts from the most exceptional vintages. This release was 540 bottles.

Thistledown Where Eagles Dare Shiraz

Our first allocation of this very limited wine!
We scored only 6-12 bottles of each

2019 Thistledown Where Eagles Dare Shiraz...$69.99
Only 820 bottles made - that is less than 70 cases
Hints of crushed stone and dried herbs accent the blueberry-scented nose of the 2019 Where Eagles Dare Shiraz. Sourced from a vineyard at 550 meters above sea level, it's a large-scaled wine but one without much in the way of puppy fat. Medium to full-bodied, structured and sinewy, with a generous helping of silky tannins and a lingering, intense finish marked by savory overtones of mocha, anise and dried herbs, it should age well for more than a decade.
Rated 93/100 The Wine Advocate
Rated 94/100 The Wine Front
Rated 94/100 Vinous Media

2020 Thistledown Where Eagles Dare Shiraz...$69.99
Only 975 bottles made - only 81 cases made
The fruit for the 2020 Where Eagles Dare Shiraz is from the Matchoss Vineyard in the Eden Valley. One assumes the title refers to the great elevation at which this vineyard is situated; 550 meters above sea level is a commanding perch. The dirt up there is pink quartz pressed into ironstone, and it's compacted into all the dirt roads you care to drive down. It's a beautiful thing, actually. Aromatically, the wine offers up sumac, biltong and mulberries with a graphite, crushed lead-pencil character. The wine is minerally and layered with black tea, spring flowers, red apple skins and a raft of forest berries. Really smart, and a decant is going to open this up untold.
Rated 97/100 The Wine Advocate
