"The finest bourbon in the world comes from a single barrel. That’s the way Colonel Albert B. Blanton first bottled his private reserve bourbon nearly a century ago. Blanton believed the “center-cut” or middle sections of Warehouse H were the best for aging his bourbon. Personally tasting and choosing each barrel, these barrels were reserved and bottled for ambassadors, dignitaries, family and friends becoming the world’s first single barrel bourbon. His time honored tradition lives on today as only a handful of barrels from the center of Warehouse H are selected to become Blanton’s Single Barrel Bourbon."

Avalon 2013

When you have an amazing vintage like 2013, even the inexpensive wines are amazing.
2013 Avalon California Cabernet Sauvignon...$7.99
Compare to the lowest price in MO at $8.77 Total Wine and More
We uncovered the hidden corners of California to identify the finest vines for each bottle of our CAB. We’ve done all the hard work so you can relax and confidently serve a quality, affordable wine to your family and friends. Make Avalon your Go To CAB for any occasion!

Napa Valley is the nexus of finesse. Paso Robles’ punishing heat extracts deep character. Lodi’s life-giving soils result in bright fruit flavors. When blended in Avalon CAB, these three regions reveal the complexity for which California Cabernet Sauvignon is known. Its aromas of blueberry jam, strawberry tart and boysenberries lead the way to rich black cherries, red raspberries and plums.

Booker's Bourbon new batch

Booker's Small Batch Bourbon Annis' Answer Small Batch...$39.99
2016 - 02
MASTER DISTILLER NOTES
“The batch is made up of barrels from four different production dates stored in 5 different storage areas. The oldest barrels in the batch were 7 years, 1 month old and the youngest barrels were 6 years, 2 month old. This batch has an aroma that opens up well after a short period of time in the glass. The vanilla comes through with a lot of other sweet notes as most batches of Bookers. The mouth feel is good with a little more heat that lingers on the back of your throat which I appreciated on the cool morning I sampled the batch. With a small amount of water added, this batch opens up nice. If Booker were still alive I know he would say “I done good” on this batch.”
Fred Noe

LABEL INSPIRATION
“The second batch in the Booker’s Bourbon 2016 Batch Collection, “Annis’ Answer,” is named in honor of the day my husband, Booker Noe, asked me to be his wife. Booker and I first met when I was working as a dental hygienist, and he was one of my patients. While I didn’t think much of it at first, friends reintroduced us a few years later and the rest is history. We started a journey that would lead to a very special day - April 7th, 1956 - the day we were married. This is such a special moment for me as I remember Booker’s larger-than-life personality and our wonderful time together on what would have been our 60th wedding anniversary. I’m pleased to honor Booker’s legacy with the release of this batch. While I don’t drink too much bourbon these days, I wasn't going to pass up the chance to give this batch a taste. Annis' Answer offers the rich flavors of vanilla that Booker always looked for in his namesake bourbon. I know Booker would want fans of the brand to enjoy this special release, so I hope you’ll join me in raising a glass to toast Booker, our many adventures together as husband and wife and the question that began it all.”
--Annis Wickham Noe, Wife of Booker Noe

Johnnie Walker Blue Label at a great price!

Special limited edition bottle- "Year of the Monkey"

Great Gift Father's Day Gift!
Johnnie Walker Blue Label Year of the Monkey...$189.99
Johnnie Walker Blue Label sets the standard, a blend of the rarest malts from hand-selected casks across Scotland. Its flavors are influenced by the smoke of the west and the rich, sweet whiskies of the east. The whiskies that compose Blue Label are especially selected for their individuality from some of the rarest stocks in the Johnnie Walker reserves; only one in 10,000 casks is deemed to be of sufficient character for selection.
“The layers of taste evolve and resonate with an elegant smoky finish.”
Serve neat in a tumbler with a glass of iced water on the side to fully appreciate the slow, intense, rich, deep and multilayered experience.
Blue Label is the ultimate tribute to those who define themselves not by where they stand, but by where they are going. It has traditionally been enjoyed on holidays, birthdays, and moments of celebration and achievement; regardless of the occasion, it is a gift for those whose defining moment has yet to be defined.

Fantome - do not miss them!

Fantome Saison....$11.99 / 750ml
Fruity, complex saison beer from the Ardennes forest from a tiny farmhouse brewery very hard to find even in Belgium.
8% alc. by volume, with a wonderfully musty and characterful aroma. “Absolutely gorgeous, complex summer refresher with enough interest to drink all year-round.” (The Beers of Wallonia). Both authors give this beer a perfect 10. We would not give it a 10 (even if we knew what that meant) but there are drinkers out there who believe this is the “Nectar of the Gods.” Certainly, no other brewer makes beer like this, in Belgium or anywhere.
How many beers of 8% plus offer such fresh fruitiness? A solid Belgian saison beer at its base, with an unusual overlay of fruitiness.

Fantome Forest Ghost...$16.99 / 750ml

New from Sweden - Brekeriet

Brekeriet - Sweden
Our beers are complex and rustic farmhouse ales fermented with wild yeast and often also bacterias. All of our beers are fermented with the wild yeast Brettanomyces which gives the beer its unique characteristics. Some of our beers are also fermented with berries or fruit.
…nothing but natural ingredients and never any artificial nor natural flavorings…
The products are divided into two categories, Wild Bunch and Sour Patch. The Wild Bunch beers are produced continuously and fermented in Landskrona and the Sour Patch beers are often special experiments and one-offs fermented with bacterias in Djurslöv.
Our niche is, as the only brewery in Sweden, to ferment our beers with nothing but wild yeast and/or bacteria. We also secondary ferment many of our beers with berries or fruit in order to further enhance the taste experience.

Anchorage back in stock

Anchorage Anadromous Black Sour Ale...$14.99
Rated 97/100 RateBeer
Brewed with Summit Hops. Aged in French Oak Pinot Noir barrels with Kodiak Salmon Berries and brettanomyces. Triple Fermented.

"The cycle of life can be harsh or rewarding.  Born in fresh water, the might anadromous Alaska Salmon struggle in their migration from our pristine, roaring streams to the coean and back, traveling thousands of miles while avoiding  many perils, simply to instinctively spawn and die, and often become a source of food in our own life cycle.
Sour beers have a distinct life cycle as well in their journey from the oak to the bottle, and ultimately add a rewarding contribution to our own path through life.  Rather than slumber in the oak where Anchorage Brewing Company's Anadromous is born, the beer matures for a year and a half while instinctively avoiding the sometimes offsetting perils of fermentation and souring in the deep, dark underworld of the oak.
Unseen to mortals, the beer fights its way to maturity, avoiding attacking bacteria, the alcohol itself and other hidden dangers that might curtail the beer's noble journey to our goblets.
Anadromous is Anchorage Brewing Company's tribute to our rewards and struggles in life.  Over 40 different Pinot Noir oak barrels of sour beer were blended to capture the unique contribution of each.  Bottle conditioning and time add additional complexity and sourness to the noble brew along its path from the brewery to your glass.
Pull the cork on this mighty species and add a unique experience to your cycle of life.  Anadromous is alive and enriching, so enjoy it while celebrating all things good.

Anchorage Love Buzz Saison......$13.99 / 750ml

Rated 100/100 on RateBeer
Rated 100/100 for its style on RateBeer
"Ale brewed with Hobb Family rose hips, peppercorns and fresh orange peels. Dry hopped in the barrel with Citra Hops. Triple fermented - first in the tank with a belgian yeast, second in french oak Pinot Noir barrels with brett, and finally in the bottle with a third yeast for natrual carbonation" -- bottle
"A feeling overcomes, deriving of a most curious perplexity. A rich desire awakens to explore the contents of such delicate loveliness. Upon a deep connection with rounded lips, a bitter sweet complexity enters the soul...and so begins an amorous affair heightened awareness envelopes the senses as the grandeur of such bold character develops. Caramel beauty exhibits itself, sprawling its full body widely upward, bubbling with excitement. Tantalizing effects of peppery bitterness grasps the tongue. Enchantment takes hold as a blanket of citrus slowly unfolds. As in any noteworthy love story, a subtle fruity sweetness of a rose emerges to the finish. A warm contentment grazes over, signifying a united marriage of balance and pleasure.

Fortitude has revealed itself to those who have encountered such an enriching experience. An experience so delectable, so defining, so unequivocal. An experience that is Love's Buzz." -- bottle

Anchorage Brewing Bitter Monk....$13.99 / 750ml

Rated 100/100 on RateBeer
"Belgian Style Double IPA with Brettamyces. Ale brewed with Apollo, Citra, and Simcoe hops. Dry hopped in the barrel with Citra hops. Triple fermented - first in the tank with a belgian yeast, second in French oak Chardonnay Barrels with brett, and finally in the bottle with a third yeast for natural carbonation." - label
"Deep within the tortured aberrations of a monk's mind there lay a concept of a Holy Grail of beer -- a beer oft imagined but never tasted, strived for but never achieved. It's Belgian heritage manifested in its yeasty complexity, softened and rounded in its cooperage Francais and made to sparkle like the stars first seen by his distant predecessor, Dom Perignon.

Bitter Monk Belgian Double IPA is such a beer. Redelent of citrusy hop bittering and massive malt infusion, this is a beer to ponder, to sip, and, even for a monk, to dream. Why then is the monk so bitter? What provokes that sly smile? What is he wearing under that flowing robe? A triple-fermented beer gives three times the mystery. Remember, anything worth doing is worth over doing. Nothing exceeds like excess. Even for the cloistered." - label
