Cases de Pene is a tiny village in the Roussillon region of Southern France, just 30 miles north of Spain. Ceded to France in the mid 17th century, the area is still known as “French Catalonia”. We celebrate this heritage with the Catalan spelling of this wine produced in the ancient Château and village Cooperative: “Penya”.

2021 Schafer Frohlich Riesling Felseneck Grosses Gewachs...$129.99 / 750ml
The 2021 Felseneck GG is a wild expression of crushed flint and slate stones, herbs, green leaves, chamomile and lime zests along with iodine notes of lemon juice. Full-bodied but rich and very elegant on the palate, this is a pure, crystalline, sharp and dense laser sword of a dry Riesling that many might call too ascetic for now, but the richness, intensity, concentration and balance are just perfect to guarantee long bottle aging. The tannins are fine and intermingled with salts and extract, power and richness and the character of crushed stones. Very long, intense, concentrated and rich, this is a legend in the making.
Wine Advocate: 99-100 Points

2020 Diel Riesling Pittermannchen Grosses Gewachs GG...$74.99 / 750ml
Very expressive citrus-zest, oolong-tea and melon aromas. Then, with a little aeration, cassis and basil notes develop. Super-racy and super slatey, this very sleek and pristine dry riesling is just beginning to show its class. Stunningly vibrant and salty finish! Drinkable now, but best from 2023.
James Suckling: 97 Points

Grenache Sampler

Grenache
"Grenache is the French name for the red grape known as Garnacha in Spain and Cannonau in Italy. Today, Grenache is the star of red blends in France's Southern Rhône Valley, reaching its pinnacle in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. It is widely grown in Spain, where it's dominant in Priorat and a component of blends with Tempranillo in Rioja and other regions. Cannonau is one of the main grapes in Italy's Sardinia. It also has a growing presence in the New World, in places like California and Australia.
Grenache buds early but ripens late. It thrives in warm climates, and likes stony soils like gravel, as well as limestone, clay and sand. In Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the vineyards are studded with large, round stones called galets. The wines tend to have low to moderate acidity, and the berries can reach high sugar levels, resulting in relatively high-alcohol wines, but still retaining balance with vibrant fruit.
Grenache can vary widely in style, depending on where it's grown, but also what grapes it is blended with—Syrah and Mourvèdre are common partners. Generally, the wines show a mix of red and dark fruit, like cherry, raspberry and blackberry. They can have some spice, often manifested with black pepper and star anise notes, and also display pronounced dried-herb qualities, such as bay leaf and tobacco." -- Wine Spectator

Southern Rhône: Château de Beaucastel, Henri Bonneau, Clos des Papes, Domaine du Pégaü, Château Rayas, Domaine St.-Préfert

Grenache ROSE
Offering impressive density and concentration, striking purity of fruit, and true and loud expressions of Spain’s classic varietals, Arrumaco has become a go-to label that has risen to the top in a crowded category of sensational values.
Tasting Notes: Lighter in color and body than many other Spanish rosés. Loaded with intense raspberry and plum aromas that follow to a crisp yet silky palate.
Serve With: Excellent on its own and with a wide range of lighter fare. The perfect summer sipper and tapas wine!

2020 Lumen Grenache Santa Barbara County...$29.99
Light-colored in the glass, this bottling from the Martian and Nolan ranches in Alisos Canyon hits the nose with fresh cherry, wet earth and dewy sage aromas. There's a light tension to the palate, where snappy pomegranate and strawberry flavors are quite quaffable.
Rated 93/100 The Wine Enthusiast

2019 Sella & Mosca Cannonau di Sardegna Riserva....$19.99
Grenache (Cannonnau)

This is really delicious with berries, cherries, crushed stones, slate and dried rosemary. Subtle and flavorful at the same time. Medium tannins that are polished and pretty. Spices at the end. Grenache, as you may know already. Drink or hold.
Rated 93/100 James Suckling

2021 Thistledown Grenache McLaren Vale Thorny Devil...$27.99
Aromas of savory spice, hung deli meat and blood fill the senses, but it is in the mouth where the purity and succulence of the fruit is revealed. This 2021 Thorny Devil Grenache is long and savory, sweet and fine, built into a framework of pliable tannin and exotic spice. Balanced and exciting.
Rated 95/100 The Wine Advocate
Rated 93/100 James Suckling
Rated 94/100 James Halliday

2020 Atalaya Laya Red Blend....$9.49
70% Garnacha Tintorera, 30% Monastrell
The 2020 Laya is balanced, harmonious and serious, and the vintage seems to have absorbed the oak quite nicely. This is always produced with 70% Garnacha Tintorera and 30% Monastrell. It fermented in stainless steel vats with neutral yeasts, with malolactic in barrel, where the wine matured for four months.
Rated 90+/100 The Wine Advocate
Rated 90/100 James Suckling

2021 Les Darons Languedoc Red Blend....$16.99
75% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 5% Carignan

A great red from the Languedoc, consistently scores 90 points are higher.
Grenache and Carignan have long been cultivated in Southern France and represent the “forefathers” of the Languedoc Appellation’s red wines. Les Darons is an homage showcasing these classic varietals. Named after the forefather grapes, “Les Darons” is the affectionate term for “The Parents” in the Parisian suburbs where winemaker, Jeff Carrel was born. Les Darons is an accessible wine with loads of character. Packed with ripe, red and dark fruit aromas, this Languedoc red has plenty of spice and a streak of underlying minerality. Serve with: Enjoy this classic, unoaked red with a wide range of everyday meals.

Stone Brewing Delicious IPA Variety pack

Stone Brewing Delicious IPA Variety pack....$10.99 / 6pk

Includes 2 of each in this 6 pack
Stone Delicious IPA
When creating an IPA deserving of the name “Delicious,” intense flavor was paramount, and that’s just what this bright, citrus-forward standout brings to the table. Crafted to reduce gluten, the beer and its magnificent lemon candylike flavor and hop spice can be enjoyed by nearly everyone.
Stone Delicious Citrus IPA
Stone Delicious IPA has been a rising star in our lineup thanks to its intense lemony-herbal flavor and aroma. That got us thinking… Why not amp up the citrus factor even more? Adding Talus hops to the mix brings in vibrant tangerine notes which are further amplified by the addition of sweet orange peel. The result is extra citrusy, extra juicy and extra Delicious.
Stone Delicious Double IPA
It’s hard to improve on something with a well-deserved name like Stone Delicious IPA… unless of course you could double the Deliciousness. We’re talking serious depth of flavor and an explosive aroma of lemon & tropical fruit from Centennial and Amarillo hops, all with less bitterness than a typical double IPA. The result is extra fruity, extra satisfying and extra Delicious.
