Mancino Vermouth Vecchio...$179.99 / liter
The first aged Italian Vermouth, dark tawny brown, year aged oak aroma, cherry, honey, raisons, quinne, orange zest and liquorice.
Starting its life as the Mancino Rosso Amaranto, this extraordinary vermouth, has been resting in a single Italian Oak barrel for one year, making it the first aged, sweet vermouth.
Its character has gained strengths of old wood, time and additional spice, thus, demanding a little more respect. It has developed a richer, nutty and fruitier nose, with essences of Cherry, Honey, Raisons, dark chocolate and Vanilla. Not losing its original palate, but expanding in flavour and substance, the Mancino Vecchio will deliver a burst of a deeper bitter sweet, aged experience. Treat it as you would an old gentleman

A little about Pierre...
Pierre Franc de Ferrière, born in New Zealand (NZ mother, French father), moved to France at 10 months old as my parents were taking over the family vineyard in Bordeaux, in my father's family since 1937. I grew up helping on the farm and am now making the wines at the property. The vineyard is located in the eastern part of the Bordeaux region and we produce a majority of red wine, as well as white, rosé and sparkling. The vineyard size is 45 acres and we also have beef cattle. We are in the process of converting the vineyard to organic this year and will be certified for the 2021 vintage.
My partner Sheena (born in Illinois, worked 10 years in finance in NYC) and I met on the vineyard during harvest. We are now a couple and have started an French wine import business together. We spend about 4 months a year in the U.S. to develop sales and the remaining 8 months are spent on the vineyard, either pruning in the winter, working on the tractor or making wines when harvest comes.
I have a masters degree in oenology (wine doctor) and viticulture which gives me the tools to bring new ideas and knowledge to the family business, as much in the vineyard practices as well as in the making of the wines.
Our goal with Sheena is to educate the American market and introduce them to small family owned French wines at affordable prices. We have noticed a growing interest from the midwest in our wines and there is nothing more satisfying than sharing our experiences with enthusiastic people.

---Pierre Franc de Ferrière

More about the wines
2018 Medimer Viognier....$12.99
Well-rounded, fruity and exoticShiny yellow with intense green hues. Complex and rich in aromas of large-stone fruit such as white peach and apricot. Attacks the mouth with richness and pleasant roundness.
This Viognier is grown on the Mediterranean waterfront is principally composed of two types of sediments: tertiary (sand, clay) and quaternary (gravel). Climate: Mediterranean, along with special humidity and freshness from the Étang de Thau, creating the finest white wines.

2017 Heritage Familial Cotes de Bordeaux Rouge...$15.99
2018 Heritage Familial Bordeaux Blanc...$15.99

This is a fantastic value made by a great Bordeaux Family- Franc de Ferriere. The family vineyard is located to the east of the Bordeaux wine region, about 25 minutes from Saint-Emilion. Wines of the Franc de Ferriere family originate from a unique area on the hills of the Dordogne river, giving the appellation all of its originality and grace.
Cultivating mainly Merlot and Cabernet varieties for the read and Sauvignon Blanc for the white, Wilfrid and his team do their utmost to produce quality wines reflecting the potential of our terroir.
Our philosophy and practices are constantly evolving in order to produce wines that are unique, elegant and full of flavours.

2018 Medimer Marselan Rose...$13.99
Fresh and quaffable
Marselan is a French wine grape that was first bred in 1961 - it is a cross between Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache
Nice pink color with a beautiful brightness. It has a pleasantly tart, lemony nose that develops into grapefruit. Pleasant acidity, the mouth is light with good strawberry and raspberry fruit and a nice dry finish that lasts and lasts.

2018 Château Haut Claribes Bordeaux Superieur...$19.99
"Reserve" of Chateau Fontana
Premium quality selection of the most beautiful berries and the most mature from the oldest vines. This wine delivers a pretty red color, a fine nose of red fruits. On the palate, the attack is clear, the material is dense and supple. It offers a very long finish, pleasant and flowery on powerful cheeses. Great with cheese!

2017 Le Grand Valmal Cotes du Rhone Villages Vieilles Vignes...$16.99
60% Syrah, 20% Grenache, 20% Mourvedre
This Rhone is the real deal and a sensational value!
Floral notes accent fresh mixed berries in this 2017 Cotes du Rhone Villages that is made from Old Vine Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre. The Syrah dominates and leads to a full-bodied wine but with silky tannins. It has a slight pepperiness to add some dimension and complexity. This wine is produced by the third generation on this estate and it is a fruit driven Cotes du Rhone with great roundness and complexity.

2017 Comte de Langeron Cote de Brouilly...$19.99
The appellation of Côte de Brouilly sits on the high slopes of the extinct volcano Mont Brouilly and is surrounded by the larger appellation of Brouilly. Cote de Brouilly is bigger and riper than regular Brouilly.
Gorgeous nose of rose petals, violets and a hint of dark roast coffee. On the palate, it has great body with a deep and generous core blueberries and ripe cherries. Drinks very well now but will age 4-8 more years. Very small production.

Beringer Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

2015 Beringer Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon...$148.98

Compare to $169.99 at Total Wine and More in St. Louis
The spice and walnut aromas are so enticing. Undertones of blackberries and black truffles. Full-bodied, dense and layered with fantastic tension and seamless tannins. It goes on for minutes. All about classic structure and beauty. Try in 2021.
Rated 99/100 James Suckling
I was able to taste to two vintages of the Private Reserve, and the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Private Reserve comes from a vintage loved by the estate. The final blend is the normal 97% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Petit Verdot brought up in 85% new French oak. This full-bodied, ripe, voluptuous beauty shows the vintage to a T, offering a blast of sweet blackcurrants, licorice, ground herbs, and graphite aromas and flavors. Blockbuster styled, with full body and an expansive, sexy texture, it has the depth and density to continue drinking brilliantly for 20+ years.
Rated 97/100 Jeb Dunnuck
Containing the tiniest splashes of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Private Reserve has a deep garnet-purple color and nose of plum preserves, baked blackberries and cassis with hints of menthol, sandalwood and chocolate box. Full-bodied with soft, seductive tannins and a lively backbone supporting the generous, ripe, opulent fruit, it has a decadent spiciness and great length.

The Best Luxury Whiskies You Can Actually Buy

TURN OUT YOUR POCKETS FOR THESE EXPENSIVE WHISKIES THAT ARE EASY TO FIND  - Whisky Advocate

Read the article here -  Whisky Advocate

Glenmorangie Signet—94 points, $220
In stock -- Our price $204.99 - order

The brand claims this release uses a unique malt as well as bespoke American oak “designer casks.” Whatever that means, this is a very viscous, oily whisky, though surprisingly delicate. Floral and citrusy on the nose, the palate has more mocha flavors, with notes of leather and tobacco. A hint of fruity esters makes this a single malt that rum fans will enjoy.

The Balvenie Tun 1509 Batch 5—92 points, $400
In stock - we have Batch #4 -- Our price $339.99 - order
This is an intriguing marriage of both bourbon and sherry casks mingled for 3 months in the distillery’s bespoke marrying vessel. This single malt presents a spicy, almost gingery nose. The palate is sweeter with a heavy sherry influence, and noticeable dark fruits. The finish is long and tannic, with hints of raisins and licorice.

The Macallan 18 year old Sherry Oak (2017 Edition)—92 points, $294

In stock - - Our price $259.99    - order
It would be negligent to talk luxury whisky without mentioning Macallan, which offers this annual release. It has a leathery nose with notes of cherries, raisins, and other dark fruits. The full-bodied palate has strong flavors of citrus, dark chocolate, espresso, and just a little smoke. The finish is long and peppery. Macallan comes by its reputation honestly.

Kavalan Vinho Barrique—92 points, $160  - Sold Out
Though Kavalan doesn’t get the attention of its Japanese brethren, if you have the money to spend, you can often find its top-level bottlings at retail. This cask-strength offering is tropical on the nose, with hints of kiwi and apricot. The palate leans more toward berries, chocolate, and espresso, with just a hint of citrus. It has a long, warming finish befitting the proof of 51.7% ABV.

Wild Turkey Master’s Keep Revival—92 points,  SOLD OUT
Unlike the limited editions from Buffalo Trace, Four Roses, and other Kentucky distilleries, Wild Turkey’s special-edition releases can often be found on shelves. Take advantage—they are worth the price. After Master’s Keep Decades earned the number-3 spot in the 2017 Top 20, the distillery released this bottle that combines bourbons aged 12-15 years that were finished in sherry casks. The result is a scotch-esque bourbon, with the aroma of a dessert bakery on the nose: coffee cake, blueberry muffins, and bread pudding. The body is likewise sweet and driven by dark fruits, though balanced by spicy notes and oak.

Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare—91 points, $400
In stock - - Our price $309.99    - order
Though Ghost and Rare is a limited-edition series for Johnnie Walker Blue, the price tends to keep this blend—which includes whiskies from shuttered distilleries, including Brora, Pittyvaich, and Cambus—on shelves. Though only 46% ABV, it drinks a bit bolder, offering a luscious mouthfeel. The nose is sweet and citrusy, with more smoke than you might expect. The palate offers notes of caramel apple, dried fruits, and baking spices, leading into a long finish.

Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare Glenury Royal

Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare Glenury Royal..$309.99
Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare Glenury Royal is the third in a series of special releases crafted using incredibly rare whiskies from the unparalleled Johnnie Walker reserves. At the heart of this limited-edition whisky lies the Highland single malt, Glenury Royal - a ‘ghost’ distillery that shut its doors in 1985 after a long and colourful history.

Founded in 1825 by Captain Robert Barclay, who was a member of the British Parliament and the first man to walk one thousand miles in one thousand hours, the distillery was destroyed in a fire, only to rise once again and flourish under Barclay’s leadership to become one of only three Scottish distilleries to have a Royal title.

Johnnie Walker Master Blender, Dr. Jim Beveridge, has long been passionate about exploring the unique flavours found in these exceptionally rare whiskies. Jim says: “Shining a light on this hidden treasure of the whisky world is something we’ve wanted to do for some time. This indulgent new limited edition provides us with a wonderful opportunity to explore the remarkable layers of rich fruit found in every drop of Johnnie Walker Blue Label.”

Jim crafted Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare Glenury Royal by blending the highly sought-after “ghost” whiskies from Cambus and Pittyvaich, with five incredibly rare malts from Glen Elgin, Inchgower, Glenlossie, Cameronbridge and Glenkinchie.

The result is a whisky with smooth, nutty layers of dark chocolate, waves of vanilla, heather honey and dried fruits and underlying notes of creamy toffee and butterscotch - all perfectly balanced by the rich, fruity, sweet apple and delicate apricot character of Glenury Royal.

Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare Glenury Royal is bottled at an ABV of 43.8% and is available globally from October 2019.

What is a “ghost whisky”?
For the unversed, the term ghost whisky refers to irreplaceable whiskies from “ghost” distilleries that have long since closed, making them a much sought-after whisky in the world of Scotch.

Octomore Islay Single Malt Edition 10.4

Bruichladdich Octomore Islay Single Malt Edition 10.4...$219.99
  • 88ppm
  • Aged 3 Years
  • 63.5% ABV
  • Super Heavily Peated
  • Virgin Oak
Octomore has always challenged convention. Many preconceived ideas about whisky have been overturned but perhaps the most provocative stigma still to be shattered is that which surrounds age.

Distilled from Scottish barley in 2016, this three year old Octomore 10.4 is the youngest ever released, yet the most impressive. Standing alone in any heavyweight line-up, the depth, balance and composure of this Virgin Oak release is astounding.

Twenty-eight casks cut from Limousin oak have been subjected to a high toast before making their way to Warehouse 12 for filling. Their high tannic impact is subsided by a high toast level which gives way to a dry fruit character that is impeccably well-rounded

Pappy & Co. Barrel Aged Pepper Sauce...$12.99
Aged in Pappy Van Winkle Barrels
Recently nominated as a finalist for the 2019 Good Food Awards!
It's high noon on a hot, Southern summer day. The sun shining brightly from cloudless sky, the humidity as thick as honey. It's a purifying heat; the kind that makes you feel like you've accomplished something just by being brave enough to weather it.

We've taken that heat and bottled it.

In partnership with another family owned business (and our friends), Midland Ghost, we've created an exclusive hot sauce. Made with their famous, locally grown, first generation Ghost Peppers and aged in our Pappy Van Winkle bourbon barrels for a rich, smoky, oaky heat. We mellow out the heat of the ghost peppers by adding some mild red peppers to the mix. The result is the perfect blend that makes this a smoky pepper sauce you can add a dash to just about anything from meats and vegetables to Bloody Mary cocktails.

Go beyond the grill, and discover all of the culinary fun you can have with our hot sauce.

Together, we've made a one-of-a-kind syrup bursting with flavors of vanilla, butter, oak and, of course, bourbon. Aged in Pappy Van Winkle bourbon barrels, use it in your favorite recipes, as a finishing syrup or even in your favorite cocktails. Just be sure to save a little for those Sunday morning pancakes.

Longefay Brouilly

Less than 100 cases made each year!!

2016 Longefay Brouilly....$19.99
Some of the best vineyards in Brouilly from 20-110 year old vines!
A classic example of Brouilly. The wine has rich red raspberry, and mulberry flavors, with undertones of blue fruit. The finish is unexpectedly silky, long and lingering. In spite of Annie and Bernard’s understated demeanor, this is a wine with considerable elegance and sophistication. Typical of Beaujolais, the combination of soft tannins and bright fruit make this one of the most versatile food wines you can find. It is perfect with everything from pork, to pizza, and even barbeque.

St. Veran value

Great white Burgundy value!!!

2018 Les Pierres Grises St. Veran...$18.99
Beautiful Chardonnay varietal characteristics of bright citrus framed by a backbone of clean acidity & minerality with a finish that is clean, bright and refreshing. The name of the wine, “Les Pierres Grises,” refers to the grey rocks that define the terrain of Saint Veran and this wine always keeps this terroir directly in focus.

"GG" - Grosse Gewachs

"GG" - Grosse Gewachs
(Great Growths of Germany)
For a wine to be labeled Grosse Gewachs the fruit must come from one of Germany's Grosse Lage Vineyards,a designation used only for Germany's very best vineyard sites - small, carefully demarcated areas with clear site-specific characteristics. Yields on these sites are limited to 50hl/ha. These wines are fermented to dry and represent the finest expression of Dry Riesling coming from Germany. Very little is produced and even less gets exported so we are very excited to be able offer these amazing wines from Schafer Frohlich.

2014 Schafer Frohlick Felseneck Rieslng GG...$25.99 / 375ml
Lowest price on Wine-Searcher is $64.95 / 750ml
The 2014 Felseneck Riesling trocken GG is very clear, bright, pure and fine in the herbal and salty-flavored nose. Piquant, dense and juicy on the palate, this is concentrated yet filigreed Riesling with typical slate spiciness and a filigreed structure.
Rated 96/100 James Suckling
The Fröhlichs’ signature site has never, in my experience, faced such formidable competition from their other Grosse Gewächse (which are also more numerous than ever, thanks to the post-2012 inclusion of Stromberg) but it rises to the occasion with the greatest clarity, delicacy, refreshment and refinement of this year’s amazing collection. The aromas are less effusive and the flavors more restrained than in several of its siblings, but what a wealth of subtleties! Juicy apple and white currant are shimmeringly infused with mint, wintergreen, iris, and crystalline, stony, iodine-like as well as mouthwatering saline mineral notes, ushering-in a near-endless finish.
Rated 96/100 Vinous Media

2016 Schafer-Frohlich Riesling Felsenberg GG...$53.99
Lowest price on Wine-Searcher is $79.00 / 750ml
Another amazing dry riesling from this producer. This wine marries richness and enormous lemony freshness, ending with a starburst of herbal-mineral character. Drink now or hold.
Rated 95/100 James Suckling
From the earliest of the grand crus, the Schlossböckelheimer, 2016 Nahe Riesling Felsenberg "GG" opens with a fascinating, fine and complex bouquet with spicy/vegetal, herbal and stony aromas, whereas the fruit is subtle, very clear and precise. On the palate, this is a round and juicy Felsenberg that reveals intense fruit, with ripe but fine acidity and a long, well-structured and powerful finish. This is a warmer type of Riesling, coming from a cru that Tim harvests with respect to the berry skins, which should still have buoyancy since the grapes of the Felsenberg tend to become overripe in a very short time, even within a day.
Rated 94/100 Wine Advocate

2017 Schafer-Frohlich Riesling Stromberg GG...$53.99
Lowest price on Wine-Searcher is $64.99 / 750ml
It's hard to imagine how a riesling could have a more northerly personality than this cool, delicate and very elegant wine. Great balance and very long, saline finish. From a forgotten, top site that Tim Fröhlich reactivated in 2012. Drink or hold.
Rated 97/100 James Suckling

2018 La Croix Gratiot Picpoul de Pinet

Fresh and lively!
One of our favorites is back in stock!
New 2018 Vintage

2018 La Croix Gratiot Picpoul de Pinet....$12.99

For a grape variety that can sometimes be aggressive, this is an beautifully balanced Picpoul. The nose is perfumed with floral, and tropical fruit notes. In the mouth the wine is full of stone fruit, melon, and fruit cocktail notes. The soft fruit is tempered with an intense minerality, and citrus notes. Picpoul de Pinet has always been a textbook match for oysters, mussels, and just about any other type of shellfish you can imagine.
About Picpoul de Pinet: Known as the “Chablis of the South”, the wines of Picpoul de Pinet are crisp, bright and refreshing. The name Picpoul, literally translates as “Lip Stinger”, referring to the grape’s naturally bright acidity. A line of hills protects the appellation of Picpoul de Pinet from the northwestern winds, while the coastal winds from the Mediterranean temper the summer heat. The appellation includes six communes: Mèze, Montagnac, Pinet, Florensac, Pomérols, and Castelnau-de Guers.

Goose Island Lost Palate Hazy IPA...$15.99 / 15pk cans

Hazy IPA with Mango and Cinnamon
This release is dedicated to Jonny, a long time Goose Island employee. Jonny, and Brewer Quinn, came up with this recipe after Jonny’s recent victorious battle with cancer. Jonny lost the ability to taste many flavors, an unfortunate consequence of battling cancer. He almost completely lost his palate and mangos and cinnamon were two of the few things he was still able to taste.

We’re happy to say that Jonny is now a cancer survivor! This beer pays tribute to the flavors that were never lost.
